This does tarnish the squeaky clean image a bit, but I'm sure the libs being the party of inclusiveness and acceptance will gladly understand and applaud the daughter for marrying the father and keeping the baby.

The whackos of the Far Left don't matter. They were going to show their complete lack of class anyway. The consider it hypocrisy to promote family values in the first place, so when a family confronts a problem within, all they can do is sneer. Instead, these are the tests of true parents. This is where love matters, and how parents live in the real world. But these nutcases wouldn't know that. 

Palin walks what she talks. She welcomed the baby. What did Obama call it? Burdened with a mistake? You have to ask yourself: which of these two represents your values? If you think Palin's pregnant daughter should abort the baby as a mistake or a burden, vote Obama. If you welcome life, however it comes, whether it's planned or convenient, then you know the difference.

This is what democracy and freedom really are. It's not a political calculation of what will please the media, but an honest look at what you really believe. Dictatorship is what happens when you follow someone else's values. Freedom is when you follow your own. And if parents follow their own values, they'll appreciate what the Palins are going through, and dismiss Obama.

Among normal people, this is a complete non-issue. Only the Daily Kos and DU nut jobs will make anything of this, and we all know that none of those bozos has a life. Indeed, given their aberrant personalities and poor personal hygeine, none of them stand even a remote chance of getting a girl pregnant, much as they would like to.

McCain knew of this fact when he picked Sarah Palinas his running mate. He rightfully considered it a private family matter and not significant to Palin's character or qualifications. We should all get back to the issues and spend our energy on worrying about the state of our country, rather than on the private life of one teenaged girl.

If one of Obama's girls gets pregnant when they're Bristol's age he doesn't want them punished. He admits that even a good parent, teaching morals and such, can't control the mistake of the child.

The contrast is he would want his child to have an abortion so she wouldn't be punished.If the abortion fails and the baby is born alive then he would want it to be placed in a linen closet or sink until it dies.

Bristol's child would be born into a loving and forgiving family.

I have to admit that I was not at all happy when I heard this piece of news. That said, I am sure, despite Obama's campaign stating that they would basically leave this subject alone, that his minions on the loony left will be more than happy to make as much hay out of this issue as possible, all the way to election day.

Are we to become silent hypocrites now to appease the left wing media ? I thought the Palins realistic acceptance was grounded in truth more than avoidance .

I suspect this campaign has the feel of a tit for tat sniping war from the left and the national press. They've got a lotta snipers and its deadly fire. McCains got to get in front of this and say something to the effect that life does began at conception and we all pray for the welfare and safety of the unborn child. It is now a living being and therefore deserving of our protection.

It's a shame that these creeps have forced Gov. Palin to give up her family's privacy in order to fight back against the nasty insinuations about her own pregnancy.  It's better that she release this information than having the liberals stalk her family and then come out with a "shocking" revelation about her daughter.

 Most of the time you go, "How could they do that?" or "How could they say those things about someone's child", and you never seem to actually come up with the answer. You scrupulously laid off Chelsea then you watched as liberals attacked Barbara and Jenna with aplomb. You stare in shock as the left pursues some witchhunt or other, that would have them impaling themselves on dildoes of righteous indignation, were they themselves being scrutinized in like manner.  But you still don't get it. You still persist in being the good natured joes you are.You still think that the left is just "different" and that "reasonable people can see things two different ways and no one is necessarily evil". Maybe you think that way because you're basically "good" and think everyone's like you. Maybe you're like Rick in Casablanca and just "misinformed", in either case, you're sadly and greatly mistaken. Reasonable people can't see the murder of children "two different" ways, if one of them ends up with dead children!  Part of the problem, is that you've grown up with a lot of false religion mixed in with the truth. We all have. "WE'RE ALL GOD'S CHILDREN", sound familiar? Of course it does, we've heard it thousands of times. The problem is that "biblically" it isn't true. In fact, Jesus specifically, in painstaking detail, taught the exact opposite! HE said in the parable of the Wheat and the Tares, Matt 13:24-30, with the explanation here, Matt 13:36-41, that many people on earth do not in fact belong to Him. That's why they can think that two men should call what they commit upon each other "marriage", or can think that the interruption of a developing life in the womb is not "murder".  If you pin one down, they can't even understand that but for their "intervention" a human being would be alive and going to the friggin' dry cleaners! It's like something clouds their reasoning. Well it's because only His "sheep" will hear His voice (John 10:27). And since He is truth, it is no wonder that those who are not His, embrace, spread, or revel in, lies! I realize that some will be uncomfortable about this discussion of religion but I really feel that it is in this province that the solution can be found. Maybe if you wake up you won't keep "bringin' a knife to a gunfight"!

See, it doesn't surprise me that an alleged Christian like Obama, would start preaching that "Jesus isn't the only way" ( Listen to the audio, here, http://blog.christoc...). He could have pointed out that he isn't a minister and that those questions are "above his paygrade", hmmm, why does that sound familiar? But see, he wasn't as cagey then, back then he answered the questions with his liberal satanic view of the world! So when,he as an alleged Christian supports infanticide or that he finds support for gay unions in the SERMON ON THE MOUNT, but can't seem to agree with all of the "obscure scriptures" which specifically condemn homosexuality,   (http://www.bpnews.ne...) I'm not surprised at all.  Have you listened to this guys Pastor??? The preachers religion is from Satan not Jesus! ( 2 Corinthians 11:13-15).  "Black liberation theology" teaches it's worshippers to hate whites, and Jesus said that hating one's brother is a "no-no" and earns you a quick ride to a hot lake (1John 3:15 and 4:20).  It's no shock to me that Pelosi would tell masterfully constructed lies about the position of the Catholic Church as it relates to abortion and in her version, it's the Church that doesn't know IT'S position! For the record the Catholic churches position on abortion is one HUNDRED percent biblical, contrary to some of their other notions which we could, but won't, expound on here! Nor sadly, does it surprise me that Alan Colmes and CBS' John Roberts, would now insist that Palin's a deadbeat mom for "abandoning" her special needs child.  They are after all, in most cases, just doing their fathers work (John 8:44) and as far as vilifying the daughter of a Vice Presidential candidate? Just another day in liberal land. Most of us on the other hand, really need to wake up.
