If this isn't a hoot; Bill Clinton scolding CNN (memorably termed the Clinton News Network in some circles). Apparently, CNN hasn't shilled for Bill and Hillary enough to keep Bill from scolding CNN for bringing up recent criticism of him over his ongoing smear campaign against Senator Barack Hussein Obama.
CNN's Jessica Yellin wasn't gellin' for Bill, I guess, for after a South Carolina event Bill gave his famously jabbing pointer finger some exercise with Yellin at the receiving end. "You live for this," he said sternly as Yellin tried to ask a few questions about recent comments by former SC Dem party chairman Dick Harpootlian who said that the Clinton's attacks on Obama were "reprehensible."
Then Bill launched into another Right-wing-conspiracy styled theory over why CNN was asking the questions, imagining that the Obama campaign was now in charge of CNN's editorial decisions.
"They are feeding you this because they know this is what you want to cover." Bill yelped, adding later a "Shame on you."
This is an amazing magic trick that the Clintons are pulling and it really shows just how naive Barack Obama is in confronting the Clinton attack machine. Seriously, Bill comes out and makes blatantly untrue statements, then has the gall to break out the mean, jabbin' finger when someone dares to confront him with his actions (shades of "I did not have sexual relations with that woman"). And what does Obama do? Sputters about how unfair it all is but mostly just lets it all go unaddressed? What an amature.
Here is the CNN video of this amazing display of Clinton's chutzpah and brazenness.
Bill is a piece of work, ain't he? Barack better learn that they are in it for the kill. It ain't bean-bag, Mr. Obama, for the Clintons it's a blood sport.
Transcript of Bill's comments (courtesy The Trail Blog):
"I never heard a word of public complaint when Mr. Obama said Hillary was not truthful, no character, was poll-driven. He had more pollsters than she did.
"When he put out a hit job on me at the same time he called her the senator from Punjab, I never said a word. And I don't care about it today. I'm not upset about it.
"The only thing I pointed out was that there was substantially no difference in her record and his on Iraq, and that he had said in 2004 there was no difference between his position and President Bush. And he said that was somehow dishonest, but he never answers how it's not accurate. So this is crazy.
"This rhetoric is getting a little carried away here. And let me remind you, my ultimate answer is this -- there are still two people around who marched with Martin Luther King and risked their lives, John Lewis and Reverend Andrew Young. They both said that Hillary was right and the people who attacked her were wrong, and that she did not play the race card, but they did.
"So I don't have to defend myself from Dick Harpootlian. I will just refer you to John Lewis and Andrew Young. And let him go get in an argument with them about it.
"Let him go get in an argument with Dolores Huerta, one of the founders of Farm Workers, against what happened in Nevada. There is a fact here -- this is almost like once you accuse somebody of racism or bigotry, or something, the facts become irrelevant. There are facts here.
"And the final thing I would like to say is, you're asking me about this, and you sat through this whole meeting. Not one single, solitary soul asked about any of this. And they never do. They are feeding you this because they know this is what you want to cover. This is what you live for. But this hurts the people of South Carolina, because the people of South Carolina are coming to these meetings and asking questions about what they care about. And what they care about is not going to be in the news coverage tonight because you don't care about it. What you care about is this. And the Obama people know that. So they just spin you up on this and you happily go along."
Still, lefty on lefty violence is always a hoot!

BHO had his chance
January 24, 2008 - 13:11 ET by MikeHe had a chance to end the Clinton Era, and myths about it during the debate. When he responded to the misquote about Reagen, he could have said that the reason that Clinton was different was because the reason for the current state of politics is not the fault of George Bush, it is because of Bill Clinton. If he was not a scumbag that all democrats had to back and support in order to keep power, then there would not have been the backlash on Bush for the treatment that Bill received. If you want more of the same take a look at the general opinion of Hillary and ask if you think there is a chance that things will be better.
He also could have said that Reagen took on and won the Cold War, and Bill had affairs with interns instead of dealing with terrorism, which would have caused Bill to charge the stage, and Hillary to cry again.

That has been the book for years on Bill Clinton's medical records that he gave Hillary VD when he was snorting coke and banging Little Rock whores and is why his records are sealed as well as or sick a her's.

She might pick Richardson. I doubt she'll pick Bayh and she will not pick Edwards. Edwards is finally finished from the race for the president. He is a joke.

Bubba is clearly undoing his legacy (which is great!) and reminding Democrats how bad a President he was and that times were really not that great under him. They are being reminded that he left the office with a long list of questionable pardons and clemencies. They are being reminded that he left office mired in a recession and leaving a landscape of corproate corruption. They are being reminded that his only accomplishments were to co-opt Republican led initiatives (ie. NAFTA, welfare reform, balanced budget). His wife promises change and is fed up with the lack of effort by this adninistration on healthcare and energy. over their 8 years they acocmplished nothing in those areas and Democrats are being reminded of it. A Bully Is What A Bully Does
January 24, 2008 - 01:43 ET by SquonkamaticBill Clinton is simply a creepy old bully in a suit who is reacting in the way most bullies do when you use their own proven tactics against them: Feigning innocence, acting hurt, being indignant, and pointing the finger of blame at anybody but himself for something they started. The Clintons are the two individuals most responsible for the toxic, debasing and spiteful manner in which politics are framed for mass consumption these days. It's amusing to see the indignation with which they react to people pulling exactly the same crap that they spew only with themselves on the recieving end of the vomit chute. I actually hope Bill doesn't shut up, at some point Clinton Fatigue & embarassment will set in with their public no matter how the press tries to frame it. And while I really don't want a President Obama anything is better than eight more years of this guy's crap, even if She does get to wear the pants this time.
