For general discussion and debate. Possible talking point: we risk a disintegration of global finance within days.

We face extreme danger. Unless there is immediate intervention on every front by all the major powers acting in concert, we risk a disintegration of global finance within days. Nobody will be spared, unless they own gold bars.

It is quite clear that many people in America, likely thanks to astoundingly poor reporting by a largely ignorant media, have absolutlely no idea of what's going on in the global financial markets, and what's behind it.

The British Telegraph has an absolutely must-read article today that accurately explained just how close things are to a total meltdown, and how the world's central banks -- in particular, the ECB which has been mismanaged by chairman Jean Claude Trichet for years!!! -- have incompetently added to the problem.

This is not just about bad loans, bad lenders, bad Wall Streeters, and bad government. It is also about bad central bankers. Do yourself a favor and read the whole thing.
