Fox News Airing Special on Sunday Concerning the Most Explosive Blogs

Photo of Noel Sheppard.

For those looking for alternatives to Sunday’s Oscars -- and let's face it, who isn't? -- Fox News has added a special to its lineup that should interest all blogosphere denizens.

As reported by FoxNews.com:

This weekend, join hosts Kirsten Powers and Michelle Malkin as FOX News takes you inside the most explosive blogs on the Web!

The tagline caption reads: “FOX News is blowing the lid off the blogosphere, Sunday, February 25 at 10:30 p.m. ET.”

Hmmm. So, FNC is blowing the lid off the blogosphere by taking a look at the most explosive blogs.

Sounds like it’s going to be dynamite <insert rimshot>!

I cannot wait! Malkin and Pow

I cannot wait! Malkin and Powers will have some delicious stuff I am sure!

Thanks for the info...I also missed the Half Hour show on Fox because of company that stayed for a few days, Fox is going to replay it before next episode....so this week-end ought to be fun for me....I quit watching the so-called Academy Awards a good fifteen years or more ago...it is all political crap anymore...

Just my opinion of course!

I'm surprised FNC can deviate

I'm surprised FNC can deviate from its non-stop 24/7 coverage of Anna Nicole Smith and Britany Speers. Kind of makes World Wrestling Entertainment come off as intellectually-stimulating.

NS

The little drum bit was...well...I'd say keep your day job - but this is your day job!

And yes, I was looking for an alternative to the 3 hour self-congratulating, circle **** for the liberal left.

Thank you!

ET,

C'mon. It's early Saturday morning here. Cut a conservative some slack! :-) ns

any hints as to who they are going to feature

any hints as to who they are going to feature

seems like this is only a 1/2 hr show, too bad. maybe an idea for a regular weekly show discussing the best of the blogs

...could be a preview of an u

...could be a preview of an up-coming regular feature H20...I think they are testing a lot of new good ideas out...which so far I find refreshing.

Time will tell!

...along with ratings of course!

I see Laurie Dhue is back, whom I like a lot and is easy on the eyes for you fella's...so I've heard here!

LOL!

Blogosphere on FOX

It would be nice to see something regularly on the blogosphere. I rarely tune into TV news anymore (even FOX). Something like a regular blogosphere feature could tempt me back into it.

NS, you're right. Sorry. I forgot it was Saturday. For us "semi-retired" folks everyday is Saturday (until I start back to school). Plus I have to remember your audience. You remember, the no-sense-of-humor conservatives! ;-)

Kirsten

I like Kirsten Powers..I often get the impression that she is sometimes embarassed by the lunacy on the far left. She is put on the spot at times to somehow defend some of their moronic rhetoric. To her credit, she often criticizes them.

I second that bbb!

I second that bbb!

I third that BT.A rational, m

I third that BT.

A rational, middle of the road Democrat -- the complete opposite of her party's moonbat base.

A fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject.
Sir Winston Churchill

I'll fourth that, Jack.And ei

I'll fourth that, Jack.

And either one of them would be quite welcomed to "blow the lid off" of my blogosphere anytime.

C'mon guys, you were all thinking the same thing so shut up before you even open your mouths!

Sure Vic. But that was a give

Sure Vic. But that was a given!

Fox would seem to have captured the best blogbabes.

Though they also have some soup-puss loon who represents the Young Democrats of America

A fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject.

That pretty much describes us

That pretty much describes us, Jack. You get Kim Raver and I get CCH Pounder. Woof!

On the other hand, MM is rare

On the other hand, MM is rarely, if ever, embarrassed by the lunacy of the far right. Indeed, to her discredit, she seems at times to embrace it.

As is obvious, I don't think much of MM. She is an embarrassment and a discredit to intelligent conversation. She is a shameless attack dog (bitch) whose meanspirited rants give the reasoned right a bad name. She is no better than Michael Moore. Like him, truth is often ignored in the name of partisanship.

Slightly off topic... only

Slightly off topic... only slightly if I can rope in the photographs accompanying the thread.

Michele looks like she just sucked a lemon while listening to a three hour Gore rant.

Now showing the most unflattering photograph possible of Republicans and/or conservatives is an OLD trick of the biased media.

And showing the best possible PR shot of lib***ls the accompaniment.

This is no coincidence. Happens all the time.

In particular, Hillary Clinton (who is reality looks extremely haggish) usually receives the extreme airbrush treatment to make her face look smoother than a baby's butt..

