You can always count on democrats and terrorists to respond to the slightest insult with rage.

I think maybe Moore should be taken seriously. After all, he certainly has no problem putting together enough lies and half-truths to go after CNN. And there are enough people in the country who will believe him.

I've watched how he can turn things around and go on the attack. He's a master of propaganda and he has enough of a following to make an impact. Josef Goebles would be proud.

I will look forward to watching Moore's intifada against CNN almost as much as watching Mother Sheehan run against Nancy Pelosi and watching Al Franken implode in Minnesota.

Let's face it, Michael Moore is not used to the media asking the tought questions and actually doing some research on his movies.  He had it right when he stated how fair CNN had been to him in the past, never questioning his research, or his motives.

Now, if CNN could take on the rest of the Democrats like this, perhaps some of us would stop referring to them as the Clinton News Network.  In reality, this could still be true since, I'm sure, Hillary doesn't want people thinking about health care and her previous debacle.  So, who knows, CNN may still be taking care of the party that has no plan, to have a plan, until after the election.

Moore continues to build this Jesus complex where everything he says and argues for is the only truth and everybody that disagrees with him is wrong. That's a trait I've seen countless times in liberals. They get a vein of elitism and think they are morally omnipotent then revel in the ridiculous idea anybody could disagree and in their mind automatically be incorrect and therefore dismissed.

It is one thing to hammer Roger of GM as he isolated, terrorists at Columbine and George Bush singled out, but drug companies mean Rockefeller, Rothschild, Warburg, Bayer who have a long reach and will start demanding for their ads reporters start asking the questions of Moore he has never been asked.

Moore has kicked a reporter and now all reporters are going to start kicking him back which is wonderful as his only allies are Al Gore who has made millions off of fraud and is only using GlobAL Warming to get elected to the presidency and the Dixie Chics are just another crotch queen band manufactured out of Nashville who look like they rarely bathe and all they exposed on any issue is they are morons too.

Two items to chew on:

1. Was not that staunch anti-war, anti-Bush, gent by the name of Eason Jordan, who was the "chief news executive" (that was his title in the infamous 2003 NY Times piece.) In no sense do I remember CNN's coverage in the lead up to the Iraq war, being part of Moore's perceived "march to war," as a willing partner to President Bush. Anything but that.

Now, although this was broadcast on Larry King live, 3-4 months after the beginning of the war - not only do I doubt that CNN every played it again, and certainly few MSM outlets ever repeated it. In the end, I suspect that less than 1% of the left that opposed the Iraq war and that loves Bill Clinton, ever had the opportunity to hear not only Bill Clinton defend the Bush administration on his view that the damn WMD's were there (in his view), but more importantly, on Bill Clinton's view that we (the world) needed to support the effort to bring freedom and democracy to the people in Iraq.

I say this, because if CNN was a willing partner to President Bush, they could have done him no greater favor than by keeping Clinton's [wise, in this instance] words on the table, and hence silencing all but the extreme radical far left.

During this interview (much to the dismay of Larry King) President Clinton is seen defending the case that, in his view, WMD's existed in Iraq, good that Saddam's two kid henchman had been killed, defending Bush on the 16 words in the SOTU address, and trying to rally the American people behind the cause:

Personally, it is my view that had the media, during the first 2-3 years of the war, presented it fairly - while keeping all views on the table, in the public view for consideration and discussion - that this would have long been over now. Such a scenario would have taken the momentum and the will away from the terrorists and the extreme radical groups in Iraq.

PS - same for the Joe Wilson/MSM scandal to destroy the White House. If the public was aware of the facts, the other facts, the predominance of other views on the matter (many by folks that they tend to trust) - Libby would have never gone to trial - as it never would have been a story with legs, from the beginning.

I got the biggest chuckle out of Moore's assertion that the Dixie Chicks were doing the work of the press.

First CNN, and the other major networks, need to apologize to the American People for not doing their jobs and spiking economic data that would have allowed voters to know that the economy was already in recovery mode prior to the election.

Had the public known that before the election GHW Bush would likley have been re-elected.

To this day the Media still gives Clinton undue credit for the economic turn-around just like they ignored the fact that the Recession Bush had in 01 was inhereited.

What a pathetic post. Mr. Sheppard alleges---not once, but several times---that Moore is guilty of inaccuracies in his films, but he never once offers an example. I guess we're just supposed to assume that since this is Michael Moore, that assessment is self-evident.

And we're also supposed to assume that when Moore complains about CNN, he's complaining about that network "catching" his own inaccuracies rather than promulgating its own. Regarding Moore's comment about how CNN aided and abetted Bush's push for war in Iraq, Sheppard is similarly contemptuous and dismissive---without offering any counter-narrative, convincing or otherwise. How can anyone, at this point in time, dispute Moore's assertion that the major networks were indeed cheerleaders for the war and failed to ask the hard questions that might have prompted the American public to question the bogus justifications offered by the Bush administration? Moore is quite right---a lot of people would be alive today if these alleged journalists had done their jobs.

Yet Sheppard and some of his fellow conservatives still hold a grudge toward Moore for having the temerity to blow the whistle on this whole sorry chapter in our history in "Fahrenheit 9/11." Time to face facts, Mr. Sheppard. Moore was right and you were wrong.

You have to consider all the toxic sewage that builds up inside that behemoth as he tilts at windmills and breaks the backbone of every horse he mounts.

He himself is a walking advertisement for the need to treat both mental health and physical decay issues before they build up to mountainous proportions.
