MSNBC’s Touré: Obama Being Interrupted 'Cannot Be Disconnected From the Fact That He’s Black'
NewsBusters reported moments ago that MSNBC contributor Julian Epstein strongly suggested President Obama being interrupted during a press conference in the White House Rose Garden Friday was because he was African-American.
About an hour later, MSNBC's Touré took it a step further saying definitively, "This disrespect of this human being cannot be disconnected from the fact that he’s black” (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):
After Touré said this on the Dylan Ratigan Show, fellow MSNBC contributor Krystal Ball agreed saying, “100 percent.”
Host Ratigan asked Touré to elaborate.
“There is a basic, lesser humanity generally ascribed to black people, even one this alpha, this much in power, this much in control,” answered Touré.
“You’re saying the willingness for white power to disrespect black power is higher than white power to disrespect white power?” asked Ratigan.
“Absolutely,” Touré said, “or just for white people to see a black person in power and say, ‘I don’t have to respect you.’ And even at the point of decorum when he says, ‘I’m speaking, I have acknowledged you rude person. But we are doing this thing together, and I’m still talking.’ And he continues to interrupt. That’s when it gets really disrespectful.”
For those unfamiliar with Touré, he's also a 9/11 Truther.
That said, in the course of about an hour, three MSNBC contributors blamed this incident on the color of the President's skin.
Tough to believe in 2012, isn't it?

Well, it is true that you can't "disconnect" someone's skin tones from anything that happens to them every day of his life (unless their skin is transparent), but what difference does it make? Bush, who was heckled, interrupted, and even assaulted, quite often during his 8 years in the White House, was a White Man, but I have NEVER heard anyone claim that the interruptions was due to the color of his skin. What makes Obama any different?

Mom of Murdered Obama Gay Lover Speaks Up
The story about President Barack Obama’s bi-sexual past will not go away. Now, in an exclusive interview with The Globe, Norma Jean Young, the 76-year old mother of the late Trinity United Church of Christ choir director Donald Young, has spoken out and declared that persons trying to protect Obama murdered her son at the height of the 2007 Democratic presidential primary to protect Obama from embarrassing revelations about his homosexual relationship with her son. Donald Young’s bullet-ridden body was found in his Chicago apartment on December 23, 2007, in what appeared to be an assassination-style slaying.
Some facts:
In late May, Wash. DC-based investigative journalist Wayne Madsen had a bombshell revelation about Obama’s membership in a Chicago gay club, Man’s Country. Madsen also reported on Obama’s sexual relationships with other men, including named D.C. politicians and Donald Young, the openly-gay choir-director of the church in Chicago of which Obama was a member for some 20 years — Jeremy Wright’s Trinity United Church of Christ black liberation theology. Obama’s relationship with Young was confirmed by Larry Sinclair, who claims to have had two sex-cocaine trysts with Obama.
There were two other openly gay men in Wright’s church: Larry Bland and Nate Spencer. In late 2007, as Obama began his ascent to be the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee, in a span of 1½ months, all three men “conveniently” died:
• Bland was murdered execution-style on November 17, 2007;
• Young was murdered execution-style on December 24, 2007;
• Spencer reportedly died of septicemia, pneumonia, and HIV on December 26, 2007.
• Death certificates of Bland and Young, http://www.rense.com/general82/cdet.htm
Now, Young’s elderly mother is speaking out about her suspicions that her son was murdered to protect Obama’s reputation and assure his political future as President.

In the early days of the Obama administration, there was an episode where he got some flak about something he'd said or done, and he reacted in his typically thin-skinned fashion.
I can't for the life of me remember who it was, but I saw a commentator responding to the president's tantrum. He was a black man, heavy-set and bald. (And I'd guess conservative, based on what came out of his mouth.) He said in essence, being criticized kind of goes with the territory of being president, and presidents have been criticized for quite some time before Obama came on the scene. If you can't handle the criticism, maybe you shouldn't have run for president.
I heartily agreed. (I also kinda remember a serious eye-roll on this gentleman's part as well.)

