Update (14:25): Justin McCarthy has more analysis and a full transcript available here.

Update (13:50 EDT): Video (2:07): Real (1.55 MB) or Windows (1.3 MB) plus MP3 (980 kB).
Update (12:42 EDT): We're still working on video and a transcript, but here's the audio (980 kB).
Moments ago "The View" co-host Rosie O'Donnell found a golden opportunity to resurrect her conspiracy theories on the collapse of World Trade Center Tower 7 (WTC 7) as her fellow co-hosts were discussing Rudy Giuliani's presidential campaign. Co-host Joy Behar faulted Giuliani for keeping the NYC emergency command center in the World Trade Center complex. That's when O'Donnell noted that the command center was in WTC 7. This time around, however, token non-liberal Elisabeth Hasselbeck pushed back on Rosie's loopy conspiracy theories.
Stay tuned to NB for more.
Justin McCarthy is working on the transcript. We've been having problems with some of our video today, but we hope to have video of the exchange up later.
Update/Other blog coverage (13:30 EDT):
Ian at HotAir is also covering this development, with video. He adds a link to Popular Mechanics which, of course, has more expertise in stuff like metalworking and engineering than O'Donnell.

Where will we find a true conservative who is willing to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous media?

May 14, 2007 - 13:57 ET by SouthJersey1953Off Topic but responding to lnthomp's question - Fred Thompson would be a good great choice. Duncan Hunter, Sam Brownback, Tom Tancredo are others. The reason McCain, Guillani and Romney receive so much press is because they are RINOs. The MSM would rather a Dem win in '08 but if that doesn't happen, the last thing they want is a true Rrepublican. If they can boost the RINOs it will better serve their "mission."

May 14, 2007 - 14:03 ET by FastEdNice try Goth - it is true about the KR photshop team. Anytime you see red-heated steel, it's all done with amoke and mirrors, just like the moon landings, it's all been faked!! And, what about airplanes, while we're at it - it is not possible for anything that large, either a small two-seater, to a C-17 can "fly"! - I've seen the secret 3-d projectors and loud speakers that "make" airplanes "fly". They're really buses! It's one of the biggest scams running and it started long ago, buy a multi-corporate and multi-national cabal, who have had direct conversations with aliens - from beyond the Milky Way.
I'll explain more later, I have to take my meds now, I've missed a few today . .

May 14, 2007 - 14:27 ET by JerryEveryone knows that steel girders are harvested directly from the steel girder mines. Blacksmiths never made horseshoes, they just developed a way of inexpensively harvesting the existing horseshoes from the horseshoe mines.
Luckily, the United States had plenty of tank chasis mines and battleship hull mines, or WWII would have been a lost cause.

May 14, 2007 - 13:37 ET by taznarShe's got more scientific stuff that "fire never melts steel". I believe in her first rant she tells us if we watch the video we can tell that buildings "don't fall that way" (or something like that). Personally, I don't know much about the support structure of the building and how it was built to withstand the force of tons of TNT released when the main towers collapsed next to it, so I can't tell you how it should fall in any scenario. But apparently Rosie does, and she can tell something isn't right just by looking at the video.

There aren't any?
Huh...
I guess we’ll have to keep using the 9/11 example and state the obvious…that the effect is anything within the blast radius is totally f-ing destroyed... which includes the WTC 7 Moonbat theory.

Hasselbeck is a weak debater.
May 15, 2007 - 13:47 ET by whatajoyHasselbeck is a weak debater. I'd love to see Rosie go head to head on issues like this (her insane and foolish conspiracy theories) with Ann Coulter, Gretta Van Sestran or Condaleeza Rice on the other side of the table. Barbara would never do that though because she wants her side (liberal) to dominate the show with just a nugget of the other side (conservative).
Rosie acts like she is an engineer and knows what she is talking about. She doesn't. She just reads some unofficial websites and goes, huh, this sounds good, I'll shout this from the mountain tops as fact and act like I'm the end-all-say-all on this subject. People will believe me.
