Here's a little lighthearted item to punctuate the serious news of the past day.
"The View" co-host Joy Behar appeared on today's "Martha Stewart Show" to help the program's host make piñatas from scratch. The final product: a piñata emblazoned with Rosie O'Donnell's photographic image.
For what it's worth, Behar insisted in a Q&A session with the audience that the heated discussion on-set doesn't translate to off-camera animosity.
But then again, piñatas are meant to be broken...

What bothers me about this is
April 17, 2007 - 10:58 ET by mattmWhat bothers me about this is that people are actually making money with this garbage - it like kindergarten for adults....
Twins?
April 17, 2007 - 12:46 ET by cvgbuckeyeThere is something that has been bothering me. Does anyone ever recall having seen Rosie and Lou Costello on the same screen; hhhmmmmm. Of course, I guess though Lou has been deceased for some time.
Although.........I can remember some Abbot & Costello movies being made in the jungle and I JUST WONDER,,,,, hmmmmm, Lou seemed to be pretty friendly with one of those wart hogs,,,,, hmmmmm and then he also seemed to take a shine to a rhinocerus in one film,,,,, or was it an elephant. Oh well, its been a long time ago.

April 17, 2007 - 11:00 ET by bigtimerWouldn't want Elizabeth Hasselbeck to take the first swing at it she would be afraid she may break it!
Wouldn't want any animosity now would we?

BT,I was always less enthusia
April 17, 2007 - 11:34 ET by Chris NormanBT,
I was always less enthusiastic than others when Hasselbeck's rejoinders were mentioned here. I always found them pretty ineffectual. I suppose, next to O'Donnell (I refuse to use the familiar "cute" name for her - she's a bear), any opposition is welcome. However, her weakly delivered tepid opinions barely qualify as oppostion to O'Donnell the Steamroller...

Today on "The View."
April 17, 2007 - 11:15 ET by RJSpeaking of Rosie, I knew the anti-gun sh*t would be flying today, so I tuned in "The View."
Sure enough, Rosie the tent model was in full hypocrital form, claiming that she's been fighting for more gun control for years, but she's "given up." She says "we can't win against the NRA because they're organized, they have weapons and they're scary."
True to form, Hasselbeck didn't question Rosie about her own armed bodyguards...... ;^>
Time for Rosie to go on anoth
April 17, 2007 - 11:18 ET by bigtimerTime for Rosie to go on another Million Mom March... eh RJ?
I wished she would march herself into the nearest looney-bin...oh say in Europe somewhere, they love her there most likely...and take her whole crew with her while she's at it.

April 17, 2007 - 14:40 ET by tumbler_2007I'd wear clear plastic, just for a chance at one swat. It won't be sweets coming down like gumdrops.
I'm prolly the only guy who ever defended Martha Stewart. Now she shows up on The View. Lord, how disillusioning can it get?
