Maher is merely an ideological bigot. He never engages in honest debate. He invites people of opposing views on his show, but never engages their arguments (I suspect he can’t grasp them), then he mocks their points of view with cheap shots. The he cuts to a commercial, to protect himself from any fair response. He’s the ideological equivalent of Archie Bunker.

I watched the first few minutes of his segment on Leno, then I did the only decent thing: I changed the channel. I used to subscribe to HBO so I could watch the Sopranos, and I’d occasionally forget myself and try to watch his program for a few minutes. Every time, I found myself going four or five minutes before his bigotry turned me off. I’ve since gotten rid of HBO, because I don’t want to subsidize that sort of nonsense.

I seriously would like to pound Mahers head in with a hammer, if we lived in any other country in the world he would be under the gulag right now.. I just got done watching his blathering, hatefilled, gibberish, and I have came away from it wishing rectal cancer on he and his entire family.... I have always disliked the guy but I hope some unhinged maniac put the cross hairs of his sniper rifle right between Maher squinty eyes and pulls the trigger...

Truely, Maher is a total piece of dog shit on the shoe of the American zeitgeist........... What was equally as bad was the crowds cheering reaction to scumbag Maher calling the president a 'half witted, retarded dolt, who couldn't find his ass with his two hands' (etc, etc)......... America is sick.....Make no mistake, our great country is dying...... Listening to people cheer Mahers treasonous, filthy, garbage, makes me believe that our counrty has no hope for the future....

Let's see, Mr. Bush has a degree from Yale, an MBA from Harvard, and flew the then advanced F-102 interceptor with the Texas Air National Guard, as well as being Governor of Texas and President of the United States of America.

So, how about Maher? English degree from Cornell. He has appeared in such movies as "Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death" and "Pizza Man." His nose is large enough to serve as a hanger for a B-52. So who's the idiot? Who's the fool? Who's the ugly wannabe that will be quickly forgotten when his time is past?

I wonder, does this goof-ball actually think it is funny to call someone a "retarded child?" Has he ever loved a child who is retarded? Apparently not. And apparently he thinks he is better than the retarded, to make jokes that imply it is something to be embarrassed about.

Mr. Wanna-be-a-comedian sure has no problem finding his hind quarters, nor does he have a problem presenting it for all the world to see. I guess it was 'show and tell' night on Jay Leno and I missed it.

I often pray for the salvation of Bill Maher's soul.  I truly want him to know the peace of knowing Jesus.  He is so angry and so blind.  I know President Bush is not perfect, but neither am I.  I find great comfort in the fact that he is a born again Christian and I believe that he truly seeks to do what he believes is best for the USA.  I  believe the root of the problem that liberals have with President Bush is the fact that he is a believer in Jesus.

I'm tired of " The New Royalty", in other words, Famous People, getting rich on hating me and my country. In fact, I'll admit right here that my hatred for Bill M. is as deep as his hatred of GWB, Christians, most whites, and all of these "phobes." The difference is that GWB was ELECTED by America. Who voted for the celebs?

In fact, If some nasty terrorist were to start blowing up media outlets, like the offices of the producers of his show for example, I would not be suprised or really concerned. They made their bed by insulting most Amereicans and betting on the fact that we'll all continue to play by the rules and not call them on their treason. Now they can sleep in it.

Bill Maher is one arrogant arshole.  Haven't we evolved enough to stop calling everyone we disagree with stupid.  I think he proves himself no smarter than the man he disparages.

The liberal press has been demonizing prominent Republicans for decades, from Ford to our current president.  This is nothing new.  Apparently, we are not "nuanced" or sophisticated enough to see that liberal policies, which have a history of failure, really do work while conservative policies, with a demonstrated history of success, are just the concoction of small minds.  Gingrich, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, etc....  The real challenge is to find a conservative leader who has not been demonized to some degree by the media.

Liberals are great at making petty insults, calling people stupid, and coming up with hilarious and idiotic bumper stickers.  But when you put them on the spot for how THEY would do things differently suddenly they're remarkably quiet, or what they do say is astoundingly stupid.  (ie immediate "redeployment from iraq", or repealing those nasty "tax cuts on the rich", the same ones that are responsible for a very robust economy right now.)  It would "feel good" to redeploy from iraq for them, or "feel good" to repeal those tax cuts "on the rich" just like it "feels good" to call Bush an idiot.  It appeals to their emotions, yet would have very bad consequences in the long term.  Whatever.  This is just more of the same from liberals.

I absolutely refuse to see any program that has BM on it after his remarks about the "commitment" the murderers of 9/11 had not long after that terrible day. That remark led to his being canned from his ABC show. It's apparent that if he'd make the same comment today, he'd probably get cheered...

Every time I see and/or hear something Bill Maher says I think to myself, "He's got to be the most disgusting Democrat supporter out there. This man is just a pathetic piece of crap. His utter contempt for Pres. Bush is quite telling and reflective of the insanity that passes for Hollywood these days. These are the people who want us to kow-tow to them and who want us to think they are the EXPERTS. This man has serious issues and really, he doesn't even know the President and is projecting his own issues onto the President which is sad. When did name calling, and utter hatred pass for honest criticism of a sitting President? If you did this in an Islamic country (such as Iran), you won't live to get away with it. While this man graduated from Cornell, most of his ilk barely graduated from high school and let's face it, public education is not much of an education these days. I don't know why people "pay" to see this guy's version of "comedy?" I just don't get it. I've never found him funny and this just makes him even more hateful, biased, insane, and irrelevant. The only importance that Hollywood is now trying to convince us all they now have is their buying of a candidate who will spout their ignorant ideas: Obummer.
