Did you know Obama's "Green Jobs Czar", Van Jones, is a self admitted communist? Did you know audio surfaced of an interview with him where he spoke of incrementalist revolution? These extreme views are not even denied by the Czar. Did you have any idea he signed a document asking for the investigation of the U.S. government for orchestrating the events of 911? Did you know after bloggers exposed him as a conspiracy theorist he lamely claimed he didn't know what he was signing and did not hold the views of a government conspiracy? Did you know that after his denial more documents surfaced exposing his involvement in anti-war, and 911 conspiracy groups as early as 2002?
If you answered yes to any of these you can thank bloggers like Gateway Pundit and Naked Emporer News. They did the job the MSM should have done. Not only were they the ones that did the research and exposed this radical, but even after the truth was out there the majority of the media continue to ignore it.
If you were to rely on the New York Times, the Washington Post, NBC Nightly News, ABC World News, CBS Evening News or even all of the combined for all your news you would have absolutely no idea what we are talking about.
And if you were in the Obama White House monitoring the Jones situation, you would be hoping that the news organizations listed above continue to hold the line -- otherwise, Jones, who is quite well thought of in Obama circles, would be history.
It comes as no surprise the media are ignoring this huge controversy. After all, it could hurt the President's already tanking popularity.

But divulge information about a communist inside the Obama WH? Crickets chirp.

COUNT DOWN
September 4, 2009 - 13:00 ET by cvgbuckeyeI suggest that Newsbusters carry a daily banner that provides a "Countdown" to the fall mid-term elections of 2010.
Because I agree with Senator Inhofe and I am just praying that America can survive until then, until we can once again take over congress and try to save the America that millions of tons of blood were shed for. Shed blood that made this America a unique and wonderful experiment in the God given freedoms that God intended for his creations to enjoy. All these things are currently being assaulted by a dangerous enemy "From Within" that I took an oath to defend in this man's United States Marine Corps; AND I WILL.
If Newsbusters decides to do this, as of today, there are 431 days until the next mid-term elections.

Don't fret, FNC will report it regardless.

September 4, 2009 - 13:44 ET by Chris NormanI can't remember the situation, but I've seen them cover an event that was the culmination of what FNC and talk radio had been covering all along. In this case, they acted like it was something that they had been covering, although it must have come as surprise to most of their viewers...

Crafty tactic
September 4, 2009 - 13:46 ET by Sergeant ROCKInteresting.. so, the MSM can kick back and let FNC do all of the legwork and then use that information to report the story as though they were on top of it the whole time. Kind of like Dan Rather talking about Monica for the first time a full month after the story broke. Poor Dan..

Regardless of Jones future, the question remains, who signed off on him?

I suppose like in all evolution, once the thing no longer has a legitimate purpose, it begins to shrivel up and disappear . Now that the major part of the media no longer functions as what it was meant to be, it too will dry up - leaving only the few that still function as news gathering and diseminating agencies.
