It's “a badge of honor” that Fox News Sunday is “the only place you won't see Barack Obama on Sunday,” host Chris Wallace proudly proclaimed during a Friday morning radio interview, DCRTV.com reported. Wallace's remark aired on the “Grandy & Andy Morning Show” on Washington, DC's WMAL in response to Andy Parks proposing: “Are you wearing the fact that the President won't be on with you on Sunday as a badge of honor?” (Audio: MP3 clip, 11 seconds)
President Obama recorded interviews Friday afternoon with four of the five Sunday interview shows, all but Fox News Sunday: ABC's This Week, CBS's Face the Nation, CNN's State of the Union and NBC's Meet the Press -- plus Univision. Though Fox News Sunday re-runs on the Fox News Channel, it's Fox's only news program and, unlike ABC, CBS, CNN and NBC, Fox did not air Obama's address last week to a joint session of Congress.
Wallace will have ACORN chief Bertha Lewis as his lead guest.

Completely agree. His smugness and arrogance are absolutely mind numbingly annoying. I can't even stand hearing the guy speak.

September 19, 2009 - 13:41 ET by gopsteveWhile Obama is geting his bottom kissed by ABCCBSNBCNN as he preaches to the liberal choir, I will be watching FOX.
Why should he appear on FOX?
September 20, 2009 - 07:16 ET by ApodicticFOX won't turn tricks for him - unlike his other media whores. He's just pimp'in his b!tches today. And, they can't get enough.
That IS the reason, Apodictic!
September 20, 2009 - 07:28 ET by goldenthroatIf there is any network that will not let him get off easy, it will be FNC. The softballers at the MSM nets will smile, giggle, ask him about his family, his dog, his golf game, ad nauseum and spend very little time talking about what really matters - the American people - as if he really cares, anyway!
I'll bet a steak dinner on it.

The Obama Watch, part 2
September 19, 2009 - 14:24 ET by mom_roxThis time President Obama was careful not to promise Chris Wallace an interview after being elected. The only way Wallace had Obama on the first time was because Obama had made a promise that was recorded.

DON'T WATCH
September 19, 2009 - 14:28 ET by Gat New YorkWe all know what Obama is going to say and we all know that the questions will all be predeterimined softballs.
So I urge everyone to do to Obama what he is attempting to do to FoxNews.
We should not watch any of the Obama interviews in order to make sure viewership of those shows is as low as possible.
Obama is trying to control the media much the same way Hugo Chavez has and he must be stopped.
0 won't go on FNC

personally

BINGO...
September 20, 2009 - 05:16 ET by danybhoymbuel,
It's all about marxist/statist/collectivist/communist/progressivism with Obama. That is all he cares about, & will take any road to promote it. Whether directly or through one of his lackies, he does'nt care how low the road.

Obama's "diss" of Fox News says...
September 19, 2009 - 14:42 ET by PrairieSkyvolumes about how thin-skinned, petty and childish he really is. This is not a reflection on Fox News...It's a reflection on Obama.
We're Fox News Sunday watchers in our house, and we're actually gratified that we won't have to sit through watching "O" lie, obfuscate and bs his way through the interview.
Wallace is exactly right on this. The fact that Obama has deliberately chosen not to appear tomorrow on Fox is a badge of honor, and reveals what an immature infant he truly is.

September 19, 2009 - 15:12 ET by jon_torlinYeah, Chris can say it's a badge of honor, but it's also an obvious sign of how much control Soetoro's got, I'd bet Rahm had a lot to do with setting it all up and probably told the ones that are doing it to do it or else.
It'll be just like his "townhall" meetings and pre-selected questions of his pressers where EVERYTHING is staged. Only that in FNC's case, they wouldn't able to stage anything they wanted to.
I'm worried that since FNC didn't want to play by Soetoro's rules that FNC might find themselves off the air. I've been watching them ever since their debut in 1995. Haven't watched CNN or anything else since then.

Fox's Chris Wallace Agrees Obama Diss a 'Badge of Honor'
September 19, 2009 - 19:20 ET by SilverFoxSilverFox
If the president had leadership qualities then he would go on FOXNEWS. Instead he avoids them thus his desire to divide Americans, not unit them. FOX is where most of the TV viewers are right now cause the others are not reporting the 'real news' that matters.
If you get 1 book this year, get A Time To Stand by Oliver. Get it for urself & a friend cause it tells what is going to happen next in America. I am telling everyone about it. It's an underground book on how you 'can make your own history & leave your own legacy for your children'. Read it!!

There's More Here
September 19, 2009 - 21:05 ET by slickwillie2001There may be more to this than we are aware. Perhaps an offer was made to Fox News and they felt that they could not accept the terms. We know from other interviews and from townhalls that the White House tries to micromanage any off-teleprompter events because they are terrified of what the Bamster might say. Maybe Fox would not agree to set questions beforehand, maybe they would not agree to keep certain topics off-limits, like ACORN, or Van Jones, etc. Maybe they would not agree to let the White House have a voice in editing.
We'll get a big clue to this tomorrow from looking at the questions asked by the liberal media. It's inconceivable that ACORN could not come up. Let's see if the Bamster can come up with a coherent explanation for why he pulled the missile system out of Poland. Will he be asked if he has ordered The Forehead off of the CIA case yet?
Slick, you just don't
September 19, 2009 - 21:20 ET by ThisnThatSlick, you just don't understand. You can't bring up missile defense, the CIA, ACORN, or anything other than health care tomorrow -- because it's racist to do so.
