NewsBusters Publisher Brent Bozell Reacts to Ed Schultz's Apology to Laura Ingraham
Ed Schultz's apology was full, unequivocal and a breath a fresh air.
We wish Ed would have shown the same remorse when saying we should ‘rip out’ Dick Cheney’s heart, when he called Liz Cheney "shooter's little girl,” or when he said Republicans enjoyed watching people with cancer die.
MSNBC should have demanded apologies for the litany of offenses in Ed’s past.

Comcast executive hosts Obama fundraiser in June
May 20, 2011
The fundraising merry-go-round stops briefly in Philadelphia on June 30, with President Obama showcasing a high-dollar dinner at the home of Comcast executive David L. Cohen.
[...]
In an email to a group of Obama supporters, Andrew Wright, a senior consultant for the Obama for America campaign, wrote:
"For those of you who joined us this past Tuesday at [Comcast Corp. Executive Vice President] David Cohen's office for our first host committee meeting and for those who could not join us, but are committed to the event, thank you for your commitment to THE Presidential campaign fundraiser of the cycle in Philadelphia on June 30th!"

I will blame Ed the Red...
Submitted by adamsmith on Thu, 05/26/2011 - 11:09am.
I will blame Ed the Red for any violence by the left until the next election. He is spreading lies on live air to people that are as mentally unbalanced as he is. Comcast should be sued if leftists commit any violence until election day. MSNBC is the moral equivalent of yelling "FIRE" in a crowded movie theatre. Maybe violence is what the left wants. I guess that's why Obamalinsky even said to "get in their face". The left is completely unhinged at this point, they are the Domestic Enemy within......

He should be required to intern on the Rush Limbaugh radio show so that he learns that conservatives are people too, just with a different set of values than his. Or maybe Glenn Beck so that he learns what research really looks like?

Sorry Mr. Bozell, but I'm not buying into this so-called "apology." I don't believe it's sincere and I suspect it may have been written by others for Schultz to read on-air.
Exactly right

As soon as I read the text of the "apology", I KNEW Sgt. Schultz didn't write it. There were no grammatical errors, and it sounded sincere and intelligent, traits that Schultz does not possess.
Give him his due....

It was a straight forward, unqualified apology. No "Sorry if I offended anyone". Also it was a direct apology to Laura.
In an attempt to work off a few hours in Purgatory, I checked out the Huffington Post and read comments regarding Schultz's horrible comments about Laura. Not a single comment criticizing him and all criticizing Laura. Color me shocked.
Let's take the apology and move on.

Why anyone would elevate this pile of excrement's apology to anything nobler than that is delusion.

I believe Shultz' apology was sincere--for the moment. The media, of course, has already forgiven him. But, like the overgrown adolescent he is, he'll do the deed again when he gets the chance. Like most "liberals", manchild Ed can't help himself. Of course, if this were Rush talking about Rachel or Andrea or even Nancy, the lefties would be calling for his head on a plate. [Never,Never trust a "liberal" (progressive)]
The only way I can accept it

The only way I can accept it as being sincere is if he actually changes his tactics to cease using such vitriolic speech on his radio and TV shows. Only time will tell.

that bullies use name calling and inappropriate language either because they don't have the intellectual capacity to discuss things in a mature way or because something inside them is sad and broken. We pray for bullies like Ed Schultz. How can you not feel sorry for him? He is a sad man who will never be happy, never know a day of real contentment and never know inner peace.

The same place Bozell was, for example, when Savage screamed that "ugly" Madeleine Albright should be "hanged for treason": at work exposing bad behavior of liberals. There are plenty on the opposite side of the fence to expose the bad behavior of conservatives. That's not Brent's job.

You are a most tiresome liberal.
Have you ever heard the phrase "preponderance of evidence"?
But for the fact you are a liberal mook, I would ask - Surely you jest with these pitiful comparative examples?
