My soon to be teacher at college this semester is a dirty liberal who won't let anyone get an opposing viewpoint across she's a twink peice of shit..
I will have more on this subject later
OK here's first topic of discussion...I was at work and this girl said something about bush and i said bush isnt that bad of a president and like a dirty lib she turns around and says "If George W. Bush isnt the biggest fascist dictator in US President History i dont know who is and i retort...well theres a guy named FDR who no one really like until WW2 since he was dictating American Economy...and he made it so he could serve another term...
This isnt much now but i would like some advice to debate liberals because this semester at school all the teachers are liberal and try and spread their liberal propaganda to the students i would like advice on what to say and how to handle their bullshit there will be more as the school year goes on you can count on it..... until then peace out

Best of luck my friend. Yo
December 26, 2006 - 13:48 ET by JerryBest of luck my friend. You face an uphill battle of epic proportions.
First of all, you are most likely dealing with irrational human beings who aren't interested in facts, but you must make them stick to the facts in their arguments. First of all, does she even know what facism means, or is she just repeating BS she heard from equally ignorant sources? Secondly, how can one be a dictator within our form of government with it's 3 branches and with Congress responsible for writing and enacting legislation?
If you want to irritate them, compare their own criticisms of Bush to their beloved Clinton. To be the "worst in history", he must first be able to surpass Clinton's tawdry record.
Iraq war? Clinton went to war with Iraq (Dec 1998) for the stated cause of "WMD", but his actual reason was the noble cause of delaying the Senate's vote on articles of impeachment.
Enron? Bush did nothing to assist Enron and "Kenny boy" Lay. Unlike Clinton who bestowed all types of sweet deals on Enron after "Kenny boy" attended Whitehouse sleepovers and made large political contributions.
Corruption? Sandy Burglar and the national archives. Craig "who hired him" Livingstone and the 1,000 FBI files. Illegal campaign contributions from Communists. Sending missle launch and guidance technology to China. Whitewatergate, Travelgate, Rapegate (Juanita Brodderick), Cop-a-feel-gate (Kathleen Wiley).
Lies? Clinton lied to a federal judge, not about sex, but to deny a lowly secretary her due process in a court of law (Paula Jones). He lied to a grand jury, lied to Congress, and lied to the American people on national television. He also lied about WMD, if you believe that "Iraq had WMD" is a lie. He gave us new phrases like "depends on what the meaning of the word is is". He taught our children that oral sex is not sex.
Throwing around the weight of government? Incinerating Americans at Waco. Assinating American citizens at Ruby Ridge. Ripping Ellian Gonzales away at gunpoint and shipping him back to a commie dictator.
Just tell your professor to first prove that Bush was worse than Clinton.

December 28, 2006 - 14:25 ET by Chuck CNI'm not sure what relevance Clinton has to George W six years after he left office. It seems that the Bush supporters--the few that remain--want to always change the discussion to Clinton...don't worry, in two years you'll have another Clinton to complain about in the White House.

December 28, 2006 - 19:37 ET by JerryHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! She has more baggage than a 747! I sincerely hope she is your nominee.
The reason Clinton's sewage backs up into these conversations, is because the dimwits that bash Bush have been sheltered by the MSM and the political educational institutions from all of the non-Lewinski related Clinton shenanigans. When you claim that Bush is the worst ever, you better damn well be able to prove that he surpasses that POS that occupied the oral office before him, and that ain't remotely possible.

December 30, 2006 - 01:49 ET by BlondeFirst of all, remove all that is personal in any argument.
Then, speak very slowly. Let your liberal opponent get it all out. Don't interrupt.
Then smile, and make one very small little point (must be pertinent, and easily understandable). Use words of one syllable...and a sentence of no more than eight or ten words.
Loop.
Loop.
Laugh....and walk away.
Join the grown ups. Forget about trying to educate the liberals. They'll either get it or they won't.

December 28, 2006 - 14:34 ET by Chuck CNMy friend, I think you need a refresher course in history. FDR was a very popular president, although the isolationists (including Joseph P. Kennedy, JFK's father) gave him a hard time up until the bombing of Pearl Harbor. He was a master politician. George W. Bush, on the other hand, is an idiot. How you can say George W isn't a bad president is beyond me. I don't agree that he's a dictator--yet. Give him time; his neocon frriends are working on it.

December 29, 2006 - 06:43 ET by CCCPwell i guess this doesn't matter at all"Right wing critics complained that the New Deal was infiltrated with
Communists. The most important group (in the Department of Agriculture)
was fired in 1934, but Whittaker Chambers and Alger Hiss went deeper underground. Outside government, the far left was exerting considerable influence in the labor movement (it dominated the new CIO), and was building a network of membership organizations. Thus the American League against War and Fascism
was formed in 1933 and, in 1937 became American League for Peace and
Democracy. There followed the America Youth Congress, 1934; League of
American Writers, 1935; National Negro Congress, 1936; and the American
Congress for Democracy and Intellectual Freedom, 1939. All had
significant Communist connections, and fought furious battles with the
anti-Communist left."

Co-worker
December 30, 2006 - 00:21 ET by Carl KolchakYou should ask your co-worker what she can tell you about Mussolini and facism. If she can't tell you anything about Mussolini, you should probably tell her to quit using the term facism like she knows what she's talking about. Some left wingers have an understanding of the word facist, but it seems as if many of them think it is a trendy word to use. If she does know about Mussolini, you should ask her why the Jews in Italy didn't suffer the same fate as those in Germany or areas conquered by the Germans. From the book "Debunking History" by Ed Rayner and Ron Stapley page 399 "Yet in some ways the Church exercised a restraining influence on Fascist italy. It could not prevent politcal persuction, but it was at least partly responisble for the fact that Fascist Italy never adopted the extremes of racism and anti-Semitism as practised in territories under Nazi rule. Jews lost their service commissions and were driven out of their professions, but that was as far as the harrasment went. Aware of the Church's disapproval Mussolini only proceeded against the Jews at all to gratify Hitler..."
