Where is Tina Fey now that we need her?

Martha Coakley is the front-runner for the Dem nomination for Ted Kennedy's old Senate seat.  In a recent debate, asked about her lack of foreign policy experience, the first credential Coakley offered in response was that "I have a sister who lives overseas, and she's been in England and now lives in the Middle East."

Will the MSM savage Coakley the same way it went after Sarah Palin for observing that Russia can be seen from parts of Alaska? Not holding breath.

Coakley

Judging from that picture - in more ways than one, Coakley is no Sarah!

NEVER,NEVER trust a "liberal"

And of course, this moron

And of course, this moron actually did say this, it wasn't an SNL skit!

Jon Stewart, call your office!!

"I have a sister who lives

"I have a sister who lives overseas, and she's been in England and now lives in the Middle East."

Wow. That fits right in with a president who's foreign policy experience includes being born in Kenya & schooled in an islamic sharia school in Indonesia..

I Have a Friend Who's Been to Kenya.

Does that mean I'm President?

Kenya

No your friend has a US Birth Certificate so they are too qualified for the position.

If you think medical care is expensive now wait until it is free!

RUNNING MAN...

Not neccessarly, but is he a good distance runner? That is what Kenyans really  kick butt in doing.

Qualified

That statement makes her as qualified as any other Democrat.

MSM hate true conservatives

MSM hate true conservatives and will smear them at all cost when it is not fair at all.    I don't think Palin was using her statement as a qualification as was the case here.  Like Dan Quayle and potato; how minor is that compared to all the crazy things Obama states like 57 states?   How big of deal to this day do still make of potato!

My 24 year old daughter just toured all of europe...

and told me all about it. I'm thinking of running for  Secretary General of the UN.

Many years ago

I visited Switzerland for the summer and toured all over Europe. That makes me qualified to be the President of the EU, right? Or is that Chairman?

Throw 'da bums out!!!

If You Really Want It . . .

. . . . better not tell anyone you've ever posted at this site.  Beside that, you seem a little over-qualified.

Scott Brown for Senate

I live in Mass and the supposed paper of record, the Boston Globe, DIDN'T even report this.

Correction though, it wasn't a debate, it was a question and answer session on a local station with one hack (Ed Harding) lobbing her the usual liberal softball questions and the real reporter Janet Wu asking some REAL questions.

Martha is nicknamed "Milk carton" around here as we have had THREE DEMOCRATIC Speakers of the house IN A ROW indicted but she has been nowhere to be found.

Many issues, but NO results.

She is as inept as she is homely.

Scott Brown for Senate - Time for a Republican voice (and he is not a right winger, but a Republican on the stuff we need him to be true to the party, but like myself, he is not dyed in the wool on EVERY ISSUE).

His daughter is Ayla Brown from American Idol fame and his wife is a local reporter, a good family with good values and not the fake ones like Barry and Shelly, real values.

A great man once said, YOU only get out of life what YOU put into it, he obviously wasn't a liberal.

Something in common with Obama

I recall during the '08 campaign when Obama was asked about his lack of foreign policy experience, and he offered up a similar defense:  That he had lived overseas.  It's good to see that in spite of the vast amount of experience that simply living in a foreign country provides, Obama chose to reinforce his experience by asking Joe "I've been wrong on every foreign policy discussion since the 80s" Biden to be his running mate.

Coakley embodies the liberal mindset:  Living in a foreign land or knowing someone who lives in a foreign land prepares you for the task of negotiating with foreign governments.

Clinton's were more like that but I think Obama is the PIMP who makes us, the public, the enslaved that he squeezes his living from for the socialist agenda.  They will bleed us of our resources, beat us down for talking back, yet not killing us since we are still useful.  Land of the free?  The new socialism.

He lived overseas, no doubt.

