I am the MRC's director of media analysis, and I have worked with the two Brents (Baker and Bozell) since February 1989 (with the exception of a stint as a White House correspondent for World magazine in 2001 and 2002). Brent Bozell and I wrote a book about the history of Hillary Clinton's promotional treatment by the news media called Whitewash, which came out in November 2007. In 1996, the MRC published my other book, Pattern of Deception: The Media's Role in the Clinton Presidency.
I am a native of Viroqua, Wisconsin and graduated from Bemidji State University in northern Minnesota. A fuller biography is here.
