As I reported earlier, the scurrilous claim that McCain vice presidential pick Governor Sarah Palin faked her pregnancy with a Down's Syndrome child is beginning to spread among the lowest of the nutrooters. Now, the unhinged, smear site DemocraticUnderground.com has boosted this lie to their front pages. Naturally, since these hate sites feed into each other, the spurious source of the DU story is another DailyKos story like the one I earlier reported upon.
Of course, this whole meme is nothing but a lie. Are we expected to believe an entire state, its hospitals, doctors and media establishment helped cover up this pregnancy story? And they all did this for a Republican, to boot? It makes little logical sense to believe a word of this black helicopter conspiracy theory. Next thing we know, the Kossacks and DUers are going to expect us to believe that Big Foot and some gray aliens were the attendants at the birth!
But, here is the thing. This hateful story about the birth of a child with Down's Syndrome is exactly the sort of lowest, gutter ideas that float through the empty space in the voluminous heads of our friends at the lowest depths of the Democratic Party and the lefty movement. There are some sick, sick people over there and stories like this prove it.
Let's take a looks at some of the replies on the DU garbage thread:
WARNING -- As is common on leftist sites, some of the language that follows is profane. (Not to mention filled with bad spelling and grammar)
bobd0: It's not an "accusation" and it isn't "awful" Teenagers get pregnant. It isn't awful. It just happens. It happens all the time. I'm not making accusations. I'm just looking at all the angles. You know, like those Republicans do. Look at that "breakaway" sect of Mormons in Texas. Who would have thought that sort of thing was going on in their backyard? And we're talking Alaska here. Those long winters must get very boring. And Sarah is all for drilling in Alaska
DaLittle Kitty: That IS a little bastard christian grandchild... WITHOUT QUESTION! IGHT! It's Da LYING STUPID! Da LYING!!! AllCFhristianed Out +LY'N DER ASS OFF! Why Was this same standard of which you speak NOT in play re: JOHN EDWARDS? The bulshite is unbelievable!!!!
Demeter: It Doesn't Have to Be an Issue--Just a Rumor or Legend on the Internet. Like Obama is a Muslim==tit for tat.
enough already: Screw 'em all! It's time we started fighting back. We always show up at gun fights with knives. Knock Palin's teeth out on this one. No backing down, no mercy.
marylanddem: I think this IS a an important issue. And commend Daily Kos for focusing on it. Fuck Sarah Palin if she's the lying hypocrite she appears to be, the sooner this shit hits the fan the better.
progressivebydesign: How can she be the arbiter of all things HOLY and PURE if her daughter gets knocked up?? How would that play in Palin's little circle of believers? Guess that shoots her 'abstinence only' stance, doesn't it?
scarface2004: fuck that right wing piece of shit..if it belonged to her daughter and she covered it up to avoid embarrasment then fuck that piece of shit! republicans have asked for this...and now they are gonna get it. this is DEMOCRATIC UNDERGROUND goddammit, not mr rogers neighborhood!! its time to fuck them over with every rumor speculation bald faced lie whatever. reap what you sow assholes!!
Well, there's more, of course, many more that are even more profane. Granted there are a few somewhat saner souls saying that they should leave this horrible story alone. But they are being widely abused and ignored.
This is the sort of hate that has developed into a pathology for the far left, folks. As distasteful as it is, we need to be aware of how low they will go.
Update #2- One Woman's Eyewitness Account of Pregnant Palin
All the speculation on whether Governor Palin was pregnant is easily put to rest by the eyewitness account of Elizabeth Eubanks from April 29 of this year. Eubanks was in an airport in Fairbanks waiting for a flight when she unexpectedly saw Governor Palin in the airport also waiting for a flight.
Eubanks reports that she found Palin to be a wonderful person.
Of course I had to check out the “Hottest Governor in the US” and quickly turned to see her pregnant (she has since had her baby) with bags and daughter in tote. Then it struck me as odd. Why is the Governor of Alaska in the airport and preparing to get onto my commercial flight?
Well, why WAS the Governor waiting for a commercial flight? It seems as a cost cutting measure, Governor Palin sold the state jet on Ebay for 2.1 million dollars.
So, not only was she pregnant despite the claim of the jackasses in the Democratic Party, but we get to see another example of how fiscally responsible she is! Go ON with your bad self, Governor Palin!
**Update #3- Michael Moore and Media Take Notice**
The "faked pregnancy" charge is spreading. Perhaps the Old Media are beginning to pick this up as is evident with a Knoxville News blog post by Katie Allison Granju.
Even smear merchant Michael Moore is touting the story with a headline demanding Gov. Palin to "Show us DNA" to prove her son's provenance.
The question is, will the Old Media take up this story from the extremist hatemongers of the leftist fringe like Marcos Moulitsas and Michael Moore? Time will tell and we'll keep monitoring.
**Update #4- London Times Now Repeats Fake Pregnancy Claim**
And it keeps growing. Now the London Times is throwing out this lie in an August 31 story.
If Mrs Palin, a conservative mother of five, ever doubted that landing on a national presidential ticket would open her to the harshest of spotlights and smear tactics, she also awoke yesterday to utterly unfounded internet rumours that her fifth child, born in April with Down’s Syndrome, was actually her 17-year-old daughter’s.
How far will the despicable story go? We are on the case.
**Update #5- CTV News Now Repeats Fake Pregnancy Claim**
More and more news outlets are noticing this putrid attack. CTV News posted a brief bit about the sickening DailyKos attack in its "Top Stories" section. Unfortunately the news outlet didn't mention Kos by name as they should have.
It's the type of scrutiny that the McCain camp will increasingly see as the media catches up on the background of the surprise choice.
But it's nothing compared to the online smear campaign that has begun against Palin.
The most-vicious, from the left-leaning Daily Kos, contains completely unsubstantiated rumours about her recent pregnancy.
The more legs this story gets, I think the worse it will turn out for the left. They look very, very bad with this story. I feel it will drive voters to Sarah Palin's side, so I hope the Old Media and New will really focus on this lie and vicious attack on a Down Syndrome child, new Mother and innocent teenaged girl.

