The solution is don't abuse people and keep your mouth shut if you want to keep working.

She has struck the nail squarely without realizing it.   When Hollywood can't pull people into theaters I have always thought it is so obviously because those folks voluntarily exclude a majority or near majority of potential viewers because of subject or political point of view.

 When they have real success the word pixel is often in the advertisement.  How do you alienate millions with a cute story suitable for children?

It doesn't kill her career considering this movie wasn't a huge risk for the studio.  16 million dollar budget and it made 18 million.  And then there will be the video sales/rentals.  They'll probably break even or make a small profit.

 The movie was rated-R and marketed as a teen horror film when most of todays successful teen horror flicks are rated PG-13.  It wasn't part of an R-rated horror franchise either.  

 Where is her hate for "middle america" coming from?  Is it all for show?  Is she trying to endear herself to the left wing Hollywood whackos in the industry, hoping it opens up doors?  Is she trying to appeal to the same people who keep giving George Clooney work?

So I take it Megan Fox was going after all the man-eating, cannibalistic lesbian cheerleader fans.

Not the biggest fan base there, lady.  You might have reached more fans by dropping the man-eating, cannibalistic bit, and going with the more profitable, low-budget, San Fernando Valley-based film studios.

Apparently, millions more of us did what you didn't--look at the movie title and guess that the movie would stink, and kept our money.

Here is one middle-American and family that will not see or rent any more Megan Fox movies after that rude statement.

Was she type-casted for that role anyway?

I am never so proud to be a "Middle American" than when moral deginerates like Megan Fox open their disgusting pie holes.  To be set apart in from the likes of her makes my heart swell with pride that my parents obviously did something right when raising me.   

At the rate she's going, Megan will be a used up 'ho' by the time she's 25.  She has already defiled her otherwise lovely figure with a bunch of nasty, ugly tattoos (a red flag if ever there was one) - and they'll look like crap by the time she hits middle age.  The way she's going, she'll be a dried up, used up, old hag before the age of 30 probably living in a meth house somewhere.  All I can say is consider the source.  She's clearly a nutcase and that will lead to her eventual self-destruction.  By the time it's over, she will be taking life counseling advice from Lindsay Lohan.

Just take out all of the white trash, hillbilly, anti-gay, super bible-beating people in Middle America...

Her remarks kind of remind me of Sharon Stone's rant against Christians whom she blamed for the failure of BASIC INSTINCT 2. 

Yeah, apparently almost every major film critic became born again just before the movie was released.

Fox sums up a liberal mindset: they want us to disdain Sarah Palin and the "corny" values she represents, but embrace something like a "cool" movie about about a cannibalistic lesbian cheerleader.

It would help if you started performing in movies that are targeted above th 15 year-old demographic.  Lesbian cannibal cheerleaders?  That only appeals to those who are still going through puberty.

Megan, until you target an audience with an education level higher than that of a 5th grader, you'll appear to be as stupid as the movies you make.  I suggest you ether grow up or shut up, there are no other choices.
