Did we ever get any kind of confirmation at all that Joe walked off because of Maddow?

Yeah, now that it's blown up all over the place. It still doesn't excuse him from the previous twenty years that he sat in Wright's church - when it wasn't a public issue.

How is Obama going to shake this guy?  The biggest reason Obama can't shake him is because, deep down, he doesn't want to.  He my have to, for political reasons, but he's heard all this stuff before and it never occurred to him that this sort of rhetoric was divisive and hate filled.  He was sitting in church, listening the the reverend give these firey sermons, and heard the screaming and cheering and got into it.  Now, that he has a chance to listen to the same sermon, away from that environment, he suddenly has to say he was there, didn't hear it, it was just a small part of what the Reverend said, etc.

So now, after hearing the reverend justify the same comments, that Obama never heard, all of a sudden he's just appalled!!!!! David Axelrod is going to really have to learn the Jedi mind control trick.

Sometimes with Mika Joe has a spine of water, he lets her blather on and on... Other times he really does stand up and put her in his place. The show would be, and has been, so much better without her. But get Joe on another show away from her and look out. He doesn't look or act whipped.

And last year, Rev. Wright told the NY Times:

“If Barack gets past the primary, he might have to publicly distance himself from me,” Mr. Wright said with a shrug. "I said it to Barack personally, and he said yeah, that might have to happen.

And Wright "blurted out the truth" when he said Obama would
say what he ahd to say because "he's a politician." The fact that they
both knew this was coming proves it.

I don't care how many times Obama says he is appalled now, the fact is that both he and Rev. Wright knew a year ago that he was going to have to "distance himself" from Wright. It just happened sooner than either one had planned on.

And Wright may have spoken an unwitting truth when he said Obama would say what he ahd to say because "he's a politician." The fact that they both knew this was coming proves it. And Wright was correct...Obama did what he had to do, when his back was against the wall; not before.

SCARBOROUGH: He knew he had to do that. And Axelrod knew he had to do it. It's going to make a big difference.

That is it in a nutshell...time will tell if this is too late for Obama, but he does have Maddow behind him, that'll do it...just ask her!

I caught this all tonight, I also have most evenings, when Shuster is on I only half listen, but tonight I caught this...she never shuts up...she is getting worse at it with Scarborough...

I don' know how people at times can be in the same room and not explode at each other....physically at times..I would never make it in politics on screen, it would always have to be behind the scenes type of thing....patience is a virtue...something some of us have to learn in life as time goes on...my motto always was ...

Why is this not the expected outcome when the dhimmi's selected someone with '0' qualification to be POTUS and then went nuts when they figured out he can't speak three words that someone else didn't write without getting tangled up? This is just part of the continuing comedy that started when they put the clowns in charge of congress in Nov 06. They have accomplished miracles since Jan 07, like doubling oil prices and everything that requires oil based products, crashing the housing/stock market, putting people out of work and last but not least, destroying the value of the dollar. Great work for a dhimmi led congress. Destroying America, It's never been accomplished so fast in history. Now tell me he's not an Islamist, if not where is he getting a billion dollars to spend on a single campaign? Oil money from the terrorist, we all know it, half the country has their head so far up his butt they can't see it, or like little children they will never admit they were wrong. OK, from a TV regular in the MSM...Matthews, Olbermann....etc.

This may sound a little non-pc and I do not want to offend anyone with "retarded" mentally challenged family members. 

When we were kids (I am 43) our parents told us not to make fun of the retarded kids.  Because the retarded kids can not help their situation.  It is the same way with Joe and Mika.  She is blindly stupid and ignorant.  It is hard to be both stupid and ignorant but she pulled it off in spades.  I think Joe sees her get out of the "short bus" with her helmet on and feels sorry for her.  But his feelings are misguided.  True mentally challenged people can not help it.  They can do great things but their are of course limitations.

Mika does not have biophysiologicalnurological disorder.  She is just plain stupid.  Joe should not have any patience for this at all.  He should hammer her every time she opens her mouth.  The grunting and background noise that she makes is maddening.  You can see him at times wanting to just slap her.

This is why he was a fighter pilot, he is cool under pressure.  She creates tons of pressure.  They need to dump her.

I don't doubt Obama was angry in his denunciation of Rev. Wright today. But his tone was oddly affectless. In his lack of overt emotion, he reminded me of Dukakis's disastrous response to the Bernie Shaw question.

Mark, you touched on something that has been disturbing me… Obama does not seem capable of exhibiting righteous anger. I was looking at Anderson Cooper this evening when I heard Candy Crowley mention that Obama was angry today when he addressed the media. Then she made the offhand comment that Obama is occasionally “snippy” with the press.

May I see a show of hands as to how many out there have ever heard a presidential candidate characterized as “snippy”. Where is the guy’s drive and passion?

Oh, and the Left would NEVER dream of doing anything like that with anyone in the Republican Party, would they, Rachel?
