I have to agree with you wholeheartedly. Sure I'm happy to see Imus go but not under these conditions. I would have prefered to see normal market forces push him off the air. As has been pointed out, the left will now use this to control free speech issues. I'm afraid it's about to get real ugly!

First I wish Jon Corzine a full and speedy recovery.

Now similar to the responsibility a parent has to a child, Jon Corzine has a responsibility to the people of NJ. Not wearing a seatbelt is very irresponsible. Second NJ does not have an adequate succession plan. This is akin to a parent not wearing a seatbelt and not having life insurance or a will.

NJ does not have a Lt. Governor. So when something happens to the Gov the president of the Senate also serves as Governor. So much for checks and balances. Legislation was passed and NJ will have a Lt. Governor in
2009 (?).

So just like after the McGreevy disgrace our Governor becomes Dick Codey while he maintians his role as president of the Senate. He will not be "Acting" Governor. The last time he was "Acting " Governor he decided he did not like that and had the acting removed. So again we have somebody running NJ that was not elected to do so.

I am sure this comes across as harsh but I am mad. I am mad that someone is running this state who was not elected to do so. I am mad that the governor was so irresponsible.
