Speaking as a member of the VRWC (Vast Right Wing Conspiracy), I would ask, who is this person?  I thought Randi Rhodes was Ozzy's guitarist who died. 

Also if she works for Air America, and someone knew this, why would they want to rob her?  To get IOU’s from Air America or a couple of dollars swindled from a New York charity?  I didn’t even know Air America was still on the air.  Air America is a left wing crazy blog, for people who can not read or type.

The only thing which might save Air America is the fairness doctrine.  If you had some conservatives on for balance, you might add a few listeners.  Besides wasn’t there a taxpayer funded leftist radio on the dials for years?  It’s called NPR.

Why bother mugging Rhodes to silence her? Just by allowing her to broadcast over Air America assures that no one can hear her.

I wish her nothing but the best and speediest of recoveries, and hope that the perpetrators of this crime are caught so that we can sort out their true motivations - be they right wing nuts attempting to silence her, or impoverished homeless citizens whose unfortunate condition no doubt was caused by the policies of right wing nuts, forcing them into a life of mugging.

I guess it doesn't count, however, if the actual account debunks the conservative hate plot theory. I hope her a speedy recovery as well, but I think she needs to be a little more careful with her matchbook around the powderkeg she associates with.

Even though I disagree with her, I wish her a speedy recovery. Many of us conservatives do have empathy and compassion, in spite of what the left thinks.  I find it sad to think that the first reaction from the left is that this was a hit by conservatives. There is not a shred of evidence or proof that this is the case. It is a random street crime, which unfortunately happens.
