How To Make Morning Joe Panel Shut Up: Say 'Solyndra'
Ever been watching Morning Joe, and wished you could stop the steady stream of liberal blather? Simple. Say the magic word—Solyndra—and watch the gabby guests fall suddenly silent.
Today's show offered a prime example of the phenomenon. For the first ten minutes, the panel had a great old time cackling and crowing on the theme that the Republican presidential field is a mass of morons. They laughed at the mere mention of Herman Cain, likened the GOP field to a vaudeville show, dragged out the shopworn "bar in Star Wars" simile, and called the Republican candidates "jokes," "clowns" and "stupid." But then, 13 minutes in, Mika Brzezinski mentioned a story reporting that the Obama admin had suppressed the announcement of layoffs at Solyndra until after the 2010 elections. Despite Mika looking around the table at her guests as she wondered out loud "why this story hasn't picked up more," there wasn't a peep out of the quickly clammed-up crew and Brezinski breezed on to another topic. Video after the jump.
Watch how, after mocking Republicans mercilessly for 10 minutes, when Solyndra was mentioned, the normally loquacious likes of Tina Brown and Mike Barnicle were suddenly without a word to say.

Mark there actually was a part two to this as Meeeeeeka brought up the e-mails that showed Obama and company wanted the job losses to be squashed until after the election and no names were mentioned and Leg Tingles himself when he spoke on it made it appear that it always happens and AGAIN no names were mentioned in the entire 60 seconds of "Hey, we reported on Solyndra" BS session.
Mark, pull it up, as in mid-sentence talking about this,Tingles goes into an anti-Cain screed as if he forgot why he was alive.
BTW, what they TRIED to do to Rubio this morning was shameless, gutless and nothing but an attempt at a hatchet job and I really can't say what I called Meeeeeeka this morning as she went into ***** mode and tried to appear to be a journalist all of a sudden, but she came off as nothing but a *****.
Rubio and Coons are trying to do something about jobs, but all these lefties would have none of that talk as it wasn't the sainted Obysmals whole plan.

Brzezinski and a male guest (I heard it on XM so I didn't see who it was) both tried to get Rubio to say that the collection of GOP candidates is week. Phrases like "You can't be proud of your party if these are the candidates . . . " and similar fare. Other guests like Chris Matthews piled on.
So, while Coons and Rubio appeared on the show to discuss a bi-lateral effort in the Senate to pass things they can agree on, it turned into another slam of the GOP and its candidates.
Rubio, by the way, handled it all very well, refusing to take the bait while explaining that the primary process is designed to allow candidates to hone their messages and learn from mistakes, and he pointed to Obama's success from a slow start in 2008 to the nomination and the Presidency. While the Lefties on the panel acknowledged this, they immediately continued to pile on. NYT columnist Bill Keller stated that when the "clown car" stops emptying, Romney will be the nominee, prompting Matthews to burst out laughing for what seemed like half a minute.

Tina Brown - the most sanctimonious on the panel who happens to be doing a great job of sinking Newsweek into oblivion.
Mika - the last of the valley girls. Does she realize just how utterly clueless she comes across?

Vanden Heuvel, The Communist Tart Ended it for Me
Submitted by Annie Ashe Fields on Wed, 11/16/2011 - 11:53am.
I actually reached my limit with them - FOREVER & FROM NOW ON - early this morning. I try to watch both sides but no more. That's it.
I can’t take it anymore; the lying - just flat-out lying, which is bad enough, and frequent enough, every quarter-hour in fact, but the fun-house mirror bullsh*t that flies out of people’s mouths unchecked and unchallenged by a single one of the 4 or 5 people around the table who (should) know better, has reached critical mass for me. It’s just no longer tolerable.
Katrina Vanden Heuvel, that communist tart, and I mean both communist & tart quite literally – and can prove the former – uttered the phrase “They’re a destructive force, not a constructive one” just as I flipped over to Morning Joe from checking in on Fox & Friends (which urgently needs to burn the Saturday Night Fever wardrobe rejects and open a big fat account at a proper couturier like St. John) and I was shocked. For a second there I thought KVH had a moment of clarity!
Silly me. I thought the "destructive force" she was referring to OWS… She was referring to House Tea Party Republicans! AHHHHH!
That tore it.
That utterance was so, clearly, demonstrably, provably, upside-goddamned-down insane, so utterly untethered to reality, such a gross, ugly, willful perversion of the prima-f*cking-facie truth, I snapped.
Done.

The Republican candidate with the most gaffs and misspeaks can then qualify to be the Democrat Party's VP -- how do you think Joe Biden got the job?
And if he has had sexual relations with a female employee less than half his age while his wife and daughter sleep upstairs or has a love child with a woman on his campaign while his wife dies of cancer then he is a shoe-in to be the Democrat Party candidate for president.

Submitted by Gat New York on Wed, 11/16/2011 - 12:01pm.
When this utterly dishonest group of sub-intellectual libs pontificates on how they are dying to have a legit competitor to their acclaimed messiah Obama, they forget how clueless he was during his campaign and how the media gave him one pass after another. This was from a Michelle Malkin column in 2008 during the campaign. It is a list of Obama gaffes (the last one is the best):
1. Last May, he claimed that Kansas tornadoes killed a whopping 10,000 people: “In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died — an entire town destroyed.” The actual death toll: 12.
2. Earlier this month in Oregon, he redrew the map of the United States: “Over the last 15 months, we’ve traveled to every corner of the United States. I’ve now been in 57 states? I think one left to go.”
3. Last week, in front of a roaring Sioux Falls, South Dakota audience, Obama exulted: “Thank you Sioux City…I said it wrong. I’ve been in Iowa for too long. I’m sorry.”
4. Explaining last week why he was trailing Hillary Clinton in Kentucky, Obama again botched basic geography: “Sen. Clinton, I think, is much better known, coming from a nearby state of Arkansas. So it’s not surprising that she would have an advantage in some of those states in the middle.” On what map is Arkansas closer to Kentucky than Illinois?
5. Obama has as much trouble with numbers as he has with maps. Last March, on the anniversary of the Bloody Sunday march in Selma, Alabama, he claimed his parents united as a direct result of the civil rights movement:
6. Earlier this month in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Obama showed off his knowledge of the war in Afghanistan by honing in on a lack of translators: “We only have a certain number of them and if they are all in Iraq, then it’s harder for us to use them in Afghanistan.” The real reason it’s “harder for us to use them” in Afghanistan: Iraqis speak Arabic or Kurdish. The Afghanis speak Pashto, Farsi, or other non-Arabic languages.
7. Over the weekend in Oregon, Obama pleaded ignorance of the decades-old, multi-billion-dollar massive Hanford nuclear waste clean-up:
8. Last March, the Chicago Tribune reported this little-noticed nugget about a fake autobiographical detail in Obama’s “Dreams from My Father:”
9. And in perhaps the most seriously troubling set of gaffes of them all, Obama told a Portland crowd over the weekend that Iran doesn’t “pose a serious threat to us”–cluelessly arguing that “tiny countries” with small defense budgets can’t do us harm– and then promptly flip-flopped the next day, claiming, “I’ve made it clear for years that the threat from Iran is grave.”
We currently have the most inexperienced, incompetent President in American history who has been way over his head and these people still sit there and try and claim that Obama should even be in the same room with ANY of the GOP candidates?
