On Thursday night, Fusion/Univision anchor Jorge Ramos met his match in Fox News Channel’s Kelly File host Megyn Kelly, who proceeded call out Ramos on his claim that journalists shouldn’t be neutral in their coverage of Donald Trump and wondered if he’d do the same for Hillary Clinton since many consider her to be a liar like some Latinos consider Trump a racist.
The panic on the faces of Clinton Foundation defenders grew more palpable on Wednesday night as the questions surrounding donors having meetings with Hillary Clinton’s State Department remained a part of the news cycle, so it was up to liberal journalists like Andrea Mitchell and MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews to defend and deflect these concerns as merely “political” ploys by Republicans.

Proving how the Clinton Foundation scandal has become increasingly difficult for the media to ignore, Monday’s The Last Word on MSNBC featured liberal host Lawrence O’Donnell and lefty New York magazine writer Jonathan Chait agreed that the foundation represents “a bigger problem than the Clinton campaign really seems to be aware of” and has been different than the set-up for another famous political family’s charity in the Rockefeller Foundation.