Does Alan Colmes not know
August 31, 2008 - 07:42 ET by motherbeltDoes Alan Colmes not know that Down Syndrome does not develop over the course of a pregnancy? Nor is it a result of birth stress. (I guess Alan is confusing it with cerebral palsy, which is claimed [not proven] to be caused by birth stress) It occurs in the embryonic stage...maybe even the zygote stage right after fertilization during the splitting of cells and chromosomes.
Gosh, Alan, do you think it's 50 times more prevalent in babies of mothers over 40 because those women, as a group, tend to not get proper prenatal care???
No class, all A$$.
Sidenote: When is some MSM "journalist" going to demand that Barack Obama condemn these attacks on Gov. Palin as shameful?????
Update: I just thought of something else...even if Alan is confusing it with cerebral palsy, "birth stress" is not caused by lack of prenatal care. John Edwards could tell him that it's caused by the obstetrician who does the delivery!!

Colmes Should Be Horsewhipped
August 31, 2008 - 13:26 ET by stratmanMB:
Down's Syndrome (AKA Trisomy 21) occurs during Meiosis, the process of making sperm or eggs (AKA "gametes). Therefore, the extra 21st chromosome occurs before fertilization of egg and sperm.
What is clear is that there is a strong relationship between maternal age and Down's Syndrome (although there is a small percentage due to paternal chromosomal abnormalities).
Important point to note is that there is essentially nothing a mother can do to prevent a Down's Syndrome child except prevent conception. As far as science knows today, having a Down's syndrome baby is NOT due to something either parent did or did not do before or during the pregnancy. Lastly, the risk of having another Down's baby is about 1% (barring certain specific and very rare circumstances).
To refresh about Meiosis, it is a process in which a cell with 46 chromosomes splits into 4 new cells each containing only 23 chromosomes and each new cell having a different combination of DNA material as well. This process is called "Reduction Division" and is done to make egg and sperm cells for reproduction.
Meiosis differs from Mitosis where a 46 chromosome cell divides into two exact duplicate daughter cells each containg identical 46 chromosomes. Mitosis is used to make more of the same cells, like skin or lung cells.

