I have just finished reading reading another commentary in the Sunday Bradenton Herald from a person who only has '1' side of the story to comment on...

First of all let me say the vast majority of the Veterans Groups across the FL Congressional District 13 area have and still do support our efforts in the Global war on Terror and our Freshman Congressman Vern Buchanan...

Secondly, playing 'politics' with decisions better left to the Military is a 'disaster waiting to happen', as was evidenced in Vietnam...

Didn't we learn from our mistakes made back then and why won't the mainstream news media and Liberal leftwingers allow the truth to be printed and spoken???

Some of the very same people who were protesting Vietnam are back again with their friends and 'siblings' doing the exact same thing they did some 40 years ago...

While people are free to protest and speak their mind, if you haven't a clue what you're talking about and have no contact with people who are actually IN Iraq or Afghanistan, then all you can do is form your own 'opinion' of what you read in the papers and hear on the TV and Radio news...

For those of us who actually speak to the Military IN the AOR's where the fight against Radical Islam is taking place, we consistantly are getting a different story each and every day...

Unfortunately, the real truth of what is taking place inside Iraq and around the World in the War on Terror is NOT being told to the American people. That is being left up to Blogs, Commentators, Editorialist's and people like myself to tell the 'truth' others do not want you to hear about...

New Schools, Hospitals, Roads, Bridges, Water Purification and Power Plants, new communications technology including bringing telephone and cell phone service to areas who never had it before and rebuilding the Iraq infrastructure from the 'ground up' in a lot of cases...

Of course the Leftwing doesn't want you to hear about these kind of things that help tens of thousands of Iraqis live a better quality of life each and every day...

I talk to Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guard personnel all across the Globe on a daily basis and have had many interviews of our brave Military men and women on my Show telling all who can hear what is 'really happening' in the fight against radical Islamic Terrorist's who are sworn to ours and the entire Free World's destruction...

Unfortunately, death and terror 'sells' and that's what the majority of the news coming out of Iraq happens to be...

Iraq is dangerous, Afghanistan is dangerous, the entire Middle East region is dangerous, but not just because of the USA being at War with Radical Islamic Fundamentalist Terrorist's...

People need to call this exactly what it is, a fight between Christianity and Radical Islamic Terrorist's who would like nothing more than the spread of their Religion and Shari'a Law all across the Globe...

We also all know that if these people get their way without being stopped, Israel could also be destroyed and the War as we know it today would intensify to levels not currently known...

The Radical Islamic Fundamentalist Terrorist's have proven they will stop at nothing to achieve these means and Americans need to wake up to the FACT that we can not negotiate nor appease these Radical's...

We must give our Military the tools they need to defeat the Terrorist's whenever or wherever they show their ugly faces...

Senator Harry Reid saying, "the war is lost," is another example of someone who has NO clue what's at stake here. He has drawn the rath of thousands of Veterans in his own Home State of Nevada who are currently bombarding him with email, faxes, letters and phone calls for his absolutely outrageous comments...

And as far as Christine Jennings goes in the FL-13 race, she had her chance to be endorsed by Veterans in the area but she would NOT sign a pledge willing to work to help our Veterans get their mileage allowance raised from .11 cents per mile to a more reasonable figure that would actually help pay the travel expenses involved in seeking Veterans treatment. In fact, NO Democratic Candidates signed this pledge, not even FL Senator Bill Nelson (D), a Veteran himself...

ALL the Republicans did sign this pledge and Veterans once again can't wait to vote against Ms Jennings 'if' she choses to run again against our FL-13 Congressman Vern Buchanan, who has proven to be a man of his word and a Representative for all residents...

May God continue to bless America and ALL of those who defend, protect and serve her keeping all of us, FREE & SAFE...
