NewsBusters Senior Editor Tim Graham, Director of Media Analysis at the MRC, appeared Monday night with Wall Street analyst Charles Payne on FNC's O'Reilly Factor. Topic: The controversy over CNBC's Maria Bartiromo using a jet owned by CitiCorp. Tim used the opportunity to pivot to a wider discussion of liberal bias at NBC News, citing how NBC was the first to pounce on John Sununu for using corporate jets during 41's term, how NBC News is now pounding away at the irrelevance of President George W. Bush and how the Today show is the most slanted morning show.

Ya gotta love it when all O'Reilly has is " Alright" in the end ( you could see the disgust), as he looks down at his paperwork, in agreement but unable to bring up larger issues. You hit that one out of the ballpark, and it came through that you were absolutely certain about your stance, good job Tim.

I caught this!
My favorite line was ...
'Why is anybody watching NBC anymore?'
Also your reference about Russert and Woodward with regard to the Libby case!
Too much fun!
Great Work! Just Great!
Thanks for making my evening!

January 30, 2007 - 01:03 ET by Gary HallWell bigtimer, you said it first, so I'll ditto it. 'Why is anybody watching NBC anymore?' was super Tim. About the only reporter that NBC has left that occassionally does an all out investigative report that exposes someone on the left is Lisa Meyers. She did it on Katrina (Gov. Blanco). She did one on Kerry, Ret. Rear Admiral Schachte, and a few others. I'd bet if she does too many more, she'll get fired.
One more thing. I bet we'd all like to hop on that jet with Maria, just the same.

January 30, 2007 - 01:21 ET by bigtimerGary...
Maria is a conservative last I saw on that stupid Chris Matthews show he has on Sundays about a year or two ago...so I have some wonder as to why she is getting the heat she has been here, this is twice this year with rumors of her, I can't help if the long knives haven't been out for her for a long time, she is beautiful and intelligent and conservative...we can't have that now can we!
As far as Lisa Myers goes, she has been an overlooked gal for years and years, I grew up watching her report from the beginning...her great report that was halted by Brokaw?(can't remember which guy said he would walk of his nightly news if her Juanita Broderick report she did was aired..it finally was much much later)....she is a great investigative reporter...one of the best IMO.

FNC made it as a twofer on Ubermann tonight...the Fox Nothing Channel as he is calling it this week...what a little genius at work.

January 30, 2007 - 08:49 ET by Jack BauerBOR got in another under-stated shot again!
He mentioned a small spike in NBC's small cable outlet as it lurched leftward and attracted a few more leftists.
But, once again, the name Olbermann didn't come within one light year of Bill's lips.
The Olbermannian must be getting so pissed off that no matter how much he rants and raves and breaks his toys, O'Reilly just never registers him.

Melvin rates a Spinal Tap 11.
For How Long, Mel?
January 30, 2007 - 10:13 ET by emjem24For How Long, Mel? BTW, this isn't about ratings, it's about bias and its effect on the MSM. I suppose you're a life-long NBC watcher. Frankly, the network is an empty shell with usless shows like the Grease tryout show that is shameless ploy at imitating American Idol. They haven't had an original idea in a while and a lot of their new sitcoms/shows are not that great. They may be critical darlings but when even a liberal entertainment reviewer critiques one of NBC shows it makes you wonder. Now the news...Brian Williams is a Brokaw wannabe without an original thought of his own. This is the time of the day when the news cycle has worn itself out and all they can inject into the airwaves is supposition, slander, and negativity. Against whom...I wonder.