August 31, 2008 - 19:46 ET by motherbeltThanks, Strat, for more biology than I wanted...LOL.
Seriously, it's been a looooong time since I took bio. I just remembered that it had to do with chromosomes at the beginning of pregnancy and that there was no prevention.
Alan Colmes should know better. Any reasonably educated person knows that Down Syndrome is a genetic defect, not a condition that arises during pregnancey, from lack of prenatal care or anything else.

August 31, 2008 - 00:40 ET by geoff.galeThe potential problem that Barack Hussein Obama has with this kind of nonsense is that if he doesn't get out in front of this and denounce the lefty kooks who are engaging in this character assassination, he risks looking like he believes this. Further, if he doesn't denounce this quickly, he's left himself open to the charge that again he's saying one thing and doing another - he's saying he's a new breed of politician and that he won't run a negative campaign, but if he remains silent about it, he's tacitly supporting the vilest kind of negative politics.
This is about the tenth time his campaign has fallen into this kind of trap. Are they just amateurs over there?
I wonder how the McCain/Palin campaign are going to respond? They did a bang up job all last week during the DNC, hope they keep it up.

I was able to get on the site and the article talks about her water breaking and not getting to the hospital soon enough. There is risk of infection with that - but infection doesn't cause Down's Syndrome! What a complete idiot! I have lost any shred of respect I had for Colmes.
Down's Syndrome is a genetic thing and has nothing to do with prenatal care. The only prenatal care for Down's Syndrome is abortion. What a pig.

Risk of infection
August 31, 2008 - 11:09 ET by CobraManIt's funny that Colmes (or the OB/GYN he quotes) failed to mention that the risk of infection is to the mother and not the child. Part of the function of that "water" is to flush away any infectious agents that may be present in the birth canal so that the infant isn't exposed to them during delivery. The risk comes to the mother who may be exposed to those agents through the skin located outside the birth canal if any cuts or abrasions are present prior to or during the birthing process. Any competent OB/GYN could have told them that.

These pro-choice advocates don't care about women or babies. They are sick.

The Stupidity of Alan Colmes
August 31, 2008 - 06:20 ET by CellaDown's syndrome is caused by a chromosomal aberration.
It can be the number of chromosomes or the configuration of the chromosomes. Most Down's syndrome babies have an extra chromosome. This condition is often called trisomy 21, taking its title from the cell number to which the extra chromosome attaches itself.
These studies are too numerous for me to detail here.
But I can direct you to the book, "Mental Retardation, A life cycle approach" by Chinn and Logan. Or the syndrome atlas by Gellis and Feingold.
I certainly don't recommend Alan Colmes' theories. His obvious lack of knowledge of this subject and his general behavior patterns suggest some early cell division problems of his own.
You're exactly right...
August 31, 2008 - 06:54 ET by cjbreisch...and in fact, there's a more believable, and slightly less despicable lefty argument here that they seem to have missed.
Down's Syndrome does come at significantly higher rates for moms over 40. Libs could point out that her getting pregnant at 43, was not the wisest choice ever.
My wife was 40 when we had our last. She was at pretty high risk for Down's Syndrome, but we directed the doctor to not do any tests. We knew we were going to keep the baby no matter what, so we didn't need to know.

August 31, 2008 - 08:06 ET by sarcasmoIn effect, by doing this, they're going after Palin's teenaged daughter. If the girl was pregnant & there was this big coverup or if she wasn't pregnant & just had mono, do you think her view of humanity will ever be the same after all this BS? And as I said above, wasn't Chelsea Clinton rightly "off limits" to the press when she was that age? If it's a real coverup then it's a legitimate story, but so far all we've seen is photo speculation, and the speculation itself is quickly becoming the story. That's not fair to the daughter.

Stupid. Really, really stupid. If it wasn’t so blatantly uneducated this might only be tacky but considering the nature of Downs, this is downright dumb (albeit still tacky). Apparently when faced with a strong conservative politician on whom dirt cannot be found because there is none, the left is reduced to blind potshots hoping something will hit.

