Late-Night MSNBC Cannot Stop Bashing CNN Debate Moderators

Considering how much bashing MSNBC has done of the CNN Democratic presidential debates and the moderators (Dana Bash, Don Lemon, and Jake Tapper), it was no surprise when the late-night portion of their coverage (12:30 a.m.-2:00 a.m. Eastern Thursday) repeatedly bashed CNN for having and insufficiently covered issues like education and impeachment and created too much conflict.

This MSNBC Analyst Bashes CNN for 'Setting Up Contention'

Straight off the heels of night two, round two of the Democratic presidential primary debates, Daily Show host Trevor Noah offered his insights live with MSNBC political analyst and former Obama pollster, Cornell Belcher. Towards the end of the discussion, Belcher took the opportunity to scrutinize CNN for their somewhat incendiary debate format: "I don't want to beat up on CNN, but I'm going to…

ABC Avoids Williamson’s Wacky Beliefs on Vaccines, Darth Vader

In a post debate segment, ABC’s Nightline on Wednesday night profiled Marianne Williamson, avoiding her weird and wacky beliefs on vaccines and AIDS virus being represented by Darth Vader. Instead, reporter Marci Gonzalez enthused, “She's taking her passionate case far beyond her fan base.” Hinting at her unusual beliefs, the reporter noted, “she is also focused on this spiritual climate of…

CNN Panel Grills Castro on ‘Open Borders’: ‘Freaking Everybody Out’

One of the great things about the Democratic primary debates, so far, was how they so clearly exposed the radical nature of today’s Democratic Party. That fact wasn’t lost on CNN following their second debate on Wednesday as they grilled former HUD Secretary Julian Castro; urging him to find another way to campaign on immigration and not call for “decriminalizing” illegal border crossings, a.k.a…

MSNBC Lets Michael Moore Rant for 12 Minutes on Need for Lib Nominee

MSNBC on Tuesday night donated 12 minutes of air time to far-left filmmaker Michael Moore as the director demanded that Democrats nominate a very liberal nominee or risk losing. Of that time, six and a half minutes came totally uninterrupted as host Brian Williams just let Moore go on and on. As for a strategy, he declared, “Let's get out the Democratic base of young people, women, and people of…

YIKES: MSNBC Panelists Were NOT Happy 2020 Dems Bashed Obama!

Unlike their late-night analysis after Tuesday’s debate, MSNBC had their acts together on Wednesday night, putting together in many of their initial takes a near-unanimous message that former Vice President Joe Biden was on the defensive and that it was an abomination how many of the Democratic presidential candidates condemned the Obama administration.

CNNers Declare Absent Elizabeth Warren Winner of Second Debate Night

Even though Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren wasn’t on the debate stage Wednesday for night two of CNN’s Democratic primary debates, the network’s journalists still declared her the winner. CBS Ignores Trump’s Plan to Lower Drug Costs, NBC Whines About It

Chris Matthews isn’t happy with CNN. The Hardball host fumed over the fact that there was no impeachment talk during night one of the Democratic debate. You Don’t Have to Yell: Scarborough Blows Another Gasket on McConnell

Channeling Bernie Sanders on Wednesday’s Hardball, MSNBC’s Morning Joe co-host and Trump friend-turned-foe Joe Scarborough loudly pontificated about the “un-American” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) aka “Moscow Mitch” for not, in his mind, sufficiently pushing back against Russian meddling and trying to destroy the health care of millions.

CNN's Cillizza Declares Trump Winner of Democratic Debate

So who won the first Democrat debate in Detroit? Well,  CNN's Chris Cillizza has a very surprising answer that will shock (and depress) many.  So Mr. Cillizza, please pass along the envelope so we can open it.  And the winner is.... DONALD TRUMP! Of course, he had a list of other winners (and losers) as well but that was the pick that stood out. He presented that surprising choice in his July 31…

Gloating NY Times Leads With ‘Moscow Mitch’ Jibe

Congressional reporter Carl Hulse enjoyed piling on Republican Senate leader Mitch McConnell just a bit too much in Wednesday’s lead New York Times slot: “Pressure Mounts On Senate Leader To Secure Ballot – Some in G.O.P. Softening – McConnell Impedes Bills, and Seethes Over Tag of ‘Moscow Mitch.’” It’s Hulse’s favorite kind of story: Democrats gleefully putting Republicans under pressure, with…
