When Is Enough, Enough???

Sunday March 25, 2007... SARASOTA, FL. (NS) - First let me say that I talk to Military personnel every day of the week via email and telephone stationed all over the World... The one thing I hear all of them saying is they "want to finish their mission" in the War on Terror... Now, why is their message going on 'blinded ears' of the Democrats who say that they "support the Troops?"... There's only one reason, "POLITICS." Yes indeed, Politic's has once again reared its ugly head and entered into the War on Terror... The recent vote in Congress on a Bill that would have all of our Troops out of Iraq with in '1 year' has passed the House of Representatives by a mere 6 votes... This vote was not a vote in support of our Troops or their mission, it was a passage of a measure of 'defeat' that could and will result in the death's of thousands of Iraqi citizens, if not vetoed by President Bush... What do ANY of you think will happen to the 12 million Iraqi Citizens who proudly showed their purple thumbs and there is a record of having voted for the first time??? Wake up America! Our Military needs to be allowed to do their job to reduce the World of the immediate 'threat' posed by the very people who the Anti-War crowd is helping to 'embolden' with their actions and words... I did not use those words sparingly either, that is a very FACT now occurring across the Islamic World because they view America as not having the 'guts' to finish the job they started in the War on Terror... The Democrat's think they received 'carte blanche' from the American people during the 2006 Mid-Term Elections. I can tell you that they did NOT... The majority of the people I hear from tell me that they were 'upset' with our Leaders and the direction of the War on Terror... The Military and Veterans I have spoken to want this War fought as a War and we're in it to WIN it all the way... Now we all know there are 'some' who want the Troops brought Home and the War on Terror stopped, but think about the consequences of this and how many people 'actually' want this... This is all a Political Ploy to keep our Military from completing their mission and ending the Radical Islamic Terrorist's who are sworn to our destruction as a Nation... Is there any reasonable thinking person out there that really believes we can talk to these people??? These Terrorist's would rather die trying to kill as many of us as they could, than to discuss or talk about anything except the fact that we are the Infidels who must be killed and Islam must rule the World according to their own Religious belief... This is what we and ALL of the Free World are faced with and there's no turning back unless you want to see what's been going on in Baghdad's streets going on right here in America... Terrorism knows no boundaries, and thus far President Bush and the Department of Homeland Security and our Military have been doing a fantastic job of keeping the Terrorist's from attacking us again on our Home soil... In fact it has been over 7,800 days since the attacks of September 11th, 2001 that killed over 3,000 people... Unfortunately that list grows every day with the onset of various illnesses befalling our brave First Responders to the World Trade Center and Pentagon... Talk to a 'Progressive Liberal' who is not always a Democrat and just listen to their reasoning for why they want us out of Iraq. Then ask them one question... "Would you rather fight the Radical Ismlamic Terrorist's over there, or fight them HERE?"... They do NOT believe that could or would happen. In fact they believe we have created more problems for ourselves by facing the Terrorist's 'head on' on their own soil... Only a fool would believe such a thing. Ask the 12 million Iraqi people who voted for the first time what they think... Is Iraq ready to go it alone? Not yet, but they are rapidly getting to where they can and will defend themselves against Terrorist's operating in their own Country... Does that mean our Troops will be ready to leave in 6 months, 1 year, 2 years or more? Just take a look at Germany where we still have Military Bases today some 50+ years after WWII... Strategy is everything and that changes with what you're faced with. Our strategy has worked and is still working and progress IS being made in Iraq. Anyone who says differently is simply 'lieing'... The statistics prove the Troop Surge IS working and Iraqi Military and Police Unit's ARE steeping up as was evidenced in Basra when the British sent 1,500 Troops home who weren't needed because of just that instance... As the Iraqi's stand up, we stand down. That's the fact and there are 'some' with Political and 'personal' agenda's who just don't want you to know the truth of the matter... If you have any further doubts I would strongly suggest you start reading the Daily DOD News coming out of the War on Terror zone... And start listening to the interview's with live Military men and women who are inside the War on Terror risking their lives everyday so people here are free to debate and discuss... If it hadn't been for the brave men and women of WWII, 'The Greatest Generation', we all might have been speaking German today... It is the Veteran, past and current, who have given us the rights and liberty we all enjoy in the United States of America... For those who have not served and do not know what it is like to stand up and fight for your Country, you have NO idea what you're talking about... How soon 'some' people forget who it is who gives you your freedoms to enjoy here in America... May God continue to bless America always in ALL ways...
