According to the New York Post's Don Kaplan, Roseanne Barr is the early favorite to replace the deposed Rosie O'Donnell.Barr is no less of a liberal and almost as controversial as O'Donnell. If she were to replace O'Donnell, Barr would continue to tilt the show to the extreme left and fail to bring back the many viewers of "The View" who were offended at the numerous outrageous statements made by O'Donnell.
In a March appearance on HBO's "Real Time," Barr alleged that conservatives "liked Reagan because he's a confederate. [...] They worship him because he dismantled working rights for people."
Barr will bring a left-wing agenda to "The View." She admitted that she had one earlier this year:
Rosie O'Donnell brought a unique brand of deranged behavior to "The View" with her spouting of 9/11 conspiracy theories, anti-Asian bigotry and much more. Barr, however, would bring her own brand of stupidity. Back in 2005, she claimed she was "psychic" and also stated that she could "totally win out on" President Bush in a "mind contest."These people, they've got to tell us what we want to hear or we're not going to vote for them and I like kind of go sometimes, we need this may be the time in our history that we start a third party. A green party that's about solar energy and we vote for what we really believe not what we hate least but what we really believe. That's what our country is about. And we really should, like, exercise the right to vote for what we really believe in.

Garrafallo in addition to not being a terribly good actress is a humorless, Bush-hating DNC robot espousing wild left conspiracy theories on nearly every show. Her ratings on radio were nearly always the worst of all AA hosts (which really isn't saying much, I understand) Remember, this is a woman who actually said over the airwaves that quote:

I just emailed ABC to ask for a very strong conservative co-host to replace Rosie. I don't watch The View, but I probably would if it were more balanced. I reminded ABC that half the country is conservative, but The View has never reflected this. I know it won't do a darn bit of good, but I'm a capitalist and I believe a company can only improve its products and services if customers give them feedback. ABC probably won't listen to this particular kind of customer feedback, but I gave it to them anyway. You other NB'ers should email them as well--at least we can remind them that there are a lot of conservatives outside of Hollywood, and they're not even trying to get our business. They could probably double their audience size if they tried to appeal to conservative viewers with more than just wimpy Elisabeth Hasselbeck to represent our views on the show.

Personally, I'd like to see Kathy Griffin replace Rosie on the View. Kathy, like Rosie, has a strong gay following and has extreme leftish beliefs, however Kathy is actually funny. She'd be a light-hearted source on The View and would make people laugh, not anger people. I woudn't agree with her on most of her thoughts of views, but at least she'd make me laugh!
