Townhall.com's Josue Sierra's blog today shares with readers just how "SiCKO" the state of Cuban health care is.

Not every Cuban gets the Potemkin village treatment Michael Moore gave 9/11 workers featured in his latest documentary.

Looks like the perfect Weight Loss Clinic for Michael Moore. A few weeks there and he'll be as blade thin as a runway model, and I'm sure he will have a whole new understanding of the public health system in Cuba.

So why wasn't Michael Moore smart enough to figure out the ruse? Just like back during the Cold War, the Russians had "showpiece" homes, hospitals, workplaces, that they "showed" to visitors, and made them think that was the way everyone lived. What Moore saw was probably Castro's personal hospital and staff, with a few peasants brought in for effect.

Cuba's own little "Potemkin villages."

I don't know if I should feel stupid, or in a GMTA mode with Ken Shepherd. I made my "Potemkin Village" comment after looking at the pictures, but before reading the whole post; I just scanned it. Sorry... I didn't mean to imply that others needed more explanation.

I guess it's safe to say we can't rely on our MSM to locate or show any of these pictures to their viewers/readers. Sloppy lazy journalism, or not part of their agenda? I'd say a combination of the two.
