Question for NL207

http://www.newschannel5.tv/2006/11/2/30781/-Al-Qaeda-Leader--Materials-Smuggled-Across-Border

After reading/watching, please give suffiecient explanation for the Bush administration's stance on "Iraq being the central struggle for the war on terror", and "We're fighting the terrorists over there so we don't have to fight them here", and the signing of a laughable 700 mile border fence, and the SPP's plans for a superhighway with absolute free trade between Canada, Mexico, and the U.S., and why Bush met with Vincente Fox and Paul Martin to discuss this matter.

Ah, NL.  You never fail to make me chuckle.  I'm going to nominate you for the NB Hall of Fame.

Hey Death, what happened?  Did the orderlies take your computer away?

Or are you just a slow reader?

No, I'm still waiting for you

No, I'm still waiting for you to explain the information revealed in the piece, which you still haven't done.  You have only tried to explain the second part of the question by citing the administration's own words as fact, which doesn't count.

The 'piece' reveals nothing a

The 'piece' reveals nothing about policy.  It merely reports that would-be terrorists were caught after illegally crossing the Mexico-US border.  This is no different than the would-be terrorists who have been caught entering the United States via Canada through a port-of-entry, or from foreign airports as the 9-11 hijackers did and as Jose Padilla, who was caught entering via Chicago's O'Hare Airport.

It also does not speak to any situations where would-be terrorists may have entered the United States by any one of these means, or by simply walking across the vast, unprotected Canadian border undetected.

So what about this requires explanation?  Are you so confused as to believe that it is actually possible to police all of these points of entry well enough to catch every single would-be bomber who tries to sneak in?

Can you answer the questions

Can you answer the questions or not?  You still haven't explained the words and actions of the administration you defend.

Or did LibertyOrMeds get an early release from the asylum for Thanksgiving?

I have not defended the admin

I have not defended the administration in this regard.  Indeed, I am highly critical of its immigration policy.

I am not the administration's spokesperson.  The Bush administration has clearly explained itself and its policy on these points.  If you can't grasp these points, that is not my problem.
