Who honestly cares what these people have to say? Please, show of hands?

Listen, I get a kick out of these NB stories about the left 'View' but honestly dont take anything they say to heart. What qualifications do they have to give advice to the American people? The show is a joke, they are a joke. Wonder how it must feel to be wrong, misspeak all the time, and constantly make yourself look like an idiot.. oh wait i'll never know, i'm a republican.

these shows ever.  My only exposure to them is bits and pieces from the NB, internet or tv news clips.

I see the total left bias going on but when I read these comments by Hasslebeck  its obvious why she is there.  She isn't strong willed or smart enough to easily take down her View members and the View staff will keep it that way.

When she leaves the show, as they all do, Hasselbeck will be replaced by another weak conservative minded person, as programmed/selected who won't be able to get her point across.  This is all part of the programming.

Babs, Whoopie and Behar are all simpletons.  Imagine being paid to spout your ingorance all day every day and get paid for it. 

Says much about our society these days when flash is perceived as substance, perception is reality.

I used to have respect for Barbara Walters but she has really shown her true colors through the ridiculous program "The View."  If she really wanted to have an open and honest discussion of politics on that show, she'd try to get someone like Laura Ingraham or Ann Coulter to represent the conservative view AND she'd have more than ONE person who wasn't in lockstep with the far left.  Elizabeth Hasselbeck's only "credential" for being there is that she is not particularly bright and she is not a strong debater so she doesn't show up the rest of those dingbats for the idiots they are.  They wouldn't last five minutes against Laura or Ann or Lynn Cheney.

And Baba, until Rosie O'Donnell comes on TV and tells everyone she was WRONG that fire cannot melt steel (talk about an idiot!) leave poor Elizabeth alone.

Baba Wawa scolds Hasselbeck for never conceding a point while she says "You are the counterpoint."

Well, Baba, if Liz is the counterpoint why should she concede a point.  If she did, she would cease to be a counterpoint.

I'd like to see how any one of these View libs would do on a similar show where the other panelists were Ann Coulter, Mary Matilin, Michele Malkin, etc.

Barbara, if I've told you once, I've told you a million times, don't exaggerate!  (Old jokes are the best jokes, aren't they?)

As I recall, the original concept of the show was to gather four women with four different backgrounds and points of view to kick around news and cultural issues.  Inherent in that format is debate, or at least it's supposed to be.  So let the debate happen or get off the air, Babs. 

When you put the clowns in charge, don't be surprised when a circus breaks out.

I don't know how many women watch The View, but I'm guessing it's close to one million. So assuming this is correct, I pray that the women in this country are smarter than those in the audience, and the majority of the View Crew.

EH is attractive, relatively intelligent and seems like a pretty nice person.  The problem is she is just not a good spokesperson for the conservative viewpoint, even if she does endorse it wholeheartedly.  She is not a debater and only offers a weak retort to the mindless drivel that is spewed on that program daily.  Of course, I think she is smart enough to know where her bread is buttered; if she puts up too good of a fight, she might be out of a job.  Barbara WaWa is not going to put up with a too strong-minded conservative, not for long.  The rest of the numbskulls on this show could never survive a strong conservative voice, who would blow the doors off of their baseless logic within minutes.  Then again, I would think the typical person who watches this show would not comprehend a logical, cogent argument anyway, so it's all a moot point.

I will drain my savings account paying travel expenses for Sarah Palin to appear on this show and take Behar on face to face.  I have to say, I am not only disturbed by the sheer idiocy of the hosts, but equally disturbed by the sycophants in the audience. 

On a side note, why are contestants on an NBC talent show performing a song made famous by a talent show on Fox?  Sorry, I am not in my right mind tonight.  Wait, that makes me perfect to be a View audience member.
