For general discussion and debate. Possible talking point: Obama widens his lead.

After some tightening after the final debate, the polls have once again shifted in the Messiah's direction. Is the Fat Lady warming up, or is polling this year about as relevant as watering your lawn in monsoon season?

After all, this cycle includes age and race issues difficult to model, turnout impossible to predict, and cell phone only users that seems to be confounding pollsters.

With this in mind, do any of these polls mean anything, or are they when taken as a whole predicting an outcome scary to right-thinking Americans across the fruited plain? Assuming the latter, should the RNC begin spending all of its money in states with close Senate races in order to prevent a filibuster-proof majority?