Mr. Colmes,
I thought your belief was that the medical decisions of woman are between her and her doctor? You guys on the left are digging deeper in the gutter aren’t you? I’m sure your line of attack looks really attractive to all of us rubes out here in the battleground states of the midwest. I used to have a lot of respect for you, but that is pretty much gone. What would you be saying if a Republican said what you did?
Its true. You Democrats always talk about women’s rights, but only when they tow your idiological line. Thank you to all of the liberal commentators who have shown just how mysoginistic all of you are over the past couple of days with Gov. Palin and previously with Sen. Clinton.
Hopefully Hannity busts your balls with this posting next week.

You chickenshit piece of filth kike, you are the reason Hitler was able to convince so many people to do what they did to an entire race of people. Assholes like you. I want to feel sorry for you on some level, but then realize that would be like trying to love a jellyfish. I’m waiting for you to make your Imus statement, you hate this woman so much inevitably you will fuck up and get fired, even if those hypocritical bastards at Media Matters won’t call any attention to your hate.
In fact… maybe this was a covert op to destroy Media Matters and the un-Fairness doctrine because it will highlight the hypocrisy of the left. On second thought scream all you want, do it deliberately on Hannity and Colmes and don’t just hide behind the web page you coward.
And thanks for ensuring the election goes the right way by being such a douchebag Nazi, Vice President Palin will take care of the media outlets leeching off of congress that protect the wretched parasites like you. Its about time someone investigated Soros’ tax records and shut down moveon.org, if she is willing to put up with this shit I bet she has more balls than any president since Nixon. News Flash to all the idiots heavy use of pot causes genetic damage and palin was an admited pot smoker. SO it was more then just likely that it was her heavy drug use combined with her age that caused this poor childs condition. while not going to the hospital as most women would when her water broke isnt the cause of the downs syndrom it definately shows the lack of concern for the child. Then again she was probably more concerned with her POLITICAL future and not her childs future. in a previous post somone said i wanted her aborted thats absurd i would never say that what i wished is that she did not abuse her children with drug use and neglect either pre or post birth.

Let’s see… who is a better judge of what steps a woman should follow during her pregnancy? Alan Colmes or a woman who is having her 5th child? Call me silly, but I am sticking with the latter option.
Alan, there was a time that I respectfully disagreed with most of what said and kept an open mind to future opinions. Those days are over. You have crossed a disgusting line.

Hey Roger, considering this is the second nominee and within 48 hours you are focusing on the issue of her own personal pracices conerning pregnancy health do you think that doesn’t risk being a little, maybe, sexist?
Can you cite one instance in history where the medical practices of a male candidate were questioned? The only thing close I can think of was Eagleton’s dismissal for recieving electroshock therapy for depression, although that concerned the type of treatment rather than method. Seriously, you seem to be saying she’s a woman who’s irresponsible with her own body (if you’re a liberal and refuse to recognize that brainstem with a beating heart and respirating lungs that can suck its own thumb is very much alive). Don’t accuse me of anti-semitism just for pointing out that Alan is hateful evil. After reading these posts he’s put up it almost borders delusional considering some of the lengths he’s going to in order to argue Palin is a horrible person.
Get her on tape listening to a demented preacher, or hanging out with unrepentant terrorists, or dissing her grandmother as a bigot, and then we’ll congratulate him. This makes the National Enquirer look like the world’s most renowned periodical for actually reporting the only truth in the news anymore.

Alan, this post really sinks to a new low. If Ms. Palin consulted by phone with her obstetrician, and then followed his advice, what business is it of yours or anyone else’s? Doctors only become concerned about the possibility of infection if labor doesn’t start within 24 hours after the water breaks. How do I know this? I am an obstetrical RN.
The truth is, you and your liberal friends are looking for any possible avenue to attack Sarah Palin. This story looked like a good way to try to paint her as irresponsible. It is also pretty vile, but that sort of thing from the Left has ceased to surprise me.

And if you choose to respond, whoever you are, you can leave out the Christian-bashing. Having been a Christian for nearly forty years, I can tell you that anyone with any maturity at all in the faith doesn’t speak or write that way as a matter of course.

