The president does not attend funerals for a good reason, it distracts from the service itself.  What good purpose would it serve?

President Bush meets with the families of our casualties, including loonies like Cindy Sheehan at later times when it will NOT impact the ceremony.

Regarding photos of coffins returning from Iraq getting filmed at Dover AFB.  When will the press begin filming the coffins of journo's returning to the US?  When will they stake cameras outside of funeral homes of the journo's killed overseas, stick the microphones int he face of their families and make insulting comments?

According to Rosie's logic, the 8 years of the "Clinton Dynasty" wasn't a democracy because I didn't vote for him. Nonsense.

Calling this administration "liars" and "murderers" is somehow NOT name-calling in Joy's mind?

She brought up Katrina...they always bring up Katrina...look, if you live in a city on the coast that is 30 feet below sea-level, surrounded by the Mississippi River and a huge lake held back by aging levees and you ignore all the warnings that one of the biggest hurricanes ever is quickly approaching and you decide to stay at home is not the government's fault. It's your own damn fault. New Orleans was a great city to visit with the music, food, and atmosphere but, you couldn't pay me enough to live there--before or after Katrina.

Re the President not attending funerals. We've had 3000 soldiers killed. How many funerals does Joy think he should attend? All of them? Some of them? Which ones, officers, NCO's, enlisted? An equal number of each? Does she think jetting all over the country attending funerals is the best use of the President's time? I can see it now: "While the stock market tanked and President Ahmedinejad of Iran threatened to incinerate New York City, President Bush attended three more funerals...."

I read something some time ago that made sense regarding the funerals. The commentator (can't remember who it was) said that the President can NOT be seen publicly grieving over the loss of soldiers in a war. Because then our enemies would see how much it grieves him, and they would know that he had not the stomach to maintain the battle.

Someone please tell Rosie that President Clinton did NOT go to Dover to meet the bodies and attend the funerals of dead soldiers. In fact, during the Clinton administration, taking pictures of the coffins was ALSO forbidden, just as it is now. And to have Elizabeth Hasselbeck fold like a cheap umbrella and agree with Rosie ("he should be there") proves that they need a much stronger conservative on this show. Or they should give up the pretense of trying to have a balance and just bill it as a liberal free-for-all.

And finally, I wish someone would tell ALL these women that just because they are on TV and have free rein to talk, that doesn't mean that they actually have anything worth saying and listening to. But Behar and O'Donnell know that they can throw their bombs like drive-by shooters and say things like "liars and murderers" and "It's not democracy" and there won't be any argument (not while even Elizabeth Hasselbeck wants to be "accepted").

Their fifteeen minutes of fame expired LONG ago. All in all, I don't think any of them have the mental power to discuss anything other than Brangelina, TomKat, and what's on Entertainment Tonight.

Similar to Rosie, it's time for Joy to have a "Beau Sia" of her own to take her to task for her hypocrisy.

How about documents from the Freedom of Information Act that show Rosie's hero Bill Clinton's inactions with the genocide in Rwanda?  I wonder if Rosie was calling Bill or Al liars.

I heard about this a couple of hours ago from Sean Hannity while driving home. Rosie and Joy are the disgraces. This show isn't The View or even The Liberal View or even The Communist View. The Demented View would be getting closer but still seems insufficient. What scum those two are. "That's like name-calling." After she calls the Bush administration liars and murderers. Wow every day they outdo themselves in being disgusting and psychopathic. It used to be evil would affect our culture bit by bit like a frog in water that so gradually gets hotter that the frog doesn't realize it until it's too late. But now the increase in trash is dramatic enough that the frog will leap out at once.

I guess Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, FDR, and Abraham Lincoln are all murderers too. (Oops no not quite. Two of them have D's next to their names in parenthesis so they can't be, right Joy?).

We see the same Democrat platform in 2004 (Viciously attack and demonize the Bush administration) will also be the same ENTIRE platform of theirs for 2008. Only about hundred times more hateful and psychopathic. Democrats care about NOTHING but winning elections. And they'll resort to ANYTHING to achieve that sole goal.

If only enough people would be outraged by Behar's insanity to refuse to watch the "show" anymore. But like the Beatles parody on Rush Limbaugh's show said, "We all live in a mellow apathy. A mellow apathy. A mellow apathy." And Bill Bennett's apt book title: "The Death of Outrage."

By the way, Newsbusters is so right on target to characterize Elizabeth Hasselbeck as a "token non-liberal". That's all she is. Here she talks about fringe liberals and then tells Joy, "I don't think you are." Knock it off, Elizabeth. If calling the Bush administration murderers and Donald Rumsfeld Hitler isn't on the fringe then what on earth is?

Ya know, this isn't funny anymore. Calling the leaders of your own country liars and murderers on national t.v. is not something to be taken lightly. After all, as the libs like to remind us, we are part of a global community. I wonder how our enemies will use this sort of sound bite to encourage each other. I'm truly saddened that young women in our country think that this sort of programming is worth their time. Not to mention that many of those in the audience are watching with their young children nearby. Sort of reminds me of those videos I've seen of jihadists training up young children to hate the Jews and the "infidels".

I think it's time to "Dixie Chicks" that show and boycott their guests.  Anyone appearing on that peek into the septic tank of society hawking a book or movie needs to know legitimate Americans will not be spending money to purchase the book or a movie ticket.  Once the guest list dries up to little more than a circle of utter morons, sponsors will abandon that assortment of dog crap in droves. 

I do suspect, however, sponsors of the network really don't have a choice which shows their ads will run -- they buy block time during certain time frames, if my understanding of media buys is close.  Regardless, no legitimate American supports these ridiculous idiots on the "View", and anyone appearing on their show needs to feel the same level of rejection for trying to "elevate" those morons to just above whale dung on the social ladder.
