Once again, I have to ask, why are these secret phone call strategy
sessions not a matter of public discussion? That the White House is
orchestrating media messages with the supposedly independent press
corps, is it nothing to raise an eyebrow about?

Have all Presidents done this in one form or another?  Perhaps we were shocked when we learned of the tapes Nixon had and then learned LBJ and Kenedy also did this.  And now this President who has teh MSM in his back pocket is making war on Rush and all his enemies.

Now how legal is it to have MSM insiders and have them spread vicious lies and gossip, dunno.  It is probabaly being done but what can we do about it?

They all know Rush doesn't give a rat's fuzzy rear about the Republican Party. They are using this as a means to influence those weinie-wafflers out there. Rush is the strongest voice of the Conservative movement, but he has daily harsh words for Republicans. They are employing more of the Alinsky rules, and they are afraid of Rush. Don't believe they aren't. Why are they afraid? Simply because they know he has such a large base, and they mainly don't want the contents of their plans and policies discussed openly. Might turn off the libs and the far-lefties, and the can't make up their own d@mn mind people, doncha know?

Obama has used every trick in the book to get where he is today. Manipulation and deceit is the at the heart of his rise to power.

Now that he is president, it is expected that he will use these same tactics. Hopefully, he will go so over-the-top, that it will become obvious to all.

His "financial summit" was a clear case of over-reaching executive power, by blending the executive and legislative branches. The seperation of powers is a fundamental part of our constitutional government and its checks and balances.

Do they teach this in school anymore?

If the executive branch is also exerting influence over the media, we are on the way to becoming a totalitarian state.

Why don't liberals understand when Rush says "I hope Obama Fails".

It would have been unpopular in pre-war Germany to say I hope Hitler fails. Or to say to pre-communist Cuba, I hope Castro fails. Or to say in Venezuela, I hope Chavez fails, or to say in Zimbabwee, I hope Mugabe fails.

If Obama succeeds, apparently with help from the media, America will fail.

When Paul Harvey dies, leftists gloat that his audience was millions more than Rush's -- implying, of course, that Rush Limbaugh is just an insignificant insect.

Now, when Rush gives a speech at CPAC, leftists attack from all sides -- recognizing that Rush Limbaugh is a powerhouse conservative.

Conclusion: When leftists hear anything, their only response is to react emotionally. No thinking; no logic; no grey matter whatsoever. They have no morals, no standards, no principles. Only reactive emotion. They are pathetic creatures, and they will bring down this country if we continue to give them the chance.

The left used to accuse Republicans of sending talking points to talk radio hosts. As always, whatever the left accuses us of doing is exactly what they are doing themselves.

So now we know that the White House tells their operatives in the media what to say. That sort of thing is worthy of a communist dictatorship, not of the United States. Obama and his radical leftists should be ashamed of themselves.

The more the Ogabe administration fetishizes Rush as an object of hatred and derision, and attempts to silence him and those who agree with him, the less time they have to defend their agenda.

Those "private" phone conversations between the administration and their useful idiot in the media will get burned if sensitive information gets leaked out.

that I've read in years... to suspect some sort of media conspiracy, to be paranoid, to worry about trends and a slippery slope towards a state controlled media..and quite another to see the worst case, most paranoid predicitons actually occurring. We knew O was going to push for socialism, but seeing it happen was worse than the expectation of it. We knew the media would do anything to help the democrat/liberal agenda, and feared direct collusion-and now here it is, in plain view. 

When O was elected, I feared for the future of my country, and my own personal fortunes and future. Now, I'm afraid for *right now*. 

I *will* be buying more ammunition (economic stimulus!)  this weekend, and definitely attending a local gun show as a representative for my second amendment group.
