Couric, another genius on the left. Unfortunately, millions of Americans think just as she thinks. And many of them are Republicans. Then there's the view that she's been given her orders to say what she is saying. Some of us remember 1964. The media demonized Goldwater who, for starters, wanted to be strong against our enemies. Of course, we elected the Demos and , oops-- Vietnam for ten years, until a conservative Republican finally got us out. But it's easy to be a "liberal" and listen to personal attacks on anyone who dares to disagree with you. Couric, and most "journalists" today, are ignorant, unprincipled twits who'll keep us on the road to disaster, while they cry all the way to the bank. Sad.

 P.S. Of course, a third view is that the poltroons are afraid as Hell about the likes of Limbaugh and Palin, who make sense to so many people. Personal attacks are all most "liberals" have in their "intellectual" arsenal.

i am sure the "perky one' really has the best intentions when it come to the GOP. Her sage advice is what we really need...right. As far as "fringe", rush has 20 million listeners each week. Bet Katie would like some of that "fringe" too.

Isn't it interesting how we never hear folks like kookie Katie complain about the left's fringe elements, or warn that their sideshow antics will drive folks out of their big tent? There is a movement in this country of folks that don't care about party but instead care about candidates that say what they mean and mean what they say.Candidates that will do what the will of the people and get done what the people want done. As the grandson of a Missouri farmer who was raised with the idea that you elect people to work for you this would be refreshing.Elected representatives doing the will of the people is where the Constitutional rubber meets the road.Its been along time since that really happened.

Underestimating Sarah Palin's connection to the common folk is the media's first mistake.Mistaking anger at tea parties as AstroTurf engineered by Fox News is their second mistake Taking their Messiah's liberal political power for granted will be their undoing.
