MRC's Graham On 'Your World with Neil Cavuto'

MRC Director of Media Analysis and NewsBusters Senior Editor Tim Graham appeared on the March 2 Your World with Neil Cavuto. Graham discussed how former Vice President Al Gore insists that presenting a balanced debate on global warming is actually biased.

The MRC's Business & Media Institute (BMI) recently issued a new Web page, "Climate of Bias," that links to previous MRC, BMI, and CNSNews.com coverage on the media's biased reporting on climate change.

Hey, isn't this a recycled picture of Tim? We have it hanging over the fireplace...

Al Gore, please stop talkin

Al Gore, please stop talking. You're contributing to Global Warming.

Nah, it's a fresh photo, no

Nah, it's a fresh photo, not a file photo. I suppose he just ages gracefully.

Tim, did you say Gorewellian?

Tim, did you say Gorewellian? (sp)

 LOL!

Excellent points about bringing out the tapes from Gore from the late eighties early nineties and what has not happened that he claimed was going to by now. He is as phony as wax fruit.

Right on Tim. It's too bad so

Right on Tim. It's too bad so many people's memory in this country goes back to only 2006 (if that). If enough people were aware of what libs and Dems said in the past then they'd be aware of the many contradictions. Of course Dems even contradict themselves as often as day to day some times (eg. Algore at the Oscars saying gw isn't a political issue and then three days later saying it's the most important political issue of all time) but people still don't get it (admittedly, some don't want to get it).

That recent line by Algore, "balance as bias" is yet another one of his deserving of inclusion in the idiotic statements hall of fame. One thing that puzzles me, though. Why is it that Bush and the Republicans rarely if ever say anything about all of these ridiculous, contradictory, outrageous, etc. lines made by Gore, HiLIARy, Obama, etc.? I mean, let's suppose Cheney, for instance, had said the media should not show any balance but rather report only what supports conservatism or else it is biased because of showing balance. Do you think only liberal talk show hosts, bloggers, columnists, etc. would be hotly criticizing him? No, Democrats in Congress like Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, HiLIARy, John sKerry, etc. would be making negative comments. As they would if Laura Bush said it's not fair game to criticize her husband. As they would if Rudy Guiliani told the poor they can afford to give his campaign at least $5 (like Obama did).

It's always been a mystery to me as to why Bush and the GOP in Congress seem so afraid to speak out against the Democrat garbage, as well as standing up for themselves and their principles when the Dems viciously malign and misrepresent them to the American people. What is there to be gained by keeping silent anyway? It's not like that makes the Dems hate them any less (the Dems continue to make it abundantly clear that they hate Bush and the GOP even more than they do the muslim terrorists). So my point always has been: It's clear no matter what you say or do that the Dems hate your guts with a passion and will stop at nothing to win back the White House and their power. So you might as well have them treat you like crap for speaking out and taking a firm stand rather than having them treat you like crap while you lie there and play dead.

I've been wondering the sam

I've been wondering the same thing HE. All I keep seeing and hearing is a bunch of filth coming from the left and how it seems to work because of the media's support.

It really boggles my mind. The all-emotion-all-the-time, feel bad for everyone who feels wronged by America in some way Liberals seem to show more testicular fortitude than the Republicans. You'd think that we, the "civil liberty choking" Right, would be the more verbally oppressive.

Knowledge is power.  Thanks

Knowledge is power.  Thanks Tim and company.  Once again Al Gore is a johnny come lately.  1992 was his chance to have a Gore/Clinton run.   "What did Tennessee? What Arkansas."

Thanks Tim for holding up o

Thanks Tim for holding up our end. I made a brief comment on my radio show in which I gave the listeners a global warming rasberry. Saying pretty much, "well there's your global warming right there". BTW I gave a more extensive commentary a month ago. If the MSM wants us to go away and shut up, well that's tough cause we don't buy this GW horse hockey.

I still can't believe that's

I still can't believe that's the real Tim Graham. In my head, I always pictured someone more. . .y'know. . .with tights and a cape--shooting lasers out of his eyes and eating liberals like popcorn chicken.

Mmm. . .popcorn chicken.
