CBS Begins New Year Drunk on Hype

Unfortunately they don't give you any perspective from the medical community or the makers of distilled spirits or beer. Nope, they just give you two liberal critics of the alcohol industry to scare parents with tales of stomach pumps and binge drinking.

Of course they wouldn't give you the whole story or both sides of an issue.

I've also been getting quite sick of the Thanksgiving "homeless meals" story especially in the Atlanta area.  For the last four years, some of those "homeless people" had some fancy clothes, jewelry and expensive cars.  This past year is the first time the local news had shown someone who actually looked homeless.