Give me a break. Alan questioned her judgement because she went into early labor in Texas, gave a speech and hopped a damned flight to Alaska.
He said nothing about blaming her for having a child with Down syndrome!
Shame on you, Malkinites.
I’ve talked to several people today (in person) who are really leery of the “Governor’s water broke, she gave a speech, hopped a flight to Alaska and gave birth in a rural hospital and went to work three days later! oh PS She’s amazing because that baby has special needs and Palin is pro-life!” story. I’m studying for my MA in Special Education and if there’s anything I hate, it’s using kids for your own political gain…
If anything, Sarah Palin is the kind of woman that’s bad for America. Aren’t you conservatives supposed to care about your families and unborn children - you know? instead of endangering them by flying for ten hours after your water breaks? Little Trig had to be induced -which indicates there was a problem- and Colmes could’ve ripped into Palin like Coulter into a steak but he didn’t.

This is what he posted:
Still, a Sacramento, Calif., obstetrician who is active in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, said when a pregnant woman’s water breaks, she should go right to the hospital because of the risk of infection.
The risk of INFECTION. Not Down Syndrome. He never said a word or ever implied that his post had anything to do with Down Syndrome. It had to do with Palin’s irresponsibility concerning the birth and possible infection. Has all that sick hate in your system affected your eyesight not to mention your brain cells?

Oh dear… the nutjob network has been busy today. Sorry I didn’t drop by to defend you earlier Alan. This whole Palin situation is as fishy as a really fishy thing. Seems to me there are only two possible explanations for the woman’s bizarre behaviour:
1. She was trying to have a ‘fundamentalist abortion’ - kill the poor little thing without having to bear the blame herself, or more likely,
2. The daughter went into labour at a very unfortunate time, and Palin had to adjust the cover story and hightail it back to Alaska to rescue the charade.
Either way, the truth will out. Too many people must know the real story and it will all be clear in a day or three.
Any old ways, don’t fret about the fundies going postal on this one - they’re nothing more than zombies, hollowed-out bodies who have given over their minds to the money-grubbing charlatans that call themselves pastors. Such a pity these fools toss away the greatest gift we have - the ability to reason and think for ourselves.
Not all of them are like that, obviously. A large proportion of apparent fundies are nothing of the sort - it’s just very good for business to be the Baptist butcher, baker or candlestick maker in a town full of religious dolts. I’m guessing the loathsome Hannity, Coulter, Corsi and their ilk spotted gaps in the market for their particular brands of bigotry and just went for it, knowing the more obnoxious they were, the more millions they could suck out of the unsuspecting sheep.
Free enterprise, I guess. But pretty cynical all the same.

To RC from Smithtown,
I compliment you on your rundown of all the angry, foul-mouthed attacks on Alan by those whom he offended. Decency and civility strengthen one’s arguments and indecency and incivility weaken them. As a proud Conservative, I am squarely on the side of those who have attacked Alan, but I feel their ugly epithets do our side no favors. You were right to point that out.
I would, however, take issue with you on three counts:
1) Your views seem to be rooted in a very recognizable anti-Christian bigotry. The targets of your scorn are, “many moral, ethical, principled, upright, honorable, virtuos, pious, devout, Christian, family-values people”. Your sarcasm exposes an obvious disdain for such qualities and amazingly, you jumped to a prejudiced assumption that these people are Christians who claim to be virtuous. How could you possibly know this?
2) Have you ever read the stuff that folks on the Left write? The levels of profanity and hatred that they routinely rely on is far worse than anything the Right comes up with. Would you make a list of their less-than-Christian remarks? Perhaps I’m wrong, but I suspect you wouldn’t. Why not? Because folks on the Right have values that they can betray. This betrayal (a.k.a. “hypocrisy”) is the most vile and unforgivable of Liberal sins. Folks on the Left, however, are blissfully free to be as vile and as offensive as they want. Having divorced themselves from any of that silly, outdated, Christian family-value nonsense (unlike the pious Right that clings to God and guns), they are unburdened. They have no values and believe in nothing (thank you, John Lennon). If you have no values to betray, you can never be accused of being a hypocrite. How nice for you, RC.
3) Final point. If a Conservative gets angry and insults a Liberal with foul language, The Left go ballistic and demand blood. They cry, “hypocrite” and stomp off in an indignant rage.
If an Islamo-fascist gets angry and saws the head off of a humanitarian aid worker, the Left demand that we try to understand his anger and open dialogue. And then, in the same breath, they point an angry finger at the Right and accuse us of making the poor man angry. Go figure.
Hey RC, why don’t you try to understand the anger of those whom Alan Colmes offended? What’s so hard about that?
Take care and thanks for your post.

