'Fox News Watch' Covers NewsBusters' CNN/Oprah.com Story

  • Bookmark and Share

On Monday, NewsBuster Warner Todd Huston revealed Oprah.com and CNN's statistically unsupported theory that women are leaving men for other women.

On Saturday, "Fox News Watch" shared this bizarre story with its viewers, giving NewsBusters credit for the revelation.

Host Jon Scott stated (video embedded right, h/t Jeff Poor):

Caught in the web this week: according to the media website NewsBusters.org, Oprah.com and CNN.com have teamed up to tell us about a new trend -- women leaving men for other women. Now, this could get interesting. This site points out, but there are no statistics and no proof offered by these Internet giants to back up their claims. Why is that? Because Oprah.com says, "Statistics are hard to come by."

Thanks for the shout out, Jon!

*giggle*

that's very funny.  Facts! We'ze don need no stinkin' facts.  C'mon I am sure there are some research people out there aching for some grant money to do this.  It would help with job creation, too.  Of course the results wouldn't be timely to the cause.

As I said in the mentioned article above that this (bisexuality) is actually a popular fad in my children's schools.

Where is Dan Rather?

What no facts?  Never stopped Dan Rather.

Bravo, well done

What Does Oprah Do On Mother's Day?

What is the results of women chosing women over men? Well less children I would think.

Happy Mother’s Day to All You Mothers :)

Re Newswatch

I like Newswatch, but it's only a half an hour and after the advertising, the self-promotion and the news breaks on the quarter, there's only 12 minutes of show there. Thank God they got rid of Neal Gabler though.

I don't like the new time slot

I liked it better when it was on at 6:30 eastern.  And I kind of miss Neal Gabler.  He was such a tool and conspiracy theorist that he was kind of funny.

What ever happened to the original moderator?

The proof is in the proof

I've said, many times, that the difference between NewsBusters and other websites is that you guys never simply toss off an opinion. You guys back it up. You explain the context, and you cite the quotes, usually embedding a video of the biased offense.

NewsBusters, as they say in the mafia, comes heavy. You bring the evidence. You bring the details. You show respect for your readers by presenting the evidence for all to see. If people disagree, fine; but you show respect for your audience by leaving it up to them to decide.

You deserve the praise. Keep it up!

When is Oprah...

...going to just come out and admit that she's a lesbo?

Everyone knows.

Well

Oprah said so, so it is so.  No facts needed.

Oprah - Steadman - Gail

Oprah is just laying the groundwork to justify the story of her announcing why she is not with "Steadman" and has been "living with" Gail for a number of years. Oprah is a loser who is promoted by guilty white liberals. Her show is horrid...
