CBS and NBC's evening newscasts on Thursday hyped Chelsea Clinton's planned speech introducing her mother, Hillary Clinton, at the Democratic National Convention. CBS's Vinitia Nair played up that Clinton "uses her mother's smarts and her father's flare." Nair trumpeted that "the girl named after a Joni Mitchell song, 'Chelsea Morning,' will finally have her night." NBC's Kristen Welker also touted the presidential daughter's "strong presence on the trail," and later claimed that Clinton is "already making her own mark on history."

Every slight is sexist, racist, homophobic, you name it, in the eyes of liberals. Case in point, the media’s overblown response to Donald Trump shushing NBC reporter Katy Tur during Wednesday morning’s press conference. Journalists on Twitter were aghast that Trump dared to interrupt a relentless reporter, while MSNBC’s Tamron Hall likened the exchange to overt sexism, in the age of the first female presidential nominee.

Wednesday on Morning Joe, co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski continued to marvel over the “obvious excitement” at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. While the hosts insisted there was no comparison between the DNC and the RNC, they continued to build up the Democrats by knocking down the Republicans. The liberal hosts painted a picture of an “excited” DNC filled with “history” and “emotion,” compared to an RNC laden with “empty seats” and “sleepwalking.”

If you watched Morning Joe on Tuesday, you would think Michelle Obama was the only person who spoke on the first night of the Democratic National Convention. Co-host Mika Brzezinski called the First Lady’s remarks “chilling” while Willie Geist hailed it as “the greatest in the history of conventions.” Co-host Joe Scarborough went so far as to say “her optimism and her hope reminded me of Ronald Reagan.”

On this morning’s Good Morning America in an ABC exclusive, Robin Roberts spoke to seven mothers of black men who were killed by police including the mothers of Michael Brown, Sandra Bland, and Trayvon Martin and why they were supporting Hillary Clinton. ABC gave two separate segments on their morning show totaling 11 minutes and 31 seconds and that was just devoted to the preview of a full interview that will play during tonight’s DNC coverage. But ABC revealed they only find the grieving mothers angle interesting when it serves their own political agenda, by their polar opposite treatment of Benghazi mom Pat Smith during last week’s RNC.

Over the weekend, Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz was exposed for favoring Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders. It was also revealed that she sent an angry email to Chuck Todd – headlined “Chuck, This Must Stop” – demanding better coverage on MSNBC’s Morning Joe after they called the DNC system “rigged” and Mika Brzezinski called for the party leader to resign on May 18.

Monday on Morning Joe, the conversation jumped from the DNC email scandal to Hillary Clinton’s VP Choice of Tim Kaine. Co-host Joe Scarborough insisted that the news on DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz and her inappropriate email etiquette “stepped on” the selection of Tim Kaine, but that didn’t stop the panelists from praising the pair as the first day of the Democratic National Convention kicked off in Philadelphia.

To kick off the Democratic National Convention, ABC had an enthusiastic Clinton fan and biographer, Gail Sheehy, as a guest on their morning show. If you remember last week, Good Morning America took a decidedly different approach when they brought on a liberal anti-Trump guest on the first day of the Republican National Convention. Anchors George Stephanopoulos and Robin Roberts sat enraptured as Sheehy described the Clinton marriage as some sort of epic romance out of a Hollywood love story.

On Thursday evening, the curtains closed after the final act of the Republican National Convention. On Friday, the Morning Joe crew spent significant time dissecting the highly anticipated speech by GOP nominee Donald Trump, who channeled the modern day fears of Americans. Willie Geist hyperbolized the speech as one where Trump painted “a picture of an almost dystopian, Mad Max America.” Similarly, Mike Barnicle asserted “you can’t cover the country in a blanket of fear.”

On Thursday night’s The Daily Show, broadcast live from the RNC in Cleveland, host Trevor Noah brought on another journalist as his special guest to discuss the Republican convention. Wednesday it was CNN’s Christiane Amanpour and Thursday it was former MSNBC anchor Alex Wagner and current Senior Editor of left-wing publication The Atlantic. During the brief interview, Wagner ironically criticized Donald Trump for something conservatives have long called out President Obama for doing.

Thursday on Morning Joe, co-host Mika Brzezinski made a prediction about the presidential debates forthcoming this fall: Hillary Clinton will “slaughter” Donald Trump. The liberal host said this only moments after she expressed desire for a “nice, peaceful convention” for Democrats next week in Philadelphia, contrasted with the current Republican convention in Cleveland that she believes has been consumed with “horrible, despicable things.”

During a brief period of political commentary between convention speakers Tuesday evening CNN took the time to discusses Donald Trump Jr.’s speech. Their comments were mostly positive, but there seemed to be some dissenters of the liberal media in the audience around their set. A convention attendee, who appeared to be a fan of the Media Research Center, crashed their backdrop with a homemade “Don’t Believe the Liberal Media” sign.