This is truly treasonous and should be dealt with as such. CAn't use actual logic with these Marxist whackjobs.
By Toure's logic, then, George W Bush and Ronald Reagan are black.
His Racist Comment

That's a racist comment if I ever heard one. Where's the media outrage over that. Oh, sorry, I forgot .....
Bush was heckled too
Submitted by debiesam on Fri, 06/15/2012 - 10:19pm.
Bush had a shoe thrown at him. He was booed at the 2005 State of the Union address. He was burned in effigy. In fact he was heckled at almost every opportunity. Obviously a clear-cut case of racism.
Rude? Maybe*

But I put Neil Munro in the same category as Joe Wilson. When the guy standing directly in front of you has his pants on fire, you have to shout out something!!!
LOL

Awesome. This could be remembered in history as the pants on fire administration.
Bush was also heckled at an NAACP speech

I'm obviously a little late
Submitted by killa37 on Fri, 06/15/2012 - 10:44pm.
I'm obviously a little late to the party, since I'm over here in Asia/Hawaii, and I was at work all day. But I did hear some clips from Boy Baraka on the radio news, talkin' (Obamaspeak) about how he was gonna let all these young illegal trespassers - who were 'American in every way - except the paperwork' (which might even make them MORE legit than Barry himself!!!) - and, although I didn't hear anything about being 'interupted' or 'heckled', I did hear his remark about this being 'the right thing to do'. Now, when a guy like Boy Baraka makes THAT kind of proclamation, then I KNOW it's the WRONG thing to do!!!!
The word "racist"
Submitted by Bucksergeant on Fri, 06/15/2012 - 10:54pm.
The word "Racist" has been used and abused so much that it no longer has any meaning... Mr. Touré is now wearing his skin too tight....I am very sorry to say that we have lost a lot of headway in the area of race relations in the last three and one half years.....
Presidential disrespect

C'mon, guys, the press is nothing if not consistent. Remember when President Obama had the shoe thrown at him in Iraq? The press was FURIOUS!...oh, wait...alternate reality...sorry...
Toure is a mouthpiece for the white man

Treat blacks special because they cannot compete equaly, the racism of the left. And this moron has sold out to promote the left's racism. All people are equal and only the left claims differently.

I pity this poor woman. She probably believes this crap. What a miserable life she must have thinking everybody hates blacks. How sad.
It is because he's black
Submitted by cocodrie on Sat, 06/16/2012 - 8:35am.
If he were white he'd be a white communist but since he's black he's a black communist. If he were white he'd be an evil white man but since he's black he's an evil black man.
They're half right about him being black and half right about him being african American. He's african but not American.

Obama interrupted
Submitted by Steve Cakouros on Sat, 06/16/2012 - 12:18pm.
Obama was interrupted because is evasive and arrogant. Case closed.
He has by this time demonstrated that he lacks integrity and honor so why not interrupt him?
When Obama contradicted Jesus, who said that marriage was between a man and a woman, he set the stage for further interruptions. I only hope that I run into him someday. He will hear from me. He will givena piece of my mind.
We have a president that has not earned our respect. His back door amensty move proves that he is an opportunist.
My comment has nothing to do with skin color. He just doesn't make it among those who want a real man in the White House, and not someone who throws hissy fits, a prissy prickily character who could be our first homosexual president.
Troeuuerrereeou has Cranial Rectitus
Submitted by vote24 on Sat, 06/16/2012 - 1:10pm.
Troeuuerrereeou, is not racist, well of course he's a flaming racist, but before that, he is political. This is simply the quickest easiest way to divert from the travesty that is Obama. And he clearly cannot disconnect his head from his rectum.
Remember Sam
Submitted by James Youngblood on Sat, 06/16/2012 - 3:01pm.
Touré was probably not around at the time, but Sam Donaldson of ABC used to ambush Reagan with shout-outs every chance he got, including Rose Garden Chats. This happened for almost the entire eight years Reagan was in office. According to Tour'e, Reagan must have been black. When asked about the heckling he received from Donaldson, Reagan responded with "that's just Sam being Sam". Our greatest President since Abraham Lincoln had a lot of class.

Racist idiots like Toure'
Submitted by RealVet on Sat, 06/16/2012 - 5:57pm.
Racist idiots like Toure' can't see past skin color and will never understand that no one is "entitled" to respect. It has to be EARNED. When his "hero" Barry can't portray himself as "cool" for the cameras, he simply becomes confrontational and obnoxious.
Every single president has had to deal with question-shouting boorish media types. In this case, the guy asked Obummer a tough question, and instead of ignoring or attempting to use what little brain power he has, he decided on confrontation. In doing so, he once more revealed himself as a belligerant Chicago punk.

Sorry Touré, the race card has become wilted from overuse. The law of diminishing returns set in long ago. We can recognize the card long before you even turn it over, it is political old-hat. You telegraph it's play like a tired right hand from an over-the-hill prizefighter.
Also Touré, you need to get up to speed with the rule changes. The race card is no longer trump and you embarrass yourself when you play it as if it still is trump.