Maternal Age
August 31, 2008 - 09:05 ET by rb usmcWhat are the Causes of Down Syndrome, By Dr.Vincent Ianneli. (About.comPediatrics)
The incidence of Down syndrome rises with increasing maternal age. Many specialists recommend that women who become pregnant at age 35 or older undergo prenatal testing for Down syndrome. The likelihood that a woman under 30 who becomes pregnant will have a baby with Down syndrome is less than 1 in 1,000, but the chance of having a baby with Down syndrome increases to 1 in 400 for women who become pregnant at age 35. The likelihood of Down syndrome continues to increase as a woman ages, so that by age 42, the chance is 1 in 60 that a pregnant woman will have a baby with Down syndrome, and by age 49, the chance is 1 in 12. But using maternal age alone will not detect over 75% of pregnancies that will result in Down syndrome.
Seems to me the Dummies are playing with fire here. This is a pretty well know fact.

The situation with the Palin's resonnates very loudly with our family. When my wife was pregnant with our fifth child, the first test came back positive on DS. We gave this result a lot of credence because the fourth child was born with a heart defect (aortic valve stenosis) that is often an added complication in DS babies. We didn't hesitate to carry on with the pregnancy, and the second more accurate tests came back negative. But we worried all the way thru until Becca was born. And it didn't dull our desire for a sixth either.
I could have been more thrilled at Mac's selection, the wonderful example her life story is. I look forward to seeing her run for President in 8 years.

August 31, 2008 - 10:54 ET by CobraMan"Error 404 - File not found"
This is the message I get when I use the link provided for Colmes post. The rest of the page loads, but that particular entry seems to be missing. I wonder if Colmes had his post removed in order to delete his stupid assertion?

Expect serious "I didn't mean" grovelling on tomorrow's show.

August 31, 2008 - 11:35 ET by dahliatraversCorrect on all points, Cool Arrow.
John Roberts, Bill Weir, Alan Colmes. Who's next? It's great to watch these liberal, supposedly enlightened, commentators one by one walk into the sexist/ignorant trap of their own making.
More of an omission than an admission
August 31, 2008 - 11:42 ET by CobraManSimply removing the post is more of an omission than an admission as it is an attempt to deny the existence of a past mistake rather than admit that he made one. Instead of accepting responsibility for his mistake, he's trying to hide it from the public. That's almost as bad as the original post itself!

What a contrast this coward Colmes is to Palin.

Right, like Democrats haven't been doing this all along. </sarc> Remember Rather? He was a particularly astute user of the bald-faced lie. Why do these numbskulls pretend like Democrats abstain from attack ads? Having their flunkies promote patently false rumors to hurt their opponents is just par for the course.

These are the rantings
August 31, 2008 - 13:02 ET by doug1950of the herd in full panic and stampede mode, complete with wild rolling eyes and bellowing. Palin's selection is seen as unfair and how dare the Republicans pick such a sterling example of a true conservative. I am absolutely giddy with her selection. She is the "Anti-Liberal". For the first couple of days they only thing they had was "she is not experienced enough" and that has come back to bite them. They had nothing else, nothing...so now it is gutter fighting mode for them. It is hilarious to see the liberals, the MSM and their "statigists" on the talking head shows. Alan is a doofus and always will be. I think he has stepped on it this time. This is tantamount to tripping an old lady in the crosswalk. Stooping to this level is going to bite them harder than anything else. Americans HATE it when they see injustice like this, such hatred and repugnant comments. She is already gaining new followers by the thousands. People who were not going to vote at all are now planning on voting for HER because she is the face of the common American, not some Washington insider who has forgotten what they were sent there to do. She is so positive and upbeat and the rest of the crowd is like cold oatmeal.
Well put !
August 31, 2008 - 14:47 ET by StickfarmWell put Doug. The graphic you painted with words is too much.
A good friend of ours at church proclaimed that while they weren't comfortable before with McCain, they are excited and proud to do so now. I think you will see a resurgence in the Republican turnout the likes we haven't since the 1972 election.
And looking ahead.... in 2016... we can send back as President, effectively putting the Clintons on ice - period.

