So, Anderson Cooper does not think it newsworthy that Barack Obama, a man currently seeking the highest office in the land, has spent the last twenty years of his life attending a church pastored by an America-hating, racist hate-monger, who incidently just happens to be currently advising Obama's campaign.

I simply can't believe this story is true! Believe me - I understand Anderson Cooper would say something this idiotic. But I can NOT believe Anderson Cooper is actually this incredibly stupid. Apparently so, however. Are you kidding me? Whether or not a candidate for US president attends a church that promotes black supremacy, yes Anderson, this is a BIG BIG deal! Whether or not a candidate's pastor is a blatant racist, almost a carbon copy of Louis Farrkhan, yes Anderson, this is also a BIG BIG deal! Where the he-double-l you learned anything about reporting is way beyond me! And I come from a tv/radio background of 13 years as reporter and producer. If it's not such a big deal, then why have the networks gone on and on about Geraldine Ferraro speaking the truth. Ferarro's comments were NOT racist. Jeremiah Wright's are! CNN has sunk to the absolute lowest!

It's not surprisng as Howard Dean says the same thing.

Howard Dean in 2004 was complaining that all Republicans do is talk about issues that "divide" American, like stopping abortion, not giving homosexual marriage a Gov't Seal of Approval, tax cuts "for the wealthy" and the like.

Instead, he said, we should focus on the issues that "Bring America Together" like Raising taxes on the "wealthiest Americans", (silently keep abortion 'safe, legal and "rare"'), (tacitly allow homosexual marriage become the law of the land by our silence), Univeral single-payer health care, the the usual litany of DNC talking points.  Never once did he get questioned on how the GOP platform "divides" while the DNC platform "unites"

To the leftist in the media the end justifies the means, it doesn't matter what the guy "personally does, or stands for" it's whether he is going to push the leftist agenda.

Just look at Wrights church as the black KKK. No difference so they can't even complain about that anymore. David Duke's Klan and Pastor Wright's congregration are equals.

Candy Crowley says Reverend Wright is "retired now" as if it were all just a distant memory.

Questions for Crowley:

Did you do your research?

Are you aware that Wright's resignation isn't effective until May of this year?

Are you aware that Wright is currently working for the Obama campaign?

Are you aware of anything outside your little bubble?

If you are aware, why don't you report it?

All this seems to have nothing to do with actual issues that the country is facing.

Anderson, unless you haven't been paying attention, Obama's campaign has had little, if anything, to do with the issues. All we have been getting from this candidate are some rather vague promises of "hope" and "change." And when we aren't getting that, it is "change" and "hope."

Perhaps one of you "journalists" @ CNN might consider taking a break from kissing the hairy behind of the DNC donkey, and trouble yourselves to actually ask the man some pointed, issues-related questions. Up to now, most of you "journalists" have done little but somewhat apologetically toss limp-wristed, pitiful Nerf balls toward the man.

However, asking a presidential candidate, regardless of party affiliation, pointed questions is what a real journalist would do. This means that we shant be seeing those questions coming from you.

Cooper is an agenda chasing liberal. He needs to have the subject changed in order to get democrats elected in '08. He and his ilk have been apoplectic since Bush was elected in '00. OK, I just caught a few minutes of "Morning Joe." Mika B. just has me reaching for the duct tape every time!! She says that Obama answered questions about his pastor a year ago, and this shouldn't be an issue!! So Joe says well it's different now, he's the frontrunner, so Mika says well that's the only reason it's coming out now, like it's a dirty trick. She says Obama has "distanced" himself and that should be the end of it.

So why is it that Repbulicans, and even other Democrats are required to not only "distance" themselves but "divest" themselves of folks like Geraldine Ferraro who make far less volatile statements, while Barack Obama is simply allowed to say "I don't agree with him" and keep him on the campaign?????

Good grief!! Do you think for a minute that John McCain would be allowed to have Bob Jones on his campaign, even as an informal advisor and just get away with saying "Well, I don't agree with everything he says...."

Is this guy going to continue to be Obama's spiritual adviser if he is elected President? If so, shouldn't that be of concern to Americans? Does anyone think he won't try to influence him in the White House??? And we're supposed to just let Obama say well I won't listen to him on policy, and let it go at that?

They should be hounding Obama to cut the guy loose from his campaign. And he should be getting asked, "Is this what Rev. Wright has been saying for all the years you've known him? How could this man be your spiritual adviser for all these years, if you disagree with what he says?

But they won't.

I'm sure Moyer already has an in depth interviews set up with Obama and Wright to expose Wright for who he is and to investigate what effect 20 years of listening to his views might have on Obama's approach to things.

Obama famously said that most people would be comfortable attending his Chicago church. I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for a reporter to revisit that statement now that the incoherent rantings of his pastor have been widely viewed.

Concerning Obama and "Rev" Wright, I am sure I am not the only one on this site who was told by their mama, "you will be judged by the company you keep". But then again, maybe Obama never got that good advice.
