Campbell Brown: No Bias, No Bull... no ratings. TVNewser at MediaBistro.com is reporting that Brown has seen a new low in her ratings. Last week she racked up... or down as the case may be... a stat of just 69,000 viewers for Friday, June 12, which was also "the lowest demo viewership for CNN at 8pmET since Christmas Day 2007."
According to TVNewser, the previous low was heaped on Roland Martin who got a dismal 115,000 viewers on May 20. Maybe Roland Martin could have used some help from Rowan and Martin? (There I go dating myself again)
TVNewser has some other stats on the continued downfall of CNN's ratings that are worth a look-see.

Sorry Warner, don't mean to sidetrack your post, just was the first thing that came to my mind. BTW I always watched Rowan and Martin growing up, great show.

June 16, 2009 - 15:50 ET by blazermaniacAbsolutely! It was the highest rated NHL game in 36 years. And don't compare this lousy show, to "Rowan & Martin's Laugh In". That was one of the best comedy shows in history. If NBC needs some ratings, they ought to bring that show back. It's a whole lot better than what they have these days.
Something ain't right here.
June 16, 2009 - 05:37 ET by JWF69 thousand is somewhere around 2% of the population. I find it hard to believe 2% of the population of the United States of America would watch this show. Are these global ratings?
Is someone fudging the numbers? My dvr stays tuned to the last channel I recorded. Sometimes I turn on the TV to keep the cat company when I am grinding hippie meat in the basement. Would the tv meter still count it? Oh fudge.
On a related note, JWF's Hippie Chum(tm) is doing very well. No, it is not food. Hippie Chum chases away nuisance fish and non-vertebrae jelly like creatures of the deep away from boat water inlets.
A thick layer of Hippie Chum spread on the bottom of your ship will keep it barnacle free for 5 years. Guaranteed.

Math Czar
June 16, 2009 - 16:19 ET by Kingfish17You guys need better calculators. Assuming the United States has 300,000,000 people, 69,000 represents 0.00023, or 23/100,000ths of 300 million. Stated in percentage terms, 69,000 would be 23/1,000ths of one percent of 300,000,000.
Two percent of 300 million? That would be 6 million.
Two tenths of one percent of 300 million? That would be 600,000.
Two one-hundreths of one percent? That would be 60,000 people.
They should refund the money spent for the commercial time.
(.002% is 2/1000ths of one percent. .02% would be 2/100ths of one percent.)

Cambell Brown's Ratings
June 16, 2009 - 06:14 ET by kiwikitwhich just shows that an empty head on a beautiful giirl is just not enough. Personally I've never watched her (or anything else on CNN for the last several years) but from what I've read, one's time is much better spent . . . playing hopscotch. It's a reminder of how little we had before FNC and why we fought to get it on our cable systems and since getting it, are not interested in returning to the party line networks.
And you know what Campbell Brown will say?

Campbell Brown is getting what she deserves. I remember well her rants about Gov. Palin's qualifications that Matthew Sheffield and others here at NewsBusters documented.
What surprises me the most is how a smirky partisan liberal hack like Campbell Brown can be married to someone as thoughtful and intelligent as Dan Senor. Oh, well. I guess it may be true that opposites attract.
