Con Artist’s & The Internet…

SARASOTA, FL. (NS) –

You’ve all heard the statement before, “Let The Buyer Beware,” but now add “Businessman Beware” to that when dealing with anybody out on the Internet…

After starting a business and broadcasting relationship back in December of 2006 with an Internet Radio Station entitled “WIRN Online,” which stands for The World Internet Radio Network out of Iowa, I have also become a ‘victim’ of deceptive business practices which could result in criminal charges being placed against the owner of WIRN, James Bryant aka Tim Bryant…

I started out running PI Ads which you’ve all heard on Radio and TV Stations across the Country. These Ads are run on a contingency basis where phonecalls are made to numbers provided in the commercial spots which pay the station or program playing them a certain amount of money as a commission for playing the ads…

Mr James ‘JB’ Bryant started to encourage me to run 2 and then 3 of the PI Ads during my radio show, “The Captain’s AMERICA,” which meant I lost 3 minutes of air time and the chance to ad additional sponsors everytime I played his PI Ads for which I was to be paid $15 and $20 per phonecall made…

Initially I was provided information showing monthly revenue coming in which had exceeded $200 per month and as of the beginning of February $290 was the revenue owed me based on the increased presence of these PI Ads being on a radio station…

Since then I have seen no records and have no idea how much money is owed because that information has been kept from me by WIRN Online...

Then suddenly everything changed when a series of emails, later proven to be outright LIES were sent to me with all sorts of excuses for no check being sent. You can only imagine what the excuses might have been, but the check was supposedly sent 3 times including once by USPS Priority Mail and a tracking number supplied me by James ‘JB’ Bryant was not even in the USPS system…

I then turned from businessman to investigator when I started to receive emails from a person who identified themselves as James ‘JB’ Bryant’s brother named ‘Tim’ Bryant…

‘Tim’ immediately started by apologizing for past business practices of his ‘brother’ JB, and promised he would check into the PI Ads and make payment to those owed ASAP…

Some 2 weeks later he came up with some numbers which I agreed to. At that point I learned WIRN Online, The World Internet Radio network, did not have a DBA and was not registered as a business in their hometown of Burlington, IA…

I then proceeded ‘Tim’ Bryant how to go about obtaining his DBA and told him he needed to do that before any further business dealings could go on between my radio show and WIRN Online…

‘Supposedly’ Tim got his DBA and I was told it would be sent to me along with my ‘check’ for the revenue I had generated by playing the PI Ads on my radio show via FEDEX…

I not only called the County Clerk’s office in Burlington, IA. but also did daily internet searches in the IA. Business Directory watching to see if a DBA had been filed for WIRN Online or The World Internet Radio Network…

As of Friday the 13th of April, no DBA had been filed for anything related to James ‘JB’ Bryant. Tim Bryant, WIRN, WIRN Online or The World Internet Radio Network…

When the FEDEX envelope arrived, it had NO check in it and a CD plainly marked VM Underground Files which is another show playing on WIRN Online and has its roots somewhere on the West Coast of Florida, owned by one Vic Mendoza…

My good friend, ‘JR’, a 26 year Police officer in MA. And I are the victims of this SCAM to which we have documents showing over $2,000 in revenue being received by WIRN Online, of which our shows were due revenue, for which to date we have received ‘0’ dollars for and have obviously been LIED to by a group of Con Artist’s…

In addition the IP addresses from ALL the emails received as well as phonecalls made to me come from the same person who started the business relationship with me, James 'JB' Bryant, of WIRN Online. This continues even after the 'brother' Tim Bryant stepped in to take over WIRN Online. Interesting, huh???

As a result of this, both ‘JR’ and I have taken our shows off WIRN Online and are starting the legal process against them for their deceptive and illegal business practices…

My point for writing this article is to WARN all of those in Internet land who have shows and are looking for places to play them, to stay AWAY and have NOTHING to do with the Con Artist’s and liars at WIRN Online…

We have NO idea how many others have been duped by this individual and his merry band of thieves, but we know it’s probably more than just ‘JR’ and myself…

Initially I will be going thru Small Claims Court with the evidence I posess including printed email and IM messages stating everything I've previously mentioned, to obtain a Legal Judgement against WIRN Online...

We will keep you abreast of what transpires here with what could wind up being a Felony investigation of James ‘JB’ Bryant, Tim Bryant, WIRN, WIRN Online and The World Internet Radio Network…
