The folks at "Fox & Friends" had some fun at Chris Matthews' expense Sunday morning, and managed to mock some other high-profile, liberal media members while they were at it:

As they reported rumors that "the alleged journalist on MSNBC" is looking to unseat Sen. Arlen Specter (R-Penn) in 2010, the gang contemplated what Congress would look like if Michael Moore, Keith Olbermann, and Sean Penn also ran (video embedded below the fold, h/t AmericasNewsToday.com):
How delicious.

November 30, 2008 - 18:40 ET by FastEdtalking heads fun for office! Let's just see how much effect THEY really have with the american people. Let us find out how ther really relate to the "people".
And, after they all announce, and then continue their objective reporting, we can say we've seen it all. A fair political race, reported by the candidates, and no negative ads or sillyness.
Can't wait - soooo, who's gonna be the first? (don't see any hands, kinda disappointing, considering how they always talk about putting the folks first - sorry, need to keep 'ya categorized as cowards).

Good one gal!
The clown nose is funny, just wished they would of put some devil-horns coming out of Olbie's head instead...that fits him much better IMO.

Obama Stalk-A-Thon
November 30, 2008 - 19:01 ET by HoosierEmObama needs to take out a restraining order on Chris Matthews. I think Chris Matthews wants to make sure he is in the mere presence of the Messiah on a regular basis.
I think Matthews would follow Obama around like a little puppy dog sniffing his behind. And that's not a pretty picture, folks.
Creepy...
November 30, 2008 - 19:14 ET by Wilbur747really, really creepy. The thought of Matthews' foaming at the mouth (look at his past clips), talking about how he gets a shiver (or whatever) up his leg about the Obamessiah, and the thought of my new Aussie Shepard puppy 'shaking his booty' on my leg, is really creeping me out!
But, wait, there's more . . . .
December 1, 2008 - 13:46 ET by DoktorFrankenYes, I believe Matthews is an old leg humper from wa-a-a-a-y back. He and the Clown (LOVED the red nose) Olbermann can double-team Hussein in the Oval Orifice - eh, Office.
What is the law about 'considering running' for public office and being on nationwide news? True, not many people see him but there are rules that the Democrats have to break, aren't there? Matthews better get crackin' if he's going to play hardball with the likes of Clinton and Hussein.

November 30, 2008 - 19:16 ET by Wilbur747sorry, New trackball, old thumbs. You understand!!

November 30, 2008 - 19:02 ET by motherbeltDelicious, indeed Noel.
The lady had it right: they spend all their time talking about politics, so they think they can be in politics.
They are the equivalent of every empty-headed Hollywood starlet and starletto (male starlet LOL) who really wants to "direct."

November 30, 2008 - 19:53 ET by RR GOPI simply don't find this amusing.
Any of them could actually be elected. Look how close Franken came (*shivers*), and he might still pull it off!
The Communists that have already been elected are bad enough.
One of the 24% who thinks George W. Bush was a great President. One of the 89% who wants to bring back the stock and pillory.

November 30, 2008 - 20:18 ET by bigtimerRR... I don't find it amusing at all either, but there are times in this mess, that I suppose a little laughter can't hurt lighten the load of 24/7 BS the msm arm in arm with their so-called politico pals cram down our throats everyday, laughter never hurts now and then, in fact at times for me it is much needed...especially after the last two years, let alone 7-8 with what they have done daily to the Bush administration, let alone him, but heck, if you do not learn to fight back, you get what you deserve I suppose.

Matthews
November 30, 2008 - 23:03 ET by NoSoupForYouBring it on FNC! Matthews deserves whatever they dish out. Sorry, no sympathy from me. I'd love to treat Obama with the same respect that they gave Bush, but I honestly don't think I have it in me to stoop THAT low. Call me crazy, but I still have a certain level of self-respect and integrity to not act like a mindless moonbat moron.

December 1, 2008 - 00:30 ET by Captain RepusThe thought of Matthews in any position of power higher than road guard sends shivers up my leg. But, on the other hand, after what happened in this election cycle has me to the point that I just don't give a rats a$$ what happens any more. The morons, phonies and socialists are in charge now and for the forseeable future. The explosion of the lemming class will insure that we will never return to patriotic, conservative and moral life again in this country.
As far as I am concerned it is now every man (and woman) for him/herself now. Watch the skies.

Chris Matthews
December 1, 2008 - 09:37 ET by SeashellSurely Chris Matthews is not stupid enough to run.
He has to know that his republican challenger will have a multitude of sound bites and videos that show the insipid and foolish behavior Matthews exhibits everyday.