But I've noticed that Fox News has started returning the favor to Democrats.

They had an on-screen still shots of Obama and Shrillary yesterday. Man, Obama's ears looked positively Spockish -- and Hillary looked like the wicked witch of the east.

A fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject.

But isn't this Fox -- or News

But isn't this Fox -- or NewsBusters -- that picked this photo of Malkin?

I like it bal

I like it bal. She's hot. She should be in the next movie you watch, so you can fight with yourself.

JB

Jack,

Actually, that came from FoxNews.com. As such, I don't think they were trying to be unflattering to Michelle. In reality, it's a much worse picture of Kirsten, who, if you're not familiar, is quite gorgeous. ns

ns -- ah, I didn't make mys

ns -- ah, I didn't make myself clear. I thought they both looked like unflattering screen grabs from Fox.

Kirsten is indeed a gorgeously classy woman who wanders far from the Democrat talking points to give her opinion, so even if I disagree at least she's being authentic.

A fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject.

Sir Winston Churchill

I rise to disagree

Unless the picture has been changed from when you originally posted, she looks just as distractingly and radiantly beautiful as Michelle always looks.

Whats in a name?

First let me wish good luck to the Ladies with their new show. I enjoy watching both Michelle and Kirsten and I think they will be fabulous this Sunday. I have one gripe and I know it's petty but I can't help but notice the problem in the shows name; "It’s Out There." What kind of name is that? Imagine you’re watching this new Fox News pilot on Sunday. Your phone rings. You answer it. It’s a friend. What would the conversation sound like? Try this:

Telephone: ring…ring…ring

You: “hello”

Friend: “Can I speak to [Your name]?”

You: “It’s me.”

Friend: “Whuz-up, whatcha doin?”

You: ”Nuttin much, just watchin some TV.”

Friend: "Whatcha watchin?"

You: "It’s Out There”

Friend: "That’s cool! What's it called, thou?"

Friend: "It's that crazy, aye?"

You: "No, it's the name of the show, "It’s Out There."

Friend: "I don’t care how “out there” the name is; what’s it about? What’s it called?”

You: "No, no, no--stupid--I'm watching the new Fox News show starring Michelle Malkin and Kirsten Powers, "It’s Out There."

Friend: “Ok! Fine! It’s out there, but what’s it about and what’s it’s damn name?”

You: “It’s—Out—There!!!”

Friend: “I don’t give a shit about what you think of the damn show! I just want to know the name and what it’s about!”

You: “Uggghhhhhh” –CLICK--

Friend: “Hello—hello”

Telephone: dial tone

Does anyone else share my opinion of the name they gave this new show?

Me: "I don't know.&qu

Me: "I don't know."

You: "No, no, no...that's the show on liberal thought process."

It's Out There

Friend: " Well ok, whose on it ? "

You: " Powers, for one. "

Friend: " I understand it's the rich and the famous on the tube, but that doesn't tell me much. "

You: " Have you ever seen Crossfire in action ?"

Friend: " Yeah, but my dual sli video cards are used only for gaming. I'll watch it on my TV. "

You: " Well you can catch M&M on the web. Hotair. "

Friend: " Sheesh, I've already got chocolate and popcorn, besides I like my butteroil not those loud machines. "

You: " Are we on the same page ?"

Friend: " I don't see your text message. This dang cellphone."

Malkin...

Malkin is smarter than Sean Hannity, I'll give her that. She also has a bit more capacity for critical thought, I'll give her that. She also isn't afraid to tackle difficult subject or make very dogmatic statements, I'll give her that. She is a contributor to the conservative body of social and political commentators, I'll give her that. If she were a white male, few would be listening because there are a thousand white males that fit what I just described and there isn't room for any more at the mic.

My point is this. She gets a pass because she is a woman and has Asian ethnicity. But the much of the body of what she says isn't that unique and frankly I find her to emotionally and intellectually immature and far to extreme in some of her views. I hope she will grow substantially.

As for the SUPER-LIB bloggers and anyone else they will be reporting about or exposing...well this is her territory so she should do an excellent job, and yes I am aware that Powers is with her in the report.

If you claim to be a conservative, please don't disgrace yourself and conservatism by thinking and arguing like a liberal. Go Rudy!

And your opinion means what to Michelle? Oh, yeah . . .

BTW - do you get bulk discounts on the tinfoil ?

Hmm, I guess Chris Matthews missed that memo.
