I can't believe Oprah would so quickly come out with a statement against having Sarah Palin on until AFTER the election. I will be amazed if she is not pressured into back-tracking on that public statement. After all, business is business, how can she afford to miss the greatest ratings of her lifetime?

 Oprah may be in the tank for Obama, but she is still a savvy business women who I think will put $$$ in front of her love of the Obamanator.

 Does anyone doubt for a second that if Obama had chosen a woman running mate that Oprah would not be jumping at the bit to have her on?

Oprah Winfrey has publicly endorsed Barack Obama and she clearly wants him to be the next POTUS. She already said she will be glad to have her on the show after the election.

Just like Maria Shriver took a hiatus from Dateline when Arnold was running for Governor, it is a conflict of interest. IMO no media bias here.

The funny thing about the ratings, circulation driven, stock-holder traded, or private media is, they sometimes forget that they're not PBS or NPR.

Of course Oprah is biased.

Being an avid television watcher, especially the gooney reality shows, I've noticed something recently.

On the most recent edition of ABC's, "The Mole", contestant Nichole, an OB-GYN and a black American, actually said into the camera about the white males on her team, "I don't trust those guys, they're not even my people."

On a recent episode of CBS's "Big Brother 10", contestant Libra, a black American, said to another contestant, black American Ollie, "We have to stick together, they're not our people."

Evidently Oprah feels the same way.  Don't even argue.  She does.

Racist?  I don't know.  It sure feels that way, and surely Oprah, Libra, Ollie, and Nichole would accuse ANY white American of racism if we had said or done what they have, but, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, choosing to see these four people as (racially) ignorant.  They've been raised by "their people" to not trust whites.

The bias of the major networks, due to that good ol' liberal malady, "white guilt" is being ramped up and the egregious behavior of individuals such as Oprah, Nichole, Libra, and Ollie completely accepted.

Oprah demonstrates herself to be a close-minded, self-serving, favor-my-race-over-any-other individual.  That's her choice.  I don't have to buy her magazine, watch her show, or buy the products she hawks - none of it.  And I can (will) tell my friends and family not to watch her, subscribe to her, or buy the products commercialized on her show.

Good thing she's already a billionaire, because of white American women, I don't think her financial status will be inflated by white American women anymore, though.

Obama hasn't been on in almost 2 years, if I recall correctly, and the last was before he announced he was running for President, so she's under no obligation to be "fair".

Secondly, she's a private citizen running a private business. She can run it however she wants. I'm a conservative so that means that I don't want government interfering in business, so let her keep Palin off if that's what she wants to do.

I think it's a stupid business decision, but Oprah is more than entitled to make stupid business decisions.  She's obviously made a few great ones along the way.

Don't get me wrong. I can't stand the woman. But this just isn't something I can get upset about.

This election is more fun than the Steelers winning. It is just absolutely wonderful too see liberals who profited, hid behind and whined about "unfair" treatment of women and minorities to see them in Oprah Winfrey doing the same exact thing to Gov. Sarah Palin.

This is not bigotry, this is not bias, but this is pure racism in the priestess Oprah against a white woman married to a native American.

Oprah had on George Bush when Al Gore was running, but just as soon as it is a male of Arabian heritage (Obama is according to reports more Arabian than black) Oprah becomes a racist.

It would be very nice if someone in this election actually reported the following facts:

Fact 1: Barack Obama's family is Luo and Arab.

Fact 2: The Luo tribe immigrated out of Africa and displaced by force other less developed black people out of Kenya as in war and conquest.

Fact 3: Blacks in organized groups as Obama's hunted, captured, imprisoned and sold less developed blacks into the slave trade.

Fact 4: The Arab's developed the slave trade in Africa.

Fact 5: The Muslims of North Africa enslaved around 1 million plus white Europeans as the book White Gold by English historian Giles Milton documents on Amazon.com.

Fact 6: Barack Obama in not his white heritage, but his black and Arab heritage were the very people who caught Oprah Winfrey's ancestors and his wife, Michelle's ancestors and made them into slaves.

Now that in Arabic Obama is a most interesting issue which one would believe the black community and Oprah Winfrey would address.

Address now as in Oprah's racism she now has an open hour in denying Gov. Palin a place on her program.

Note* Oprah lost about 13 points off her audience when she backed Barack Obama over Hillary Clinton.
That number should double for the 100 million dollar woman who is probably going to find like Martha Stewart when the audienced leaves your power leaves and you end up on the midnight time slot next to the vitamin cure guy.

It is pretty clear to me Oprah is a racist. she has stirred the pot, or to conjured up an old phrase stirred the kettle black.

Oprah though has another problem we should be aware of, she does not live in Chicago but in Rolling Prairie Indiana, Yep Rolling Prairie is "good ol boy" territory at its finest. I'll let your imagination work on that one.

She doesn't need to appear on that wacko's show, hell the zombies who watch her weren't gonna vote of Sarah anyway, if the lunkheads vote at all.  If I were Palin I would damn sure pick and choose who I granted an interview.  It's not like they are going to say anything good about her anyway.

I have fond memories of Peter Jennings and Sam Donaldson as like a dynamic duo -- solid anchor leading into a solid reporter.  I remember Sniglets (I think it was) had a word for him -- "Samblasting", the act of blasting a president with hard questions out of nowhere.

Maybe ABC still has a little bit of that old school spirit and I'm glad to see them calling a spade a spade.  NBC is lost and CBS is looking ill but maybe ABC still has a little fight left in it and can still plow a center field view, that attacks both sides instead of just the Republicans.  It would sure be nice to have something to choose from other than just FOX.
