March 7, 2007 - 22:31 ET byI don't understand why the reporter first paid him the money and then asked for it back. That part is confusing. Did he figure on asking for it back, from the get-go, in order to post the story? If so, then it sounds like he tricked the kid. I don’t get it. And logic says that for the grandmother to have paid it for the kid, that she must have thought her grandson could get into trouble if it did not get paid back. I think there is more to this than just that he paid a source. –Just my thoughts…
