Schultz Slurs Schlafly, Morris, Liz Cheney

Liberals like to style themselves as being above ageism, lookism, sexism and judgementalism when it comes to sexual predilections.  But in one fell show, Ed Schultz managed to indulge in all of the above.

On his MSNBC show this evening, Schultz mocked:

  • 85-year old Phyllis Schlafly for her looks;
  • Dick Morris for the way he got his kicks; and
  • Liz Cheney as her "daddy's little girl."

Video after the break.

Schultz began his slur-a-thon by saying this about Dick Morris, after noting the former Clinton adviser's criticism of ObamaCare: "such a positive guy there.  That's what toe-sucking will do to you."

Is Ed sure he wants to make pundits' proclivities fair game for discussion?

Next, Schultz took a shot at the estimable Phyllis Schlafly.  Running down a list of conservative women appearing in the Great American Conservative Women Calendar, Schultz smirked:

"And Phyllis Schlafly.  Phyllis Schlafly? I hope that's going to be a short month."

Finally, Schultz took aim at rising Republican star, and University of Chicago law school grad, the brilliant Liz Cheney.

"There's a couple of gals who've been riding the wave of crazy that's been sweeping the nation's right-wingers: 'Shooter's' little girl, Liz Cheney, has been hitting the lecture circuit, parroting daddy's fear-mongering rhetoric.

My, my: how sexist and condescending.  Why doesn't Ed invite Liz on his show and see how his smarts match up with those of "daddy's little girl?"

Chance for a ratings boost

I can't think of a better way for Ed to boost his paltry ratings than to have an hour one-on-one with Liz Cheney.

Many of us here would gladly tune in.

And if you got the word out to those who enjoyed watching Texas beat UTEP 70-3 earlier this football season, they'd probably be thrilled about the chance to see another lopsided slaughter.

Schultz?

All I can think about with this guy is"Yah Voh Herr Commandent!" Liz would clean this moron's clock if he gave her a chance! Theres a better chance of the Cubs winning the World Series than that ever happening!

Schultzy as televangelist

Doesn't he look like one? But I'd be slurring televangelists from Elmer Gantry to Jim Bakker.

He tries to outdo Rush, but he just doesn't have the panache for it. Note to Schultzy (and pay attention, Keith the Sports Boy): it's not pronounced "pan ache."

Class all the way

This is why I never watch MSNBC anymore. They have nothing to offer except a constant stream of insults against conservatives.

Just wondering ... does anyone doubt that Robert Gibbs will apply for a job on MSNBC on January 22, 2012? If he doesn't get thrown under a bus first? Or if MSNBC is still around then?

I'm not sure Gibbs would

I'm not sure Gibbs would even fit under a bus.  The occasion might require the coinage of an entirely new cliche`.

Jer

edit.  I guess "coining a cliche`" is not exactly the phrase I'm looking for, is it.

Works for me

The endless inventiveness of the English language can't keep up with the nonsense it's required to describe!

I don't watch his show but

I don't watch his show but he has been trying to get his ratins up for some time now. Seems no one who could help him will come on such a show.

Book Polanski

(The other meaning of "book.") Hollywood and other celebs will tune right in, with Woody and Soon Yi at the front of the line.

Ed who?

Ed who?

Schultze!

I can't believe that this moron still has a TV show. Then again, PMSNBC is dumb enough to employ this jerk!

Schultz who?

Exactly, bb.

In all candor I'd rather hear Sargeant Schultz's opinions on current events than Ed Schultz's.  They'd be more relevant, they'd usually pass a sanity check, and they'd actually give a laugh once in awhile.  Even Mr. Ed has more of value to say than this clown does.

Ed is the...

...Jimmy Carter of talk radio and MSNBC.

typical liberal

hates women.....sexist pig. but Im sure hes p**sy whipped at home.

