Alec Baldwin Goes Nuts On Twitter Again: Attacks Bush, Cheney, Mark Levin and 'Right Wing Trash'

By Noel Sheppard | November 28, 2011 | 22:28

A  A
Noel Sheppard's picture

Actor Alec Baldwin for the second time in as many months went nuts on Twitter.

His targets Monday were George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Mark Levin, readers of the website Free Republic, and what he referred to as "right wing trash":

For those not familiar with Twitter, much like a blog, entries go from newest to oldest. As such, Baldwin began today's rant calling someone a "dumbass hillbilly" and then spiraled downward from there:

"Mark Levin loving zombie hater trash!!!"

"Free Republic, American Renaissance, gun-loving, war-mongering, trolls....bring it!!"

And, of course, the requisite attack on Bush and Cheney.

Not very original, but nonetheless entertaining.

From there, Baldwin started going after people for their low number of followers - a truly classy thing for a movie star to do - while making what appears to be anti-Hispanic slurs, and concluding with more Bush/Cheney bashing.

What I like the most about today's rant is how this man who thinks himself a genius compared to others worthy of entering politics confuses "right" and "write":

"I assume you can right off all of your write wing dry cleaning bills."

"Can you right off the magenta panties?"

Quite the intellectual heavyweight, isn't he?

For those that missed it, Baldwin made a similar pathetic display in September the evening Georgia cop killer Troy Davis was executed.

I wonder what set him off this time.

Has-been leftist movie stars put to pasture on Oprah or the View

Submitted by Slyrr on Mon, 11/28/2011 - 10:32pm.

What do you do when you're a washed-up hollywood libutard?

Scrabble vainly at fame by becoming a political issue blowhard.

Didn't save Janine Garafolo's dead career. Didn't save Joyless Bahar's failed show. Didn't make anyone want to watch Roseanne Barr's new show, or Rosie O'Donnell's 'variety' show. All of these failed lefty celebutards are still Z-list celebs, if that. O'Donnell's only hope now is that Oprah likes her enough to keep feeding your new show money from those deeeeep pockets. Maybe Alec Baldy should go begging Oprah for money as well.

If a Liberal/Democrat politician/media figure wants to put their arms around you, or pat you on the back, all they're doing is looking for a good place to stick a knife.

Submitted by drsamherman on Mon, 11/28/2011 - 11:39pm.

...because those posts seem to emanate from acute intoxication of some kind. I would bet it's a combination of alcohol plus whatever else he conned some hack into prescribing for him. Pharmacologic substances that lower inhibitory threshholds include benzos, certain antidepressants, and certain forms of hallucinogens and stimulants. Just from a 10,000 foot viewpoint, I would bet he decided it would be a good time to try a fifth of overpriced designer booze plus a few milligrams of Xanax for good measure. That would certainly lower his inhibitions enough to write trash like that.

smack-talking deals. It's rapid fire exchanges replete with spontaneous, on the fly insults and tongue in cheek--"bring it on you right-wing tools"--bravado. It's not the Oxford Debating Society. And it's probably far less volatile than MrShy and his lib brothers at the Thanksgiving dinner table.

Baldwin is smart and well-informed. And it looks like he was having a good time. He goofed with "right" instead of "write", obviously realized it, and played off on it in his next tweet with the "write wing" quip.

And if you read the entire page of tweets, you'll see that he has a pretty good sense of humor, too.

the contrary. Not only this series of rants, but many such rants and unhinged writings (which he had time to edit before publication on HuffPo, but lacked the ability to be introspective) in the past (including his "smart" rant aimed at his pre-pubescent daughter...my, what a font of smart self-control and mastery of the situation that was).

And well-informed? Sorry, I have first-hand experience to the contrary, as a former Wading River resident. His sticking his nose in the middle of the Brookhaven National Laboratory tritium issue going back to the nineties proved his lightweight intellectual status as he was frequently-nay, mostly-misinformed on the issues at hand. Not to mention his arrogant "it affects me because my limo passes that exit on the LIE on the way to the Hamptons" approach.

Not to try and start a war over him, but your comment is precisely why the right tries hard to illuminate his (and other celebs) off-the-deep-end and/or idiotic comments; because for some unknown reason, he is held in high esteem by some people.

Baldwin proves the this

Submitted by kinijane on Tue, 11/29/2011 - 9:32am.

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate, willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince.
The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their President."

Alec Baldwin has always been a very strange person with bizarre behavior problems. Baldwin likes to think that he influences the American public when in fact unless you are one of the less than one percenters who is a member of the Daily Koz or the Arianna Post then you will regard him as a disfunctional loon. And just laugh at his antics as he makes a fool of himself.

why it is that we are to put any stock whatsoever in the political rantings of someone who spends their days, and nights, pretending to be someone and something they are not (IE - acting)?

Hollywood "elite" are untrustworthy liars, when you get right down to it. They live their lives pretending to be something they are not, pretending to be doctors, lawyers, journalists and politicians and every other profession known to mankind.

IOW, they are nothing but complete FAKES. Posers.
