Impressing CNN “American Morning” co-host Kiran Chetry is apparently a fairly easy feat to accomplish.

Pretend to urinate on produce in a stock room, smack your brother in the crotch with a beet, open and lick the contents of a container on the shelf or stand with a banana sticking out of your boxer shorts and that’ll land you a segment on “American Morning.”

“All right, so now you guys – by the way it was pretty good editing,” said Chetry in an interview with Mark and Matt D’Avella, creators of the “Produce Paradise” video.

The video also took a racial jab at immigrant Mexican workers and featured a doctored grocery store advertising circular.

The parent company of the store where the video was filmed, an A&P in New Jersey, did slap the brothers with a $1 million defamation lawsuit. But only a statement from A&P parent-company Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. president and CEO Eric Claus condemning the video was offered by “American Morning.”

Still, the show with “the most news in the morning every weekday” offered advice for the two up-and-coming video producers. “You never know there could be a bright side,” said Chetry. “Maybe Kevin Federline would like to star in your next video. You guys can produce for him over there in Hollywood.”

If it's trashy enough,

it's worthy of exposure on the msm!

Great journalistic standards!!!!!!!!

on FNC as well

It was on FNC as well with similar comments. I believe it was yesterday on Martha MacCallum's show but someone was guest hosting.

Great. That's all we

Great. That's all we need...a bunch of idiot college kids trying to outdo this and get on TV.

Welcome back to American Morning. On today's "Jackass" segment....

Really? This is important?

Really? This is important? First Billy Baldwin now decrying CNN's discussion of a "gross" video that FOX NEWS talked about too?

Toying with censoring ideas again balboa ?

Toying with censoring ideas again balboa ? Want to declare what content the writers must use - only with your approval of it's importance, of course ?

If I ever see an important comment from you, meaning one that actually has information I wasn't aware of, that would truly be worth the webspace. It has never happened.

balboa is in whiney mode again, next is "Why is this here?" , then "What does this mean ?" and finally " I don't get why this is posted".

I don't want to censor

I don't want to censor anything, but I reserve the right to say when an article is stupid, not to mention having nothing to do with political bias.

It's anti-business and

It's anti-business and ideologically liberal. "Look at A&P trying to stunt these young men's creativity for the almighty dollar." At least that was my take.

American Morning

I hear that the Jerry Springer show ratings are dropping...could be because all there 'guests' are busy making videos for CNN.

LOL SarahA... So true....

LOL SarahA...

So true.... so true!

What I don't quite understand

is how these people in the news can even show this stuff or bring the skum that produces it on the set. I frankly am not sure what world they live in.

I could understand airing it at midnight or later on a comedy show or something, but they want this trash on in the morning ?

Is this the result of the MTV generation that Chetry is actually one of ?
