CASE IN POINT: Last night Wolf Blitzer was interviewing Bill Bennett about Republican Presidential candidates and Fred Thomson's name came up. Blitzer had a major brain fart and said" Yes, Fred Thompson has all of these conservative views BUT HE IS STILL A VERY LIKEABLE GUY"
CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!!!! I'll bet you a months wages that unless he would read this post today, he would be UTTERLY CLUELESS of the real meaning of what he said and how it totally betrayed his ENTIRE perspective on politics, regardless if he never uttered another word in his life (we should be so lucky). He is CLUELESS as to how he goes about the business of slanting the news EVERY WAKING DAY OF HIS LIFE.
I really doubt that any liberals at all picked up on what we said. Tell me where I am wrong here.

Wolf Blitzer truly believes Conservative Republicans are evil. They oppose everything he stands for and are in the way of everything he wants. Now if you read him that comment today he either LIES and says it wasn't biased or apologizes (which is another lie) or admits his true feelings or in true Decratic fashion cleverly changes the subject to avoid answering the question. A lie detector test only give you 2 options. Yes or No. So he fails the lie detector test.

But worse, they are your co-workers, your neighbors, your "friends". They walk among us and hate you for what you believe. They give no quarter. Agree with them or be hated. As for the 8 who were fired by Bush late in his second term, which was unprecedented both for its timing and for its attempt to influence the behavior of its US Attorneys, they had, to the best of my knowledge, all received AT LEAST excellent grades in their performance reviews, and, at least one, McKay in Washington state was graded Superior in his last performance review. None were ever evaluated as incompetent.
The story here is what type of illegal partisan behavior did the other 85 attorneys engage in in order to keep their jobs.

These are also political appointments, it's not like the local office puts a want-ad in the paper for them. Now, they should be fair, and within the law, when processing a case, but they should also be looking into things the President feels are important. If there is election fraud, and the President says he wants the attorney in that area to investigate it, it should be investigated.
It goes without saying that no one should be asked to break the law, or to do anything unethical. If that were to happen, the attorney should quit. That didn't happen either.
The Democrats are throwing straw into the wind and the MSM is making sure it stays out there as long as possible.