Gov. Palin has the Obamaniacs terrified
August 31, 2008 - 18:04 ET by Lame CherryAs someone who has had the Obamaniacs stalking and data mining my work to the extent that a Yahoo account was being even censored illegally by one of Obama's people, I welcome Gov. Palin into this so these vile creatures will be exposed.
No one the FBI nor media would do a thing when these terrorists were waging jihad on citizens, but now it will be most interesting to see these kooks exposed as Gov. Palin terrifies these people who have put their faith in messiah Obama as he is defeated by this Conservative woman.
Wonderful exposure for them in their foul mouthed screaming thinking that anyone in the GOP would be so distraught over any rumor they could come up with. All of this only energizes me more to expose Barack Obama and Joe Biden for the crooks they are.
Finally Mr. Huston, aliens at the birth? Every time I see Al Colmes I think I'm looking at an alien. Is that guy well or what is up with the way his skin looks like a rubber mask and he glows like those people who used to take AZT.
I hope the best for Mr. Colmes, but he certainly now in his latest stoop is as ugly in comment as he is in appearance.

Classless
August 31, 2008 - 18:40 ET by misterbee241I loved the comment about liberals showing up at a gun fight with a knife. That one made me laugh. First off, a liberal would not show up at a fair fight of any kind much less a gun fight - liberals are anti-gun, you know. And they wouldnt bring a knife either - their moms wont let them play with sharp objects, even after college.
But all joking aside, liberals really are a class act arent they?

August 31, 2008 - 23:19 ET by ConservativeRexAll we have to do is get McCain/Palin elected. Then all this crap with Kos. Huffington and Soros will all get ironed out.
Colmes
September 1, 2008 - 01:59 ET by VinncyGI just faxed this to Colmes:
Its nice knowing that you were given a job by Fox which you are clearly unqualified for. Please, take your liberal talking points horrible inhumane comments to MSNBC where they will cheer you and throw rose pedals at your feet.
But in the real world were conservatives see the world clearer and as it really is, it's time you moved to your true side kick Keith Oberman. Its time you leave a true news station and over to the liberal dregs of society with their hideous accusations. You've just demonstrated you are totally comfortable with callousness, stupidity and warped liberal thinking. Congratulations on your move. Judging from the ratings at MSNBC no one will know your there!!
I only hope you can leave with some shred of decency, and that Fox demonstrates that comments like yours are not tolerated at a real news network..
Regards.
Lets all hope Alan the very best at the sleeze ball MSNBC.
A Palin Press Conference Is In Order
September 1, 2008 - 03:37 ET by BondPlainBondPalin, I believe, should immediately address this issue with a press conference.
With her husband at her side, her infant son in her arms, Palin should look directly into the camera and name the people and organizations in the media (all media) that have willfully and deliberately furthered this false story, reiterating again and again this propaganda was created and spread by people that support Obama.
Palin should also be certain to point out that Obama voted, four times, against the Infant Born-Alive Act, his belief being a child born alive after a "botched" abortion should be left to die because it is "simply a burden" for that child to receive medical care from neonatal doctors and nurses. Palin should pose the question of how many more children, and children with Down's Syndrome, will Obama allow to die; through abortion, and through his non-support of the Infants Born-Alive Act.
Palin should also remind the American public Obama deliberately lied about his votes on that Act, and when held accountable, Obama lied, in a house of God, and said those that had exposed the truth about his falsehoods were "lying".
These Obama supporters must be held accountable. This is so removed from any type of human decency or civility.
Will Obama condemn these people and their outrageous tactics? Don't bet on it. And, if he does, he likes to wait until things that are obviously "helpful" to him almost leave the news cycle before saying anything. Cowardly behavior on Obama's part.
Interesting, too, that only the Democrats are in such a tizzy judging Palin (and her daughter). They can't seem to go far enough with the wild accusations and judgments. Party of tolerance, my Aunt Fanny.
They're hate-filled, professional smear merchants filled with overwhelming guilt and fear.
Is Alan Colmes an Obama operative? Sure smells that way.