I actually discovered the other day that Schultz's radio show

Is carried on some tiny little radio station in the Greenvile, SC area. I don't know what other programming the station carries, because I was only in range of it for about 20 minutes. In other words, this radio station's signal probably doesn't carry much farther than the shadow of it's transmitter's antenna. I laughed so hard I nearly drove off the road a few times during the 20 minutes I could actually hear Schultz. Not because he intended his content to be funny, but because he sounded like that Applewhite dude that led all those people to suicide in that Heaven's Gate thing several years ago. Schultz was in a panic about Democrats who didn't have the cojones to spit in the eye of their constituents and bulldoze Obama's Marxist healthcare plans through congress. He was referring to Americans as being 'bumpkins' and 'brainwashed jerks.'

Since, I would assume, most of his audience is made up of left wing loons who apparently think the same way about middle Americans, it's pretty easy to see why his radio show enjoys much the same ratings as does his MSNBC show; in other words, very, very poor ratings.  When you put down the American public, and figures which the public holds in high regard, people aren't going to like you very much.

I wonder why more liberals haven't figured out that people just don't like elitists who look down their nose at the people who pay the bills in this country.

I can only come to one conclusion:  Liberals are idiots.  They are so idiotic, they don't even know they're idiots.

pinnacle of idiocy

> I can only come to one conclusion: Liberals are idiots.
> They are so idiotic, they don't even know they're idiots.

Sadly, that's just part of the human condition, and it bites every one of us in some way.

Liberals are just incomparably adept and prolific at it...

Wow

Let me get this straight: The man is out there every night, spewing the most outrageous venom imaginable, aimed at women, no less, and yet somehow, the Republicans, who actually fought the Dems to give women the right to vote, are the sexist pigs?

Maybe Schultzy should pop that oversized head out and get some oxygen to thate poor starving brain of his.

I'm sorry, but this guy is an expert at royal jackassery, and then MSNBC wonders why their ratings go down?

Shultz has to be the most

Shultz has to be the most wussified little moth ball attempting to be a big man that I have ever seen or heard...how pathetic does one have to get to make a deal of the age of a great woman like Phyllis Schlafly ...he is beyond making it to pond scum...that community would expell him as well.

He couldn't handle Liz with his one cell light on bright.

msnbc...he fits right in...no place like home.

'Doubling down on stupid is not a particularly good idea'~Breitbart

Toe sucking?

Really? Not his own, I hope...

Shutlz wouldn't even have success in another career

if he had the cajones to take on Liz Cheney for even 10 minutes.

As a FULLER mop salesman; His useless, rat infested, receding  hair wouldn't soak up the mess that Liz would make of him.

Heck, I don't even think a Dyson would pick up that mess. It's quite apparent that the studios of PMSNBC serve as the vent stack discharge from a nearby Burger King (no offfense BK) where everyone who works there intakes so much CO2 that they are permanently brain damaged.

I know Schultz would not

I know Schultz would not have a Conservative on his show to offer a counterpoint to the unbelievable nonsense he appears to spout off.  I have only watched him a few times when he had been on FOX News.  It would be difficult for a Conservative to not laugh at him to his face as he spews this crap.  I mean just sit there and mock him.  Now that would be entertaining television.

Mark, I heard your

Mark,

I heard your comment on the new 'Obama' song that recently emerged on you tube.  I was coming back from the airport and KTRH 740 AM here in Houston carried your quote.  Just thought you'd like to know, someone is paying attention.  Good Job!

Hi CR: Very cool--thanks for

Hi CR: Very cool--thanks for letting me know!  I did a follow-up interview on a sister station this morning, and was able to report that even after having been busted for having children sing songs including Obama slogans like "change has come" and "yes we can," the school district in NC remains defiant.  A school spokesman claimed: “this was not indoctrination. This was a lesson in American history and citizenship." Right.

ageism

Ageism is the worst among libs. Can't remember how many times I told libs that "he's old" was not an argument against McCain (not that there weren't others that WERE good arguments against him.)
