The tweet says that in Brewer's opinion Miss California hates gay marriage.  It does not say that she thinks she hates gays.

Brewer is a ditz and a lefty ditz at that, but she didn't say Prejean hates gays.

I do hate..... the behavior of these individuals! I hate the sin but TRY to love the sinner! Unfortunately, the actions by gay activists and their enablers in the MSM are making it more difficult for me to accomplish this! Isn't it amazing what some of these lefty hacks will do to try and seem relevant? Nearly 3 weeks into the "controversy" and Brewer finally decides to pop off.  Is little Ms. Airhead aware that her lord and master has the same position on gay marriage? Do you think she'd change her alleged mind if she knew that? As a "respected journalist", is she aware of free speech rights, you know the ones that appear in the same amendment to the Constitution that allows freedom of the press?

The proposition was overwhelmingly decided by the majority of Californian voters. Had Prejean spoken up in favor of gay marriage would people have called for her crown? No ... it isn't what we in white hats do! 

I've linked to your post, from Exposing Bias and Deception at NBC more than 50 in California voted to defend traditional marriage. There has been hate shown during Prop 8, and even this morning Cyber bully Perez Hilton continues his attacks with photoshopped images.

Even if they were not photo shopped, if we use his standards would any of use find salvation? His attacks calling Carrie a hypocrit apply to every Christian; Perez Hilton does not guard the gates of heaven, If he guards any gate at all.

During Prop 8 Churches were attacked, Contessa Brewer was silent. People who donated to Prop 8 were targeted places of employment were boycotted, some were forced out of jobs, tell me were was Contessa Brewer.

I'd like to see polls on gay marriage, before and after the Prejean incident, all else equal. I am pretty sure the gay activists have hurt their cause by all the intolerance and hatred that they have shown on this. Anyone know if that data is available?

Regarding this statement:

I don't think that it's a matter of insecurity that Prejean would feel about removing clothing in the context of her job, which at the time was modeling lingerie. In extension, one could make that statement for any actress, or actor for that matter, when they disrobe in their roles on stage or in film.

Don't feel that you have to defend her actions in such a way when, obviously, it didn't affect her when she did this commercial. She has never indicated nor apologized any regret at her actions in doing her job at the time, and no rational person would expect her to do as such. Modeling lingerie for a company is NOT the same thing as posting nude in Playboy or appearing in a porno, just like an actress who has nude parts in a feature film would do a triple X smut job.

I do realize that there are fundamentalists who may think that any such posing is, by definition, just as immoral as xxx films, but I would submit it's a small minority. But her stance on marriage, and by extension fidelity, is far more the issue here.

I could tolerate Brewer if she took her shirt off...maybe.