He lived overseas, no doubt. During that early period his formative education--forming his initial worldview-- was conducted in a madrassa in Indonesia. Whether that madrassa taught radical Islam or not, we do not know to the very day. MSM is too busy going after Cheney and Beck right now to spend time checking it out.

No citizen's right to life, liberty, pursuit of happiness, or property is safe as long as Obama is President of the United States.

Re Indonesia

In the Bamster's case, that's likely why he doesn't have a good handle on US History, because it's not emphasized in foreign countries like Indonesia, and what is taught is probably severely slanted.

Leisure traveling and

Leisure traveling and traveling in general don't make people foreign policy experts.  Tanning in spain, getting drunk in cancun, doing the legal prostitutes in Germany, and a week of visiting the sites in Tokyo never make people foreign policy experts.  It's leisure traveling for goodness sake.  That's like a pothead college roommate taking a trip around the world, in a totally intoxicated haze, expecting him to come back Henry Kissinger.

You only learn things if you "live" abroad as an adult doing stuff like missionary work, working for the CIA, hunting terrorists in the military, etc.

Also, living overseas doesn't give people the correct worldview either.

Yemen

I worked 6 weeks in Sana, Yemen several years ago. Of the 6 weeks I spent over 5 weeks in the toilet working on a makeshift desk. Though not an expert on Yemen, I saw more than I ever want to see of that hell hole.

If you think medical care is expensive now wait until it is free!

Politics has gone to the dogs

My brother has an Afgan hound so I should be elgible for some government position relating to the war.

Afgan

I am amazed he isn't the head of the CIA or already working in the White House. Do you know if he has a stash of ACORNS, then he would be up for a cabinet position!

If you think medical care is expensive now wait until it is free!

My sister

My sister has a greyhound...Guess I could clean up at the track.

Dang my brother has lived in

Dang my brother has lived in Japan for 20 years and teaches at the University of Tokyo.  Thats should make me qualified to be an ex squirt.

I can see Mexico from my

I can see Mexico from my bedroom window.

No, wait - that's just my hispanic neighbors.

Where is Tina Fey now that

Where is Tina Fey now that we need her?

Since when did anyone ever need Tina Fey?

"I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered."  -George Best

Hmmn. If Martha Coakely is

Hmmn. If Martha Coakely is the "front runner" Democrat, then I think we should all support her ;-)

Kennedy

Caroline Kennedy is looking pretty good right now.

If you think medical care is expensive now wait until it is free!

My state is a libtard

My state is a libtard cesspool already.  I dont care who it is as long as it isn't seat warmer for the @%#@$%$^$#%$ Kennedys!

A more qualified candidate

Please, ya know, bring back Caroline Kennedy.

You are all qualified but......

you have to be a Democrat. If you are running as a Democrat then it is okay to say these things. If you are running as a Republican then your blunder is played all over the MSM and you are done.

Also, I am really sick of Tina Fey. She is overrated. Because she is a lib and can look like Sara Palin and make fun of her she is great. If she were a conservative she would still be working the local clubs as a has-been comedian somewhere.

Bill Murray said in

Bill Murray said in Groundhog Day regarding piano skills:

...no, but my father was a piano mover, so.."

Can't make this stuff up, and can't find it at MSM.

Who is the interviewer?

The interviewer said foreign policy experience "is probably the number 1 job of being a U.S. senator."

Is she serious? This is a Boston television interview? I was always under the impression that the priority of senatorial responsibilities was this:

1. Oppose all Supreme Court candidates who might, just might side with an anti-abortion plaintiff

2. Oppose Hispanic nominees to lower courts--if they are Republicans--because they might later be nominated to the Supreme Court.

3. Did I mention opposing anti-abortion nominees?

4. Enabling destructive banking policies initiated in the House by a fellow Massachusetts representative to wreck havoc and financial ruin, while at the same time benefiting from a household loan at below-market rates (talk about "subprime"!).

5. Oppose all anti-abortion nominees. (I think I said that already.)
