Take a gander at this one...

Reuters gives us another Obama photo in a seeming Christ-like pose, halo surrounding him.
They just can't resist it, can they?
No, they aren't in the tank, eh?

June 1, 2008 - 00:39 ET by mostlymoderateGosh, this is disgusting. I always thought the BS they used to spew about John F. Kennedy and Bobbie Kennedy was ridiculous but THIS is just simply ANNOYING!!
What in the hell has Obama done that is so fascinating? If you say it is his speaking abilities then I have something to tell you. Go to my church ANY Sunday and you will see a variety of ministers that will "woo" you with their speaking abilities. Obama is NOT that great a speaker!!
One more thing: I hate McCain for his past viewpoints on amnesty and illegal aliens but I know for sure now that he has my vote SIMPLY because I am all "Obama'ed-Out".

I totally agree with you! "Change we can believe in"...? And what ARE these so-called "changes" he keeps talking about? No one seems to know. But all the MSM can do is to gush and fawn over him like he is the savior of America!
Without a teleprompter, Osama Bama is a total moron. Watch some of his impromptu press conferences sometime - he can't answer a question to save his life.
In the meantime, does anyone have any bromo? I think I'm getting nauseous...

June 1, 2008 - 13:14 ET by CortillaenEver notice how the stars of the Dem party tend to be orators first and foremost? They always seem to be pushing people based on eloquence rather than merit and positions. I figure it's a (lack of) substance issue. Reality contradicts modern liberalism at every turn so they are forced to rely entirely on rhetoric to carry the day. Unfortunately, this country is brimming with idiots all-to-willing to vote for "whoever talks good". I'm almost to the point of advocating law prohibiting all candidates from speaking just so people are forced to examine platforms and records instead of meaningless speeches. Too bad that pesky 1st Amendment is in the way.

While I compleatly agree, I also think these folks are already lost to the Right. I believe that it will cost him votes with those that are undecieded. This holier then thou attitude rubs folks the wrong way. Does anyone seriously think Obama has more support today then he had 2-3 months ago. I know many former Obama supporters, and trust me, the former ones dislike him the most. They feel betrayed, after reading his book then finding out about the real man, they are furious. I read the book about a year or so ago because my Brother and Dad recommended it to me. I asked them a simple question after reading it, "where are the solution to our problems", they tried for months to suggest such great solutions to our current state of affairs, they were very easily rebutted and shown to be perfectly partisan. So I would ask them(mostly my brother, Pop doesnt like talking politic's with me)"how are these partisan policies going to change anything"? But now learning about the real man, he (my Brother) feels duped and he is not happy about it. Pop hasnt talked of Obama to anyone in my family since the Wright issues have surfaced.

June 1, 2008 - 09:32 ET by badger.Obama actually believes he is Grand. He really thinks that he holds the answers/solutions to all the problems in this evil world. All contained and filed in that brain of his. It's no wonder, when a person such as Obama, is surrounded by people constantly/consistently filling his head with this over-the-top adulation daily. After awhile a person starts believing this BS. Comparable to the newest, latest, and greatest Hollywood sensational superstar. Yes I can, yes I can, yes I am, yes I am. Then the phones stop ringing. Naive.
Obama you're so articulate, handsome, intelligent. Obama, you're something special, bigger than all of us, something new, great, and something different. My thought is that is they want to help Obama not appear like some elitist snob then they shouldn't be making these efforts to make him appear like a saint/messiah. I don't doubt for a second that the photographer is probably thinking that by doing this it will some how help Obama appear favorable with religious people when the opposite is true. Of course liberalism isn't about thinking with your head so I am sure that they will continue to get pictures like these in an effort to portray him as a holy man with a message of collectivism that will surely save us all. What is so difficult about referring to persons as they refer to themselves, or as someone would introduce himself or herself to another?
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to discern why many on the right, in light of current events, want to emphasize Obama's middle name at every opportunity. But I think that nail has been hammered enough, and at some point the practice will be found distasteful by a majority of Americans.
